Customer service awesome, pool or hot tub not available during week!!, no prices on vending machines except ice cream. Also ice-cream did not accept coins.

This property advertises right in their name that they have an attached waterpark. They don’t mention anywhere on their listings that the waterpark only operates on Saturday and Sunday for something like a 4 hour window of time. Hotel in general needs a major update. Wall paper coming off the walls, ceiling tiles that are water stained, furniture has stains, carpets are worn out, back door to the property doesn’t even lock shut so anyone has full access to the hotel rooms whether they have a reservation or not. Restaurant wasn’t functioning but there are quite a few places in the vicinity to eat and shop. The only real positive to this property was the actual staff, they all did a great job.

This place should be condemned. The updates needed are beyond help. Water park is only open a few hours on weekends only.

Waterpark is only open for limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Glass doors were shattered. Building inside and outside are disgusting. Instantly checked out and asked for a refund due to the unsafe conditions for my family.

Was last here about 6 years ago. The place has been gutted of any amenities. Waterpark and bar are long gone. It’s literally a place to park and a room for the night. One towel, broken sink, tiny monitor for a tv. You’re not saving anything by staying here.

The room was clean and the furniture was old. The carpets throughout the hotel were clean but dingy. I was on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken and hadn’t been repaired since 2024. There were open guest rooms next to mine. The price included breakfast which was mediocre. Needless to say I have doubts staying at another Quality Inn

Water park/pool is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Fitness room is closed. Wifi sucks. Rooms have a funky smell. Breakfast options were cereal, oatmeal or a muffin. The building looks like it should be condemned

Everything in the hotel all amenities were closed for renovations. The pool was only open on the weekends from like 11:00 to 4:00. There was no ice machines on any of the floors the 5th and 6th floor were in very grave disrepair we were not on that floor I needed to do laundry I walked up to check out the laundry facilities they were not clean so we had to go to the laundromat. There wasn't anything for breakfast except granola bars juice and terrible coffee.

Don't expect a fancy hotel with this one. It is somewhat run down. Some door handles were broken, baseboards and carpets messed up, bathroom with rusty ceiling. The rooms are spacious and the staff were great. The breakfast included was a grab-and-go breakfast bar with cereal, granola bars, fruit, and donuts. There is nothing hot for breakfast. Make sure you look at the Palm Island Waterpark hours. It's advertised in the name, but it was only opened for a few hours on the weekend when we came in the summer, so we didn't get to do it.

The rooms were dirty. Food under the bed. Stains on the sheets. Water did not drain out of bathtub while taking showers.

They have roaches. On the first floor, for sure.

The amenities that were listed were not available, and there was not an explanation as to why or if they were going to become available. I am referring to the arcade room which is the main reason we booked this particular hotel. We found two cockroaches in our room in two different areas. One was above one of the beds on the wall and the other was found in the bathtub. This was absolutely disgusting. Not to mention, the floors had not been vacuumed prior to us staying as there was hair, crumbs and wrappers everywhere. We were concerned of the condition of the room and when we reported it, nothing was done about our displeasure. We were very disturbed and disgusted by this hotel. And unhappy with the service after receiving a complaint.

The main lobby was very ominous, with absolutely no furniture. Walked down the hall and it smelled like weed, only to have that mix with the extreme musty smell of the room. First thing I did was move a pillow and see a small bug scurry away. Spent an hour at 1am seeing if there were any alternative local rooms. There wasn't, so instead I was treated to roaches in the bathroom, the hot and cold water being switched, unvacuumed and super dusty room with dust bunnies all over the ground, and a room that felt like I was in the third world, with shotty patch work all around the walls and extremely dated everything

Cockroaches in the room. Filthy rooms. Smelly Carpets. Front desk send someone to clean up the room, he didnt have vacuum cleaner. We reached here at 8:00 pm. We didnt have any choice, i looked around to get another hotel at that time, but all of them were full. I slept in my car instead, as the bedbegs in the room. Its a zero star hotel. Do not, do not, do not, do not stay here.

