Days Inn by Wyndham Deming

s very convenient, nice clean cool rooms with coffee and a refrigerator. The pool is great and both men at the front desk are exceptionally nice people.

I reserved my room weeks in advance. I couldn't reach the front desk to confirm after several attempts. I was able to confirm directly through Wyndham. That put my mind at ease. Arriving at the property a day early, I was easily able to obtain my room after paying for the extra day. Check in went well. The wifi was unavailable due to a local service outage. Nothing to be done about that. It was available the next day. The room was funky. The upholstered furniture was very clearly stained and dirty looking. White isn't a great choice, and they were white at one point. I didn't walk barefoot on the carpet. The bathroom has a window big enough for a person to fit through. The lock on the window was not secure. I didn't care for that at all, especially being a woman traveling alone. I bought a sturdy dowel to jam in the frame so nobody could get inside. There was a literal plant growing from the bolts that hold the toilet down. Cute, but it let me know cleaning isn't where it needs to be. NO POOL!!! This place was supposed to have a pool. The middle of May in southwest New Mexico and no pool. I wasn't impressed with that at all. That was part of the reason I stayed there. Had I known it wasn't operational, due to them just not having it serviced btw, I would have chosen a different hotel. The breakfast was surprisingly ok. They had an assortment of beverages. There was cereal and hot food items too. Nothing fancy but it was definitely better than a sack breakfast.

Great staff, very comfortable stay, quiet despite being busy. Enjoyed the pool. Bit more selection for breakfast and environmentally friendly plates, bowls and cups would be good, but otherwise no complaints.

Not expensive and you can park in front of your room. Good place for an overnight stay while on a road trip.

Nothing on website said pool is closed. First room was already occupied. Alternate room was yuck, 3rd bed in the adjacent room was hideous, window looked about to fall out with the ac unit, curtains were shredded and gross. Breakfast was disgusting.

Everything was nice and clean. Comfortable. Pet friendly. I’m moving cross country and have cats. The cats were welcome for a $15 fee. Breakfast was tasty. And we’re were able to check in late. The area seemed pretty safe so we were comfortable leaving our box truck parked in their parking area

Convenient stop from Texas ro California and back to Texas. The room was comfortable and clean, we would definitely stay again when we make that trip again . The Walmart was walking distance and the little Italian restaurant right next door was delicious. And the employees were very friendly.

There were throw pillows on the bed instead of regular pillows. I could have used an extra blanket. overall the place was clean but worn.

There were big black roach bugs in our room When I relayed this to the manager at check out, he seemed to not really care. The manager that checked us in was very nice and very accommodating. I won't stay here again. The room was nice but not the bugs.

The room was grimy. There was a cigarette butt in the shower. And there was a window pane missing in the back room!! Once we noticed that, we decided not to stay here. The staff was friendly and the pool was nice, though. Try the Comfort inn or the Holiday inn

The first room that we were given room 123 was musty and the coffee maker was dirty. The Clerk wad very nice she moved us to room 106 which was better, however the coffee maker wasalso dirty. The clerk took time to clean the coffee maker. When we were packing up our items, my wife found two half eaten bags of chips in one of the drawers, that was left by a previous guest. I observed that the entire motel needs to be updated. The furniture is very worn. The breakfast food looked like they were from something out of a freezer.

The upkeep in this property is appreciated. So many of these age buildings to be aged and run down. Although dated, it is clean, fresh linen and maintenance has kept it nice. Well done, full occupancy at good price, is better than almost empty and high priced

Not clean, the room smelled terrible

Hot Breakfast was very good and much appreciated. This was advertised as a hotel which it wasnt. This was a motel. Motel wreaked of marijuana. Room was filthy with dead bugs, soiled chairs, soiled bed skirt. Window was broken. Ac was working but broken and literally falling apart.

Books room ahead of time but was told they didn’t have any rooms available. Then the room was hot, ac didn’t blow well. Curtains were ripped, bathroom tube had mold, and the room had a musty smell.

Easy access and quiet. The major problem is that there is no WiFi in the rooms.

Bedside lamp outlets don't work.

Noisy guests honking car horns and slamming doors all night. Curtains broken, room was cold and no thermostat to adjust temp. Didn’t sleep well due to the noisy parking lot

Have stayed here two different times. First time everything was pretty nice, good condition. This last trip the room we were put in was super hot and smelled like musty feet. We were there for two days and the air conditioner really struggled to have an effect, really only catching up during the night. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated drastically, and the tub kept backing up. There was no nonslip mat in the tub and it was very slippery, my 6 year old fell multiple times while bathing, and my wife also slipped. When we got into the room, the fridge was not working. I found it was unplugged, and after plugging in it didn't get cool until the the second night. The room was fairly clean, but not in good shape, walls were peeling, stains on ceiling, carpet, bedding. Breakfast is very basic with pancakes, omelette, thin waxy bacon, and cold cereal. Staff is very friendly, and it is a reasonably affordable place, but there are others in the same price range, which I will be considering on our next visit.

