It states RV Parking, however no designated area for RV or Trailer Parking, when arrived towing our boat it was a challenge even driving through parking lot looking for spot to park truck with boat as the lot was full of vehicles. If you state you have RV parking there should be a designated area for such with easy in and out access when someone arrives to stay at your facility towing or rv’s.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, traveling with my folks. The place is definitely showing its age. I come back every year because it is convenient to south shore activities. But on Tues 7/1/25, I woke at 6:50am to drilling noises directly above my room. Clearly there was construction activity, which is totally understandable in an old building. But why so early in the morning? Maybe wait till 8 or even 9am when most people will be awake. I think I’ll reconsider our future stays and instead opt for newer properties on the California side of the state line. As for the casino? Well, clearly it is still the realm of the smokers. Despite the trend toward lower smoking rates in the US, smokers still rule in casinos. In Vegas, I suppose, newer ventilation systems make the smoke pollution less obnoxious. But Tahoe casinos haven’t caught up to their flashier cousins to the south. Bring extra changes of clothes if you plan on even just passing through the Harrah’s casino.

Overall this was a great stay. Check in and checkout was seamless and the facilities were clean. The only issue was with the amenities: The hot tub was srained and closed and the pool was supposed to be heated but wasn't.

Hotel was probably very nice in its day. The hotel needs renovation. It appears they are not spending money to keep it up. The pool was less than desirable and hot tub closed off. Carpeting in room had a huge wrinkle in the middle of the floor. Parking was $20/day and resort fee was higher than advertised. Never stay in. Harrahs again

Over priced for what you get. Ridiculous fees: parking, fitness center, internet and telephone. Didn't use fitness center, hotel wifi or hotel phone but doesn't matter you will be charged. Hotel is outdated. Have to walk past smelly smokey casino to get to elevators. I don't recommended it unless you enjoy smoking and gambling and even if you do you could still stay somewhere else for less money.

We had a great time at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Resort & Casino. The location was excellent, within walking distance to Heavenly, making it super convenient for skiing and snowboarding. The resort itself had a nice atmosphere, and we really enjoyed the indoor pool, which was a great way to relax after a day of outdoor activities. There were also good restaurants in the resort with a great variety of food options, which made dining convenient and enjoyable. Overall, the place was good, though our room was not cleaned during our stay. However, we were so busy exploring and enjoying everything the area had to offer that we didn’t have time to request housekeeping. Still, the experience was positive, and we’d definitely consider staying here again for its prime location, amenities, and dining options.

The location is great, and the check in staff were quick. The cleanliness and quality of the room was bad. All the furniture was rundown and or stained. Bathroom was very tight, had broken appliances. The Arcade was awful, like it had not been cleaned in years. I will not be staying at this location again.

Been staying here on and off since the 1990's. Not much has changed since then in terms of updating. This place is a time capsule. One of the bathrooms had not been cleaned. Housekeeping sent someone to clean it. It literally takes 5 minutes or more for the shower and sink water to heat up. The "resort fee" is mandatory so why not include it in the room price? Parking for hotel guests is now $20/day to park in a lot outside that used to be free. Ventilation is poor in the casino so the check in area has a smoke smell.

We were locked out of our room a day early. Even though we showed our Hotels.cok booking, the staff would not believe us. The manager called security on us. It tool over an hour to sort out. Very poor customer service. Not to mention the aging state of the hotel and lack of cleanliness.

The room is exceptionally large but cozy and very comfortable. The sofa is very long and was the most comfortable I have ever sit on in all hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Got two full bathrooms which was surprisingly great. The only thing that needs improvement was the TV which was too small and old. Overall experience was exceptionally good. Will choose to stay again.

Rooms seem newer than what we thought given the reviews. On feature that really brought it higher is two bathrooms. Though we don't normally need daily housekeeping, the soap in the shower was empty. I just dealt with using the hand soap since there was shampoo. A small but crucial miss by housekeeping when people checkout. Not particularly happy with $20 per day parking but it is what it is. We did not eat at any of the restaurants given the high price and not wanting to be disappointed. Internet is very slow for the resort fee that you pay.

This is the third Stateline hotel that I have stayed at this winter. After reading other reviews, I was expecting Harrah's would be at least somewhat better. But really there isn't much difference between Harvey's, Harrah's, and Bally's. All of them are showing their age in different ways. At Harrah's carpet in our room was needing replacement, bathrooms (yes two!) were small and should be remodeled to one nice one. Shower was small and didn't have very good pressure. There was a previous guest's dental pick on the floor (in plain sight). Nasty. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. If the price were the same for all of them, I'd stay at Bally's. Otherwise, I'd choose the cheapest one.

Windows were not sealed so the wind noise was loud all night. Had to put towel to try and dampen the noise. Limited dining choices unless you want to spend on fine dining. Had to pay for 2 separate vehicles for one room rental.