I don't use 1 out of 5 because the staff was friendly to me. When I arrived my room was not ready. I was lucky that the attendant assigned me a new room. I booked two rooms, and in both rooms the air conditioner could not be turned off. This was important for us because it was dirty, and we got stuffed nose because we could not turn it off. The door in my room was broken and could not close, the shower in the other room did not work. We saw cockroaches in the breakfast bins and a door in the second floor. The staff is friendly, but it seems that the managers do not want to pay for cleaning, plumbing, etc. And I am surprise they don't pay because the cost was high. Because of the high price I did not check the reviews where other people have seen the same as I have.

Property had bedbugs! They did promptly return our money when asked for a refund!

Had to have our original room changed twice because the first room had the door wide open upon arrival and the second's lock did not work. The rooms REAK of cigarette smoke and we had to spray perfume on our clothes just to be able to breathe in the building. Saw bugs the instant we walked into the final room as well as human fluids and cigarette burns covering the sheets. Our other room had blood spattered around the room and the light switch turned on only the microwave. Management does not care and even seems fully aware of the problems.

It looked poorly maintained. Many things in need of repair.

This is an old hotel with poor upkeep. Rooms were very old and air conditioner was loud and ineffective. Furniture was old and smelly. Internet was not working in the room. Both days I had to call the front desk for them to reset their modem for the internet to work. While the hotel had mentioned free breakfast, it was limited to some cereal, oatmeal packets, few bars, stale donuts and over ripe bananas. There wasn't even a microwave available.

Overall the hotel looked rundown and kind of shabby. It took three (3) times to get a room key that worked. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. It appears they rent rooms to homeless people (possibly through the Department of Social services) which made us feel a little uncomfortable. I we won’t use this hotel ever again.

The hotel itself was fairly clean. The heat didn't work all the time. Other than the check in didn't really see hotel staff until we checked out. The hotel was quiet. I did like that there was a refrigerator and microwave. The refrigerator was iced over but it was still working. The microwave was not working properly we finally got it to work. If you are planning a short trip then it is ok for that. No more than a couple of days. The check in was easy and the counter person was friendly. I snowed heavily and the parking lot was not plowed.

This place was in rough shape. We booked a king size room and instead got 2 full size beds. Light didn’t work, dead bolt didn’t work, door handle was broken, bathroom had numerous stains on the ceiling. It was a last minute booking but for the price I expected more

The first room we were given reeked of smoke, had no artwork and things peeling off the wall and was generally disgusting. I went back to the desk to request a different room and was told the hotel was sold out, which there is no way is possible given the size, lack of cars in the parking lot AND at my insistence, how another room suddenly became available. The second room did not reek of smoke but had a hole in the back of the bathroom door, random stains on the comforters and holes in the sheet from where they were burned with cigarettes. The bed sunk a LOT when I sat down and the as quite overused. If there was another option and it wasn’t already very late at night, we would have absolutely been leaving. That said, we didn’t have another option and needed a place to sleep, so we made it work. The wifi only worked sporadically, the tub was oddly curved at the bottom, very beat up and the shower head was very low (I’m 5’2” so that’s saying something) making our showers not overly comfortable and the included breakfast was some cereal, random granola bars and coffee…also very disappointing. We did not utilize the “waterpark” as I’m not sure it’s open at all during the week and we were not sticking around to find out, but we did have a view soI included a picture of that as well. I still don’t recommend it for any reason.

No orange juice (just tang) and poor tasting coffee. Most hotels offer bread/ toast or bagels , OJ, and a waffle maker. Room was fine and clean but ac was blowing on the bed all night and there was no phone in the room or ice bucket. Toilet was very low to ground and round not oblong making use very uncomfortable. For what we paid we will not return.

