I didn't like the breakfast options: I went out to buy something at a bakery. I did not like finding out, when I checked out, that I was assessed a $3.79 daily parking charge. The staff at the front desk were unfailingly polite and friendly.

We stay here all of the time however they are doing renovations so it was very noisy and at one point we lost water access due to a leak. I would give it all too scores usually. I wish I had known About the renovations.

Pros: Clean hotel with nice lobby area with lots of tables. I was impressed by their breakfast. Very accessible and quick drive to anything in the city. Cons: Woken up several times by dogs in nearby rooms, no hot tub and the pool wasn't the cleanest. I highly recommend against walking to Byrne Dairy and Deli a couple buildings down, it's a hot mess.

Unfortunately the hotel was being renovated so the lobby and breakfast area was torn up and the breakfast options were limited. The staff were very receptive to our requests.

The property was good except for the fact that the bedding was dirty. I asked for and received new bedding but I had to change myself and it was hard to get the bedding to fit the bed. Also, after complaining the next day, I did not get any feedback from management.

I was surprised to see how dirty the carpets were on each of the floors, especially by the elevators. I have stayed here several times for weekly visits and have never seen it so dirty. Also the breakfast was horrible each day. I had to spend my own money at Dunkin due to the lousy offerings. Breakfast looked like a purge of the day before's food. Even the hard-boiled eggs...the bowl was empty. The best thing about my stay was getting a massage at the business next door. i probably won't stay there next time.

Area was relatively convenient but the room was extremely smelly upon entering. All our large bath towels were wet and smelly and when we asked for replacements we were told we had to wait for an hour to wait for the shift to turn over at the front desk and that they would deliver to our room later at night, which bever happen

The fitted sheet would not stay on the mattress and kept sliding off. Underneath it was a plastic mattress cover and it was very uncomfortable sleeping. You have to request daily housekeeping and all they seemed to do was make the bed. They did not replace the wet towels or clean the bathroom.

We stayed in room 122 room fine for us but I noticed numerous places in the grout in the bathroom that were not filled Water from shower will enter and deteriorate the grout and mold etc could accumulate. Pool not open.

Located on a busy road. Our first night we were right above the highway & didn't sleep at all. I think that room 209 should be a linen closet and not a room for guests. The 2nd night we were moved to room 402 facing the back of the hotel which was a much better sleep but the walls were very thin on that floor and we heard our neighbors up until the time we fell asleep. Overall a nice hotel, but dated. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Check-in was great. Chelsea was friendly and helpful. There was a fruit tray to welcome guests in the lobby. Room was clean and prepared well. Unfortunately I was in a room that faced the street. For some reason, don't know if every street facing room is like this, it sounded like my window was open, as in I could here every car driving by all night. I opened and closed the window twice to make sure. Fan going all night on AC but still needed earplugs and that did ok. If you get a street facing room and are picky about noise, switch to the back for a better chance at a good night sleep. The last thing to say was that their 'dynamic pricing' thats what I was told when I asked why it was so much more. Felt more like a gouge, supply and demand I guess. I stayed in Ithaca 3 weeks prior, July, and prices were fair and average for the motel I chose. I happen to be doing business the week of Cornell move in and the price was more than double. This is not a $550 a night hotel IMO, but I would stay here again, not on the street side, if it was $200 or so.

We had an excellent weekend at the Hampton Inn, Ithaca. We weren't in the hotel much because we were there for the Bomber Swim Invitational. The room was comfortable although interior of room, decor and such, some what dated. The staff was fantastic- check-in, breakfast, check-out, very friendly, kind and helpful. Great complimentary breakfast!

The price we paid was not reflected in the quality of the accommodation. The pillows were lumpy and the bed needed to be replaced. The pool was not open and we were not informed of this prior to booking. The room was not thoroughly clean, a previous guests shirt was in the closet when we arrived.

When we booked our room it was advertised as 2 Queen beds, they were definitely not Queens but we’re double beds, so we ee ended up sleeping in 2 separate beds. A King room wasn’t available so that’s why we opted for a Queen room. I think we should be somewhat compensated for this. The rest of our stay was quite good.

We called and told them that we would be getting in the early morning and they said no problem, we were all set, but when we arrived, they had given our room away. We ended up at the Canopy Hilton and loved them so much, but we still need to be refunded our payment to Hampton Inn Ithaca. They were very unprofessional, and even though we have called the manager, she has not called us back. This treatment is unacceptable!

Check-in was two hours late because the rooms weren’t ready yet. It was dirty. Our room door was very difficult to open and close. At breakfast, there was no coffee, no plates, no forks, and no cups or lids. When I mentioned this to the person responsible, she snapped that I should see the manager. Overall very bad experience. I think I’m done with Hampton Inns.

They could not find the reservation from Expedia so we had to spend an hour trying to find the reservation number for the hotel. Phone support at expedia was useless. Kept getting cut off from people who didn't sound like they really worked at a real company. We had to pay for a room a second time. Finally after being in our room for a couple of hours we found the reservation number. Thankfully the hotel refunded our second payment. I'll never use expedia again!!!!!!

The staff was very friendly. When we checked in we needed a couple of things and they got right on it for us. The two workers at breakfast took time to talk with my kids and help them. The property was extremely clean and they had a worker cleaning at all times.

Everything was clean and comfortable. It’s nice to have the breakfast tables to use in the evenings for playing cards with 4 of us. You do need to drive to get to downtown area, but it is a short drive.

From checkin to checkout, I felt very well cared for. I will say, the hotel is a few miles from Ithaca Commons, so if you wanted Cornell and Ithaca experiences, you might look a bit closer to town. But if you're looking for a good, quiet business hotel, this is it! When I'm back in Ithaca, I'll be in this hotel.

This is a typical Hampton Inn. It was clean. The room was sufficient, as expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice; my boys and I enjoyed it. There were limited options near the front desk for purchase - a bag of chips or pop. It was located close to strip mall shopping areas and restaurants, not far from Wegman's, downtown Ithaca or Cornell. Free wifi of course. There was a small parking charge which I was not aware of until I got the bill. Honestly the worst thing was my teenager driving us nuts by pestering his little brother. That's no fault of the hotel. The free breakfast was worth about nothing too, as they usually are. I'd rather have an egg mcmuffin and coffee from McDonald's.

This hotel was very clean, the rooms large and the included breakfast plentiful. The area where you ate breakfast clean, too. There was construction going on at the entrance but this caused little upset and I'm sure it'll look nice once complete. The only downside to our stay was the folks who were extremely loud for quite some time going in and out of rooms and speaking with loud voices at 6 am. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Anite at the front desk was great. She answered all my questions and my pup got treats. The hotel was perfect for me. My room was on the first floor right near the door to walk my dog easily. The free breakfast was the best I’ve had in any hotel. All staff were friendly and knowledgable.
