Construction on parking lot was loud and inconvenient

The place is horrible. The hot Jacuzzi is only open from 8 to 6pm, during which I doubt how many guests will stay in hotel instead of going out for vacations. We still rush back at 5:30pm to use jacuzzi only for 15mins, and we got rejected for various reasons. The lady at front desk firstly warned us its closing soon (implying us to not use the Jacuzzis), secondly asked us to be "courtious" because we "left water on the floor yesterday after using Jacuzzis". I wonder, in a Jacuzzi, how do prople get out of pool without leaving water on the floor? By flying in the air? For check in, she gave a 10min speech about all the rules in the lodge, particularly about cleaness. I understand to put all dirty towels in the bath tub, but remove pillow cases, flat sheet and fitted sheet as well? Clean out dishes? I was very anxious during the 2 days stay, worrying we did something wrong, 1 person in my group didnt use the towels at all because she didnt want to make it dirty, and even scared of sleeping on the bed, again, for the cleaness. else we will be charged if more than 1hour and 15 mins cleaning needed. That's a very abstract rule. How to count 1.25 hour of work? Does washing and drying time be included? 1.25 hour work per cleaning person? At the end, We spent more than 1 hour to clean the room before leaving. Guests should be aware of those rules, in a written format, before they book the place. These are some beyond normal requirements.

I really enjoyed my two-night stay at the Lodge. It’s centrally located on a quiet street that is very near the casinos and heavenly ski resort. The front desk and cleaning staff have great pride in their work and it shows. They are very organized and everything was super clean. Although the lobby hours are limited, we enjoyed the espresso-based coffees, the spa area, and the fresh fruit. Sarah was especially kind and welcoming. The room was a good size and had a separate bedroom area, as well as a pull-out sofa bed. You get a decent sized fridge and a very well outfitted kitchen. Sliding door to a small deck area. Lots of nice features to the room. Would definitely stay again!!

Our stay at this property was a pleasant experience. Parking was a bit of a challenge due to our truck and the narrow spaces, and there were times when other visitors double parked, which made it tight. The front desk staff was friendly but clearly overwhelmed, with signs about being patient due to understaffing. While most of the team was helpful, there was one older woman who seemed a bit irritable and would interrupt the others, which added to the confusion when we checked in. We booked through Expedia, and unfortunately, the front desk wasn’t aware of our reservation when we arrived, so we had to wait for our room to be ready even though check-in was at 4:00 pm. While we waited, we spent some time in their vintage lobby—my husband loved the old-school charm, but for me, it felt a bit too outdated. That being said, the room itself was fantastic! It had recently been renovated, smelled of fresh paint, and everything inside was clean, modern, and well put together. Once we got settled in, we really enjoyed the comfort and quiet of the space.

Place was quiet. Needs updated appliances. Needs more games or activites for kids. We were able to walk up the hill to a bike rental place. There is a nice bike trail to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay, the staff was very helpful and nice and the place was very nice. My only comment is that the lobby closed at 7 pm and the spa closed at 6 pm, which seemed inconvenient. We were hoping to use the spa after skiing.

The best part about the stay was the woman at the front desk who appeared to be either the manager or manager-owner. Fantastic communication and very welcoming. The suite was also perfectly clean and had been renovated at some point. The downside for us was that we were there in early July. The outdoor temperatures were 90ish. THERE IS NO A/C. The nice woman at the desk seemed surprised to learn we were unaware there was no A/C and (2) were not happy to learn this at check-in. I get that Lake Tahoe is a skiing destination but given the (also unexpected) very heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic, especially through the downtown area, it is a yearround vacation destination. We were provided two fans plus there is a ceiling fan in the living room and bedroom. This is little help when the outdoor temperatures reach 90 during the day. None of the fans had enough output to do a whole lot beyond weak movement of very warm air. We were told to open the balcony door at hight, which we did, but it did little to alleviate the sauna-like indoors. Sleeping was miserable. I did not think that in 2024 I still had to check to see that the lodging has A/C, but apparently so. It is a shame, because it was otherwise a nice place to stay. And like I said, the woman at the front was wonderful. The only other odd thing was that there is not a lot of parking, yet they have pylons blocking off 2 or 3 parking stalls with a sign for scooter parking that were empty. Odd when there is limited space.

It is very clean building inside and out. The surroundings outside the property very cozy and in the nature surrounded by the forest. Lobby of the hotel is very nicely decorated and very welcoming. Inside the units all to your comfort. Very happy with the experience.

Hot tub is only open until 530. Same with game room. Seems suited for OLD people without kids

The staff was very friendly. The unit was very clean, updated and well stocked with everything we needed. The grounds were beautifully maintained and I could tell a great deal of care went into every detail. We are excited to return

Cleanest place I've ever stayed at. A little different than a normal hotel but I loved that about it. The staff were very kind. Definitely will be returning.

Very nice place to stay. Safe, quiet and clean. It’s has nice kitchen, good size refrigerator and oven so we can cook some meals instead to go out every day. We will definitely stay there again for next trip to Tahoe.

It was such a quiet, clean, spacious apartment. It had a lovely view of the woods. A fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher to boot! We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away with the comforts of home.

Great little condo for a great price, however the pull out bed mattress was very uncomfortable and you could feel the springs.

The beds are not comfortable. The sofa bed is good as a sofa but very noisy and very uncomfortable to sleep on. The actual bed was smaller than a queen and not easy to sleep 2 people. Also it was inna very small room that did not feel great to sleep in.

The one con it has.... which can be a big one is that the whole place doesn't have AC! If your room is facing the back then your room will get hot cuz there's no breeze nor windows for air to circulate through... so the heat just sits.... the ceiling fans and fans they give you don't do much.

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in how close it is to everything in South Lake Tahoe. Excellent value. There is no air conditioning but plenty of fans. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The property is clean. The concierge Jennifer Ellis was always the best stayed in this property many times. The manager and the other concierge Cora was also courteous, respectful and they are all kind to a former travel agent, senior and disabled. I will always continue to stay in the lodge every year.

The check-in staff took over 15-min to check in one guest. If you are behind someone checking in the other staff at the check in counter would not offer to help or just answer a question.

The front desk person was very pleasant and explained things well when we arrived.

Great sized and comfortable space, bed a little too soft. Only issue was on checking in both our CC's were declined because their machine was malfunctioning and counter people's attitudes changed. Tried another machine and all worked fine proving it was their machine error but their attitude was still there - disappointing.

Very close to the lake, yet tucked away and quiet.

We went for a cheer competition and the stay was very convenient to the Tahoe Blue Event Center where the competition was at. It was so close that we were able to walk, which saved us from having to pay for parking. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. It was quite and peaceful.

Excellent place to stay for up to a week. Nice location great people at the reception. We loved it.