This property needs some serious renovations. One elevator was not working. One ice machine was removed for not working. Rugs were worn. Hallways need updating. But the room was very good except a painting missing from the wall. Beds were excellent. Fridge and other amenities were operating. It was quiet. The smoking floor had a very strong smoke smell but the non-smoking floor where we stayed was fine. The value was good as it was inexpensive but be prepared for overlooking the general state of disrepair of the overall facilites. Breakfast was simple but fine with cereals, hot oatmeal, juice and doughnuts.

Room smelled like stale cigarettes, wash cloth over the smoke alarm and vent falling off wall . We switched rooms the second room smelled musty and the toilet didn’t stop running I paid 200 for a room I was not okay sleeping in the blankets were dirty I had to use my own bedding and pillows

upon arrival i thought we must be at the wrong place… it’s nothing like the photos online. extremely rundown, and quite frankly scary. we witnessed a drug deal in the parking lot while unloading our bags from the car. and when we got to our room, we had to turn right around and leave because there was a cockroach right on the wall. NOT family friendly and not safe for kids. we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. only positive was that the staff was understanding and rectified the situation.

The first room I was given, the door was broken. The second room I was given, the curtain was half fallen off and couldn’t close. The third room, I ended up taken, even though the light switch entering the room did not work and neither did the coffee maker in the room. I was a single woman and didn’t fell comfortably in the first two rooms.

This hotel was beyond disgusting!!! The check in process was quick and easy, but my room was so dirty and completely run down. There were grease smudges on the mirror, my toilet was running (very loudly) and would not flush. The privacy lock on the door, did not work! I went back to the front desk to ask for a new room and was accommodated. The front desk associate walked me to my new room to ensure satisfaction and insisted coming into the room with me and I Ben let the door close behind him which made me uncomfortable. I agreed that it was ok because of the pressure I felt with him in my room. On his way out, he was completely inappropriate and decided to compliment me on my beauty. To no surprise the second room was also VERY dirty and run down. The second room had stains on the couch and floors, the wallpaper was ripped off, shower curtain was black at the bottom, many holes in the wall, cigarette burns in the comforters, and on the bedside tables. The heating and cooling system was turned OFF, but was still very loud and did not stop running all night. I traveled 4 hours away and did not arrive until about 9pm. With my late arrival and all of the issues, it was very hard to find another hotel within the area that was not going to charge me hundreds of dollars for the night. I was leaving at 6am to continue with my trip, so it left me no choice but to stay in this hotel. I was extremely uncomfortable and I wouldn’t even recommend this hotel to a dog.

Very professional staff

not trained well. don't know much. demanded payment for the second one because couldn't find payment from a third party. after calling the manager everything was resolved in seconds.

Great staff great stay

We stayed there two nights. The first night, our TV didn't work, the tub barely drained, the sink was cracked, and there were several stains on the bed cover. They moved us to another room the 2nd night which was better, but still not great. The hallways smelled like smoke, many things in the hallways and elevators were damaged, and there were absolutely no working ice machines in the building.

The hotel was disgusting and broken. However, the staff were amazing and processed our refund right away.

The hotel is being taken over by a Holiday Inn soon apparently. Facilities are bare bones . First room we got had poop on the outlet switch - the staff said sorry people that stay here can be gross?!? Asked for a new room because our door locks did not work at all and were broken . Furniture was scratched and stained . Lobby had one chair and was empty . All the room doors were missing outside trim could see into the rooms through the gaps. The staff immediately tried to make it better and I get they are trying their best with a hotel that should be shut down. Smells musty . Bathroom door knob was busted . Mirrors cloudy dirty . We put a coffee table against the door to feel safe . Outside side entrance door no lock and open to everyone. Elevator smelled like pee. The pictures are not from recent on the website. If we did not have a concert to get to we would have left . Do not book . The staff was kind , I feel bad for the stress they must endure from unhappy guests - they can only do so much

The hotel was close to Batavia Downs Casino where we were seeing a show but that was the only plus. The property was rundown on the outside and much worse inside. Everything felt old, the decor, the carpeting and the room was quite outdated. No safe, no refrigerator, no ashtray for a smoking room, very few outlets and the heater/air conditioner was so loud it sounded like it would break down any minute. The beds were comfortable enough but nothing had a crisp, just cleaned feel to it. the shower curtain had seen better days but the room was reasonably clean. The pictures on your site need updating. It shows A beautiful lobby & reception area-it was a huge room with virtually no furniture or decor. The pictures show a full breakfast in it's own room-the breakfast was laid out next to the reception desk and featured a tray of glazed donuts, oatmeal, cereal & coffee. We went to Denny's instead. If you want to stay near the casino and don't mind reliving another era then this place is for you. Otherwise, fine something that has been updated to this century.