Lamps were old and 2 didn’t work, no usb or usbc ports in room. The room was very tired looking. Bed was comfortable & front desk person nice

Quite old and outdated furnishing, even the bedspread. No phone charging ports, and a lack of electrical outlets.

Security was on our minds - no security latch on the door and no lock on the window over the bathtub.

If you have any work to do that requires wi-fi, I would recommend finding another property. Virtually no signal in the room. I even went to the front desk for help but he said the property has “Wi-Fi” but it’s not very good. I wish I’d known that before staying there!

I had a room around back of the building and it was very dark, no hallway lights. My rooms heater didn’t work after waiting for an hour. Called the front desk, maintenance came and couldn’t get it to work. I had to change rooms.

The young lady at the front desk Laura was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She was very patient as I had a few needs when I first came in. I would definitely Return! The restaurant next-door has the best Italian food ever!

Front desk staff was very rude. I paid for a non smoking and was placed in a very smelly room. Front desk lady was giving attitude and yelling at me next morning the manager called to inform me I was being KICKED OUT OF MY ROOM!!! By far WORST experience ever at any hotel!!!

The room was clean and warm on a freezing night. I left some items and they immediately called me to arrange my picking them up. Much thanks for that courtesy.

Had some of the best maids ever! Staff were all wonderful and courteous. Malachi our maid was one of the best maids we have had. Thanks for being such a great place to stay!!!

The young lady in the front office March 9 2024 on Saturday night was very busy and ignored the complaints of a young woman in line and kept her composure & professionalism. She’s definitely good for business! I was very impressed with how polite she was, with all of us. Also, the room was very clean. I paid a lot more the night before at Hilton Express and the top sheet had some crusty stuff on it. The sheets here were very clean and I felt very comfortable sleeping on them. On my way back I will stay here again! Thanks, to the office girl and KUDOS to the cleaning staff!

Motel was clean, both Front Desk clerks, checking in and checking out were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Maria’s Restaurant on site was great! A very nice place to stay at a good price!

The property itself was good. This is not a roach motel and the rooms are clean and good for a stay while traveling through. However, Deming itself is very inconvenient for traveling guests. There are NO nearby businesses close to the hotel that are open past 8pm. Your only provisions are whatever you have in your car. The only store that stays open is a gas station at the far edge of the town and even it has limited offerings. My low rating is a reflection of the town itself, not the hotel. If you're staying here keep in mind Deming's limited catering to travelers when passing through past 8pm. I'd be better off if I had either pushed on to Lordsburg or stopped at Las Cruces. Deming really angered this hungry traveler.

I choose this motel after spending one night at a newer motel near by. The other hotel was noisy with mechanical noises that never stopped all night. So I booked the Days Inn which is off the road, very quiet and better construction so no noise at all. Having Marie’s Italian Kitchen on the premises made a great place to hang out with family.

Simple, clean, and quiet after hours.

The hotel is in what looks to be a sketchy area . The staff was great and very accommodating. The place just needs a facelift. The rooms are clean but definitely show signs of wear. If you’re looking for fancy, this ain’t it. But for the fair price, you get a quiet, clean room with comfy beds and a decent breakfast

Older place but ok to rest your head for the night. Lots of traffic in and out of the parking lot. The restaurant next door was convenient.

It is an older property in an industrial area but owners have worked hard to provide a good and safe location. Walked a block for dinner and felt safe. Anytime I am in the area I will stay there again.

Nice overnight stay. Even though the property is dated outside, it is surprisingly comfortable and looks better inside - good king bed/pillows, spacious room, fridge, microwave, clean. The only thing I didn't like - you can't open the window, but I was able to air out the room by keeping the door open for 15-20 minutes. Good value. Breakfast has omelette, cereal, pancakes, but no yogurt or fruit. It is a quiet area, good sleep. Friendly service.

Staff was friendly and efficient. The room was well cleaned. I stayed alone and felt perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was a little sparse, but there was coffee, cereal, eggs and sausage. Would stay here again!

Friendly staff. The Hotel is older, but the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The air conditioning unit in the room was quiet so it could be left on at night. The breakfast provided was adequate. No fruit was provided.

Okay stay with good breakfast options

Room was clean, comfortable and fully stocked. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Awesome food in the Italian restaurant!

The room was clean, but the property needs some upgrades outside and inside. Why a motel would cover over a bathroom fan so that the humid air from a shower has nowhere to go is mind boggling. The two arm chairs in the room could do with a good cleaning or re-upholstering. We liked the breakfast and the attached Italian restaurant for supper. Staff were friendly and check in went efficiently.
