The renovation gives it a nice modern look. We booked an accessible room. The room was large but not what would be considered accessible. The bathroom was approx. 5’x7’. The door would hit anyone standing at the sink. Not wheelchair friendly and lighting was nill. The bed looked nice but we found to be very firm. It does have a wine fridge and microwave in the room. Navigating the hotel halls can be an adventure as the signage is misleading and not all rooms are in numerical order. The Champs Gaming was ok, we had issues with machines not working but the staff was great about crediting back quickly. The on site bar was a let down the bartender though nice was inattentive and seemed to lack standard drink knowledge. Also they did not have, Jack, Knob Creek, Makers, Crown and several other spirits that I find to be generally common. The bartender just said they were out so either someone’s really bad at doing their liquor order seeing these come by the case, or. There were no empty spots visible for additional bottles to go. Gym was very nice however the saunas are in each respective locker room so if you’re looking to relax with someone special unless they are the same sex it’s not a possibility. Some pictures of the property showed a regular pool & hot tub, neither are actually on the property. There is only the mini waterpark, which looks cool but opens at 4 and closes at 9, in between loaded with kids. Perkins onsite it’s eh. Overall ok but probably won’t be returning.

Elevator didn't work. Couldn't find stairs to leave. Finally found an exit in the back and had to haul all of my stuff around the hotel to get to my car. Restaurant smelled awful (bar, not the family one).

If you are planning to visit the water park, be prepared for a rather uncomfortable experience. The chlorine levels are exceptionally high, which can cause your eyes to burn, even if you're not in the water. You’ll notice noticeable buildup on the sides of the pool, and it’s hard to ignore the hair caught in the drains. Additionally, the hallways are cluttered with wrappers and other debris left behind by children, which can detract from the overall cleanliness of the place. During our stay, we also discovered that the gym was closed, much to our disappointment. The mini-golf course was smaller than expected and not particularly engaging. Furthermore, it seemed like the entire hotel, including the golf facilities and arcade, was primarily staffed by teenagers, which might lack the level of professionalism some guests may expect. To make matters worse, when we entered our room, we found leftover food on the floor, indicating that it had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. Overall, our experience could have been significantly better, as the facility's management and maintenance seemed to fall short.

THE POOL IS OPEN!!! I booked through Expedia and they sent me an email saying it wasn't. They had some issues that requires a remodel and that is why that email was sent. The splash park is INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY!!!! the arcade is right in the building TWO FLOORS!!!!! Perkins is also connected to the building! The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable about the area as well. There is a HUGE gym and both men and women's saunas. It was an amazing experience!!!

We had booked another local hotel that turned out to be a nightmare. We were lucky to get a room at Comfort Inn at nearly 8 pm on a Friday. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable. The property had everything and then some that a family could want. There was three floors of arcades, a small water park and a brewery on site. Very cool experience.

This place needs a serious overhaul. It's no longer what it once was. Room was dirty in bathroom, particularly the ceiling had some strange orange matter in multiple areas. The halls were abnoxiously loud at all hours. Front desk check in was sub par. Young kid with street clothes and a backwards baseball cap greeting guests. No information given regarding where our room was, no explanation of breakfast service, etc. Lastly, the pool area is completely unsafe. My 9 year old niece asked for this overnight stay for her birthday present so she could go swim. That lasted all of 20 minutes before she was badly cut by a pool vent in the bottom of the pool. She received a deep moon shaped cut about the size of a nickel on her big toe. When brought to lifeguards attention, Lifeguard stated "yeah, this has been happening a lot." What!? No child should be getting cut, period. They were hesitant to fill out an accident report as well. To which was a joke of a form that said " Boo Boo Report" at the top, and didn't even ask for said childs name. Do better! I'll spend my money elsewhere next time.

Hotel is in major commercial area. Under amenities, they listed a water park. In reality, is was two small pools in a room, that were closed for cleaning. They also list a brewing company. Well the brewery was closed, the bar was open with a very limited menu. On the plus side it was very clean, beds were nice and our room had a nice shower.

One of the grossest hotels I've stayed at in a longtime. Went for the kids and there was a lot for them to do, but you have to get past the lack of cleanliness. From the pool area to the room, just yuck. Bed sheets seemed clean enough but smelled of strong cleaning supplies (like bleach), so at least we felt good about that. There are restaurants on-site (don't even have to leave the building), but they're not great. Good for kids, not so much for adults. Will try another hotel next time we're in town.

This was our fourth time staying at this hotel. We bring our kids and make a weekend out of the little water area and arcade. The hotel has never been amazing, rooms are a bit dusty, facilities could use a little updating, but it has been comfortable, convenient, and easy for small children to enjoy. This time, however, the room was dirty, food crusted to and down the night stand, hairs in the tub, food and dirt on the carpet like it hadn't been vacuumed, room smelled stale like old refrigerator, faucet in bedroom area had food all over the handle, the headboard, clock, lamps, etc were all very dusty. The arcade was very dirty, specifically ballocity. It looked like it had never been swept, just dust, dirt, and garbage everywhere. The tables and counters in the breakfast area were all dirty. We were very disappointed as cleanliness is something we really value and may stop us from continuing our tradition of enjoying this hotel and all of the fun things it has to offer.