I booked this hotel 2 months in advance as it had a waterpark for our sons birthday and easy access to Darien Lake for the concert. Upon arrival, the reservation was wrong. I requested two rooms side by side, but they gave away the conjoined room to my room to random people. They said because of the concert at Darien Lake there was no extra rooms and wanted half of our party to go to the 4th floor. We asked for a closer room- they had one down the hall... 3 hot corridors with different urine and other smells accumulating the further you went in. Doors were open with holes in walls. There were holes in our bathroom door, air vent ripped off the ceiling & covered in dust. Blood stain on the ground in the haway. Centipede or something equally creepy in one of the beds. My moms sink was broken & toilet wouldnt flush- inconvenient especially when she was babysitting her grandkids for the night. The water park was closed- which was our plan- so we rearranged and left to Darien Lake. Honestly, it was probably for the better. Their breakfast was cereal, muffins, and apples/bananas. Nothing "hot," except the pitcher of orange juice with no ice. Would not recommend to stay, especially with children.

No toilet paper or holder for any in bathroom, phone supplied in room didn’t work to call and request any. When at front desk was just handed 2 rolls for me to carry to room. Also no coffee maker in room but packets of sugar, cream and stir stick. No ice holder or any ice on floor requested some while at desk. 2 hrs later used cell to call desk and request some which was delivered immediately. Ceiling located above shower was water stained, cobwebs and rust. Immediately upon entering room socks became wet from carpet in many spots. Only plus was staff were all very friendly, professional and willing to help. Had water park view from room but windows were so filthy and disgusting made me keep curtains closed. My opinion is not based on staff but management for selling rooms at any cost to turn a $$. Sadly the hotel is huge and it’s a shame guests only find out deplorable conditions after checking in could be a great place with easy access to major roads if not for cutting costs on maintenance and their emphasis on higher bottom dollar . Run down out dated water park seems to be the claim to fame

Nothing was plugged in, in the room. Limited breakfast (not even coffee). Items missing on floor, like chairs, ice machine, vending machines,etc. Tiny bathroom with crappy repairs. Most all elevators were out of service in whole hotel. No dining area or bar in hotel

this is the worst place i have ever booked through expedia. part of the reason i chose this place was the water park. i didnt find out, until after checking in, it was closed on the 3 days i stayed there. they showed pictures of a dining room in the advertisement, but there was none to be found. no restaurant, also advertised, on the property. my room was horrible. one trash can reeked of the stench of a dead animal. i took it to the front office for a new one. that one was used to carry broken shards of glass that were glued together with dried up soda and caked on the bottom. the trash can in the bathroom was also disgusting. it had old trash in the bottom that was also glued to the inside. i went to use the microwave but there was a tim hortons cup stuck to the glass tray inside. the tray was covered with some type of sticky substance (on top and underneath the tray) and appeared that some item had been put inside and burst all over the interior. it was freaking nasty. i didnt dare use the shower and slept on top of the blankets in order to avoid bedbugs. i could keep going, but i'll run out of space. it's a shame that these people are a part of the choice hotel chain. i used to go to their places, but this example was enough to convince me to try other places to stay.

Place is a dump. Dirty, stinky, old. Everything is extremely cheap. The building is old & nasty. Room had water stains all over the ceiling. Latch for the door was hanging off. Hallways smelled like bad food, cigarettes, & feet. The free breakfast is dollar store granola bars & cheap donuts. Don't stay here!
