I reserved a balcony room. Upon check in I was given a balcony room on the 6th floor. I was not told there was a trash shoot constructed right in the middle of my balcony that obstructed my view and made the balcony useless. Furthermore, remodeling was going on right above me that was so loud I decided to immediately leave my room. I went to the front desk and asked to be moved, the clerk said they could not accommodate me until the next day. I stayed away from the room until night fell. The next morning construction started right above me at 6:30am waking us up and upsetting my wife. The front desk said they were not supposed to start until 7:30am but can't control the contractors. Even 7:30 is too early, if I would have known, I would have pursued other options. My complaint regarding the remodel starting early has been documented with the Golden Nugget help line. Your front desk finally moved me mid-day (very inconvenient) to a smaller "non-balcony" room. And oh, by the way, my parking pass on day one did not work. Long story short, it was a very disappointing stay. When making the reservation, I should have been informed of the remodel activity. I feel I need to be re-imbursed for a very unpleasant experience. Like I said earlier, all issues have been documented.

Our stay was quick but very nice! Check in took a while because the people in front of us had apparently never checked into a hotel before. Not staff fault. Our room was very nice, large, clean, beautiful bathroom and a view of the pool. Did not have time to use the pool but it was sparling clean and the pool deck and loungers looked very inviting. There is construction going on in the tower on the other side of the pool and that was pretty loud during the day. When construction stopped, it was very quiet. We were there for an event at the Amphitheater which was a very easy, short walk from the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.