Room was filthy, sheets in first room were obviously dirty, room smelled bad. Moved to second room- smelled better, sheets stained, mold and dust everywhere. Tub did not drain, ring around tub, could see toothpaste and water marks from past guests in sink. Front desk staff was rude and unhelpful- would actually hide. Should be shut down by health department.

Bathroom had poop on the wall, when I pulled covers back found long black hairs in the bed! Hallways and room wreaked of cigarette smoke! Room overall was dirty! One of the worst comfort inns I’ve stayed at!

Rooms are dated and not very clean. Webs and spiders nests along the crown mouldings in the rooms. The walls and doors should at least be wiped down as they are dirty. The carpet was awful. Socks became black and soiled as though we walked Through oil. Very disappointed as It was out 4th time there and always loved it, but definitely our last. The bathroom borders and walls have not Been wiped down in a long time … very dirty! Entrance doors and windows are not Clean. First impression is not a good one. Pool Was great

We liked that they had water activities and an arcade. But the overall cleanliness of the hotel was lacking at so many points We booked 2 nights hut I couldnt stay the second night the room was too dirty It had stains everywhere on the bed sheets, im sure the comforter was not even washed The bathroom was disgusting, I didnt give my kids a bath we held them in the shower I really don’t understand how this can happen Cleanliness is the one top priority a hotel should have im very disappointed

We really enjoyed that there was stuff for our son to do. There is an arcade and pool area. The location was very convenient, and the size of the room was great. Although the rooms were very outdated. Bathrooms need upgrading, some new paint. The Wi-Fi did not work. While we were there for 2 nights we had to go and have our key for the room fixed multiple times (kept locking us out). The floors in the hallway need cleaning.

The room was very spacious, however, the closet door wouldn't even open because the bottom of the door scraped the floor way too tight. The wallpaper next to the bed was peeling off and everywhere you looked, through the whole building, it seemed to need paint touch ups as their were marks on every single door, elevator walls, etc. The bed also creaked just awful, but we were so tired, we hardly moved all night, thank goodness! Good breakfast, nice people, but wouldn't stay here again.

It is nice that everything is right there. The pool use to be open all day but it is not open till 4 pm. The arcade area was good. Kids had a lot of fun. The loved lazer tag. The poor guy closing though need a a second person. Our room was ok. One bed was sunken in and if you moved it was so loud it would wake aomeone. The hotel itself is dog friendly but there is no place to put dog waste anywhere. Not a single garbage can outside. It alao looks like no one picks up afterwards because of this.

Place needs a remodel. Halls are winding and rooms smell like smoke. All the rooms have flaky paint on the ceilings and warped floors. This hotel is a disgrace from what it used to be. Do not go here unless you’re out of options. We lived in the community for two decades and this hotel had a huge fire and the remodeling crew should be ashamed.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times and have never had any issues. However this most recent trip the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and felt like it was just a sheet covering metal springs. (Again, have stayed here before and have never had any issues, just seems like the mattress in room 256 needs a new mattress)

Waterpark is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Very limited hours. We booked for this exact reason and weren’t even able to use the pool at all. Terrible customer service from the front desk. No communication on this matter. Major attitude when I called to complain. Front desk worker actually hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. I’ll be booking at another hotel next time I come to Plattsburgh. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. property is also very dirty and the hotel layout feels completely unsafe and maze-like. In case of emergency I would not feel confident at all navigating through those halls.

Check-in time was at 4:00 and not 3:00 as listed on Expedia. Check out was not adjusted to 12:00 for the hour difference so we still had to vacate the room at 11:00. Room charge was charged at full stay. The best thing about the hotel is the location which is by a large commercial area. Lots of food and shopping options within walking distance.

We have stayed at this property several times and it never disappoints. It’s a very clean safe hotel. Friday night is always noisy with kids (I don’t know why parents allow kids to scream through out the hotel. It’s every time) other than that it’s a great safe clean hotel. Don’t let the kids discourage you from staying. It’s very affordable. It is also very conveniently located off the highway, around lots of stores and restaurants.

The location is great, near to the attentions and stores/restaurants. The water park is a plus. The bump cars were not open which is a disappoint. Breakfast was decent and coffee was available all day long.

The bed was a death trap. Both of us woke up barely able to move. The breakfast was scarce, no fruit. The breakfast room was dirty, shoes sticking to the floor as you walk, no one washing the tables or counters. Sporks were provided. Anyone ever try to eat a waffle with a spork? Food not restocked - eggs, yogurt, fruit, syrup- people in search of the person who should be doing that. Staff does not seem at all happy, said good morning to a few people and was ignored. Microwave and fridge in room but no forks, napkins etc.

We were not expecting the water park to have such limited hours. We paid for early check in to get in before 4 PM, and the water park closes on Sundays at 6:00. That was disappointing. It is nice to have two restaurants in the hotel, but they can close early due to inclement weather, so be prepared to go out if this happens.