Check in the worst experience in our travels. We waited from approx 10 AM to 2PM for our room. We were first told the the room was ready but needed to pay $25. If we came back at 1PM, we could go up to rest, but the room needed inspection. So we waited and waited util 2PM and with me complaining, we were allowed up.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! We had to prepay our reservation. We got to check in and had to then pay a resort fee and deposit then they proceeded to tell us there were no rooms available after we have again prepaid for the room paid the resort fee and a deposit. They said there was no cleaning staff for the past four days so there was no rooms and they would call us if when we became available. We never received a call and never got our room. We had to find another hotel in the Tahoe area thank goodness we were able to find amazing room at the new Margaritaville hotel. When we went to dispute the charges since we were never received our room of course our hotel will not refund any of our money. Absolutely horrible business practices and on top of that the hotel was all dirty and the customer service was absolutely horrible. I can’t imagine how dirty our room would’ve been if we did ever get it. Such a fraudulent operation and horrible experience! Never again!!

Very out dated facility/rooms and expensive. Every move we wanted to make the hotel was ready to bill on it. We observed that the staff treated all guests unreasonably poorly. We only stayed 1 night. We asked for extra blanket at check in and someone banged on our door at 3:46 am with the blanket. Unbelievable!. Hotel staff need to realize the illusion of once a great hotel is gone. This place and staff was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Overpriced for such an outdated facility with unfriendly staff!! We looked around and booked the entire week elsewhere . We found most places were so so so much cheaper, very professionally friendly, properties in great locations and most of them were very modern and provided great amenities and even complimentary continental breakfast.

Nice hotel but staff needs training in customer service. Upon arrival I asked where the concert I was attending that evening at Harrah’s was located and the front desk clerk said he didn’t know but “probably across the street at Caesars Outdoor Amphitheater—it was 40 degrees. I knew he was incorrect as it was in Harrahs and I merely wanted him to point me in the correct direction. Then when I arrived in my room to get ready for the show, I discovered the iron was broken. I spent over 20 minutes trying to reach housekeeping, maintenance and the front desk—no answers after numerous tries. Thus, rather than wearing the dress I packed, I had to wear my hiking clothes that I had been in all day. I then found that one of the toilets would not stop running so I took another stab at calling all the same lines again to no avail. I ended up shutting the bathroom door so that I wasn’t kept awake all night. On a positive note, the room was nicely appointed, the bed amazingly comfortable and a nice variety of pillows. I’d consider staying again but I certainly hope some time is spent on customer service as I was highly disappointed.

Anniversary getaway was a bit disappointing. The property seemed worn out and not all that clean. No housekeeping services, which meant we had to empty our own trash cans and track down someone for clean towels. Some of the restaurants were either closed or had been relocated, so you couldn't depend on the signs or elevator buttons to locate them. Workout room was small and dingy, and the pool's jacuzzi was empty and closed off.

Stayed Sun-Fri. Check in was easy/quick. Room service was not done during the trip. We were told to ask for towels/trash on Wed but didn't bother. It did mean our trash pile was pretty large in the room. Room was pretty quiet - only once got woken but loud people in hallway. Short walk to the Heavenly Gondola which was nice. Ate breakfast at the Cafe one morning - food good but prices a little steep.

Hotel staff was pleasant but the room and bathrooms were very well worn. The casino (table staff) were hardly enthusiastic- very disappointed with lack of ‘energy’ especially considering the table minimums. Steak house supposed to be premium- served choice not prime- cut $80. Next morning my wife had same steak (smaller) with steak and egg breakfast for less than half that price. Will not return- add on charges to reservation rate too!

The hotel is centrally located which makes it convenient. My experience with the Friday Station Restaurant was excellent. The Chilean SeaBass was delicious. The server’s name was Matt and he added a personable flair along with an intimate knowledge of the menu which enhanced our experience.

The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, but I believe that parking and Internet WiFi access should be included in the price of the room, as it is by most competitors. Also, the requirement that I pay a 15% gratuity to order and pick up food to go in the restaurant is an excessive "tax" that has no basis in reality - there was no "service" provided to me beyond taking my order and bringing it to the front of the restaurant - this is a ridiculous overreach of the current trend of employees expecting "tips" for doing their basic job.

Our room had a good view of lake. But for that we had to pay extra charges. That was not mentioned when we booked online. The most disappointing thing was there were not any choices for food. We expect a casino hotel would have multiple restaurants, at least one restaurant that is open for 24 hours. There was one disappointing looking food court that closed before 7:00 pm. The Italian restaurant was closed. All other restaurants were closed when we checked at 7 pm. The main point of staying in the casino hotel was to have good food choices. I'll never stay there again.

They dining experience was terrible. First it took forever to be seated, no one was working that desk. Then the waiter didn't come, so we got up and left.
