It’s always clean. The staff is helpful and pleasant. The workout room is so small. I can live with that. But, one of the three machine has been broken for over two years. Making a limited work out room very difficult to use.

Front desk was wonderful, very friendly. Room was big, older, but still nice. Water pressure was great. The pool is huge and there was a nice pool table and sun deck. Would definitely stay here again. The parking garage was very small and a bit scary but it was free.

Went for street vibes motorcycle rally. Everything downtown was close I walked everywhere location was perfect.hotel was clean has pool, pool table and bar very convenient. Front desk was helpful and professional. Store was on the corner 2 blocks from the row 2 blocks from the j resort and 2 blocks from calneva.

This is an old property but with many amenities. They have an ice indoor pool, game room and a “speakeasy” that serves cocktails and snacks each evening. You get coupons for the drinks and snacks for free which is nice. The parking on site garage is also free.

We love this hotel! Located right on the Truckee River. In close walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops, art, river walk, bars, outdoor entertainment and centrally located just on the out skirts of downtown. Has a lovely indoor pool, large dining area, pool table and in house speakeasy bar, and roof top lounge. It was loud enough outside at night on a Saturday to make me feel lively yet quite enough to wind down when ready to rest. Only complaint was the small parking garage made me nervous while parking my large suv. There is plenty and felt safe enough parking on street surrounding building and large 4-5 story parking garage if needed just a block away.

This was such a fun hotel. The pool is warm, big, and you have a TV by it, which was surprisingly entertaining. Also loved the free beverages and pool table in the room next to the pool. The Crafted Palatte restaurant right across the street was great too.

Was good, they only let you park 1 car per booking so that kind of sucked trying to find another place to park. I asked if I could pay more to park another car but they said no- otherwise everything was nice. Loved the indoor pool.

I feel this property misleads its guests, the lobby is dark not welcoming. The elevators are loud & wobbly all the way to least the 16th floor. We were in room 1646. As we entered the room there was finger prints all over the windows & hair still in the screen of the tub & the curtains didn’t close due to the track being broken. In the kitchenette area was food & garbage left from previous guests. Couldn’t get a good nights rest due to the lights & moon shinning through the filthy windows.

Cleanest hotel in Reno! This hotel has a 80’s Reno vibe but in the best ways. Large but with an intimate feel, quiet, clean indoor pool, large rooms, great water pressure, comfy big beds, free coffee and billiards, free internet, lots of common area space to relax, onsite parking, close to the Row casinos and River Walk restaurants, clubs, and bars, and the most helpful and friendly staff we’ve come across in quite awhile…and we travel a lot! It was also priced right. Nice to see places like this still exist! We would definitely stay again.

This usually is our go-to hotel when visiting Reno ( which isn't too often).It is usually clean and comfortable. But this last visit was anything but that. The room appeared clean upon entering the room, but after taking a look around there was dust everywhere, garbage left on the floor and there were crumbs of some sort on the bed? To top it off the mattress was so uncomfortable where you just sink into the bed. Stayed two nights and it killed my back for almost 2 weeks. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. The man who checked us in was very nice.

Nice place, but louder at night when we expected so far from casinos. Evidently there is a night club across the street that has no closing time. It was loud the Friday night we stayed….from 2am to 3 am- difficult to sleep when we were expecting quiet down by the river…. Otherwise very nice place

Really enjoyed staying there over the weekend in July. Beautiful room with a character, very spacious and comfortable. Blackout curtains, comfortable bed and pillows, a lot of convenient tables and storage space. Nice bathroom. Every floor has a different theme and is interesting to walk around and look at the pictures or items related to the theme. Will definitely stay here again, next time I go back to Reno!

It was overall very nice. Staff was friendly. Parking was a little confusing. Also, the whirring of the elevators as they went up and down was audible from inside our room, especially in the middle of the night, which was very strange- I’ve never noticed that in a hotel before.

Nice big room, very clean, free tea/coffee, next to riverwalk. But front rooms face a bar that bumps music all night, seriously, until 6am. The a/c kinda muffled the sound but not enough. If you book, ask for a room facing the back.

This place is up to date and keeps the old time class. My room was spacious and I could not hear the adjacent rooms. There's an elegance here that is missing in other hotels plus the staff are attentive and kind. When I visited each floor had a themed display of art which blended well with the hardwood, tile and brass in the establishment.

The Hotel was quite a bit out dated but was very clean.When I checked in the lady was pretty rude and not very friendly.We didn’t use any of the amenities basically just slept and showered.The only reason we stayed there was because of the price.

It is a very nice place and super convenient to downtown. There are nice restaurants nearby and the beautiful river park is right there. There are some unhoused hanging around outside some of the time but seem totally harmless. The security seems a bit over the top but maybe needed.

Great location for Reno. Lovely to be near the River, the River restaurants and the strip. Love no casino in the hotel but plenty nearby. Check in was lovely, staff was awesome. Free parking is a bonus. The Bar is cute and has all specialty cocktails. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and big. Breakfast is a bit weak but adequate. We would 100% stay here again.

Nice quiet hotel. Visited on a Sunday night and nothing was open in hotel. No bar/ meals availability was disappointing but not a surprise. Wasn't offered anything "VIP", feels like a wasted use of the term. Still a good spot though.

Such a great place to stay. The rooms were big with a fridge and microwave, the beds were very comfortable, and the pool was perfect temperature. While the hotel does not have a restaurant in site, you have many dining options just a few steps away. This will be the only place I stay from now on in Reno.

Old hotel in good condition. Non-smoking hotel is great to find but our room still had a slight smoky order perhaps still lingering from old carpet and drapes. Spacious room, and bathroom, old tub with sliding glass doors. Furniture is big brown style with lots of mirrors. Great location near the river walk. Parking garage with elevator to ground level, then walk to lobby to take another elevator to our floor. Thirsty’s bar was nice but should have lower light levels. Breakfast sandwiches there were not very good (bacon egg cheese).
