Convenient hotel if needing to be in Beachwood. Large room with separate living, dining and kitchen area. Two TVs good. Not a fan of pillows that are so soft they disappear. Breakfast ok. Not a lot of selection but included in cost. Free parking. Nice outdoor pool area. Able to do laundry which was a plus. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We had a very relaxing time at the hotel. Our check in was extremely efficient and pleasant. We were able to check in early with our room ready within mimutes of our arrival. The lobby is very comfortable and set up for ease of receiving deliveries and guests The outdoor pool area is very well maintained and welcoming for get togethers with fire pits around the pool site. Overall, this hotel is a great place for a short or longer stay in the Cleveland area.

I was excited about the pool and Jacuzzi, but they are both outside, and was closed. All of our doors were difficult to open and close. The food in the morning was delicious, but the coffee was bad and the milk was expired. The people we met there were the best part.

Staff at this hotel is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I think the free breakfast is nice and great they have oatmeal. The coffee is excellent. I was disappointed this stay by the area around the pool not being as clean as past stays, and that some guests were smoking cigars in the pool area which is not allowed. As a single guest, I am uncomfortable confronting smokers so I wish the area was monitored a little more by staff. I did have to call the front desk one night at 11 pm to request that guests in the pool area by fire pits be more quiet as they were very loud and my room was close to the pool. Joey did take care of this. Workout room is nice. Cleaning and facilities staff are so kind and accommodating. I choose to stay at this hotel when I come to Cleveland.

The room needed improvement and a thorough cleaning, for the most part it was clean however there were parts missing from toilet seat calcium build up in the shower and dirty shower floors . The second bathroom had rust on the bottom of the tub . The top latch lock was broken to the main door . The oven in the kitchen was very dirty and looks to be never cleaned inside . There weren’t any plastic cups one very small bar of hand soap in each bathroom…

NOT Clean Floors/Carpet needs Vacuum and clean. The Trash Cans on the main floor where Continental Breakfast is held needs to be wiped. The Covers on the Bed had some spots and should have not been placed on the beds. We have to do better.

Front desk guy was great! Asked for one thing and was denied due to several others asking (which has NOTHING to do with me or the money I paid to stay there.). Blood stain on the mattress (absolutely disgusting), hair on bed pad and in the shower. The only good thing was the room layout.

We were very disappointed with the condition of our two bedroom suite. It was dirty, the sheets and pillows had stains, and the pull out couch was unusable. We came in lat from a hockey tournament and just wanted to get some rest, but the process took longer than anticipated dues to having to get an extra room (at least it was on the house). We didn't realize that the Residence Inn was actually a "residence" for people. I figured that the area it was located it would have been a good choice to stay. It wasn't. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, beyond that, I can't find a reason to recommend this property.

I am a clean freak, especially about hotels. This did not feel like a hotel stay, the room was clean and spacious, the studio room were perfect for our weekend trip and we will definitely be looking for more residence inn/marriotts to stay in. Area seemed safe and was in reasonable driving distance to downtown. Looking forward to our next stay.

It was fine. The primary bed is very comfortable. The shower is a bit outdated but nice water pressure. The pull out bed is unusable. The springs are right at the surface. We were hoping to have too beds and only ended up with one usable one for the three of us.

Not great. Hotel is older and a bit rundown for the area. Wasn’t the worst but upon entering the ac was broken. T turned out to be a known issue and yet I was still given the room. The front desk and maintenance team rectified it and the maintenance man swapped the unit for us so it did get resolved but was a bit disappointing that I even came into that situation since I had booked the most expensive room option. Turns out the unit was frozen so it was unplugged and never plugged back in. Why that wasn’t fixed before booking/ checking in guest was a bit of an issue I will say that the front desk was responsive and the maintenance team responded very quick and changed the unit out which only took about an hour of our evening.

It’s not a bad value and the staff is very friendly and helpful, but the facility is starting to show its age. The desk in our room was on the verge of collapse (the top bowed like a potato chip) and the blinds would not close — they were caught on the back of the desk. The mirror over the sink was peeling off top and bottom. Perhaps a bit better maintenance would be in order.

Location was good for our purposes and the sweet we booked was large enough to give us privacy and space. Those are the good points. The room itself, however, was in serious need of renovation. Furniture was chipped and stained, the carpet was booking and you could tell where a big patch had been replaced because the edges were frying. Carpet was also thread bearing places. The hotel itself is tired and needs a complete redo and modernization.

When i got there, they couldn't find my reservation. They had my name spelled wrong. The young lady that was at the desk was very helpful and courteous. She helped with calling hotels. Com and got the reservation number and got everything straighten out. The hospitality industry needs more young ladies like her. I believe that her name was Asia.

The room had no towels. I’ve never stayed at a hotel were the hotel actually has a notice in the room encouraging you to reuse the same towel during your stay. There were no clean or dry towels available at the front desk at check-in. Some of the staff displayed unwelcoming and unapproachable customer service.

I booked this property for three nights because Expedia listed it as "excellent". Although it was very clean, there are areas and items which were worn, aged, and shabby. When I went to check in, there was no one at the desk and I waited 10 minutes for the clerk to return.

This was a very great experience! I thought the studio room would be small but it was nice and roomy and I didn’t feel confined. My room happened to be close to everything (laundry room, pool/outdoor area, and fitness center) so I got lucky. The room was very clean. The front desk staff was phenomenal (esp the lady whose name began with a V). The free breakfast wasn’t continental, it was real breakfast! This place was awesome and I would visit again and highly recommend! I had a studio with a kitchen that included eating utensils, drinking glasses, plates and pots and pans. I was there because of an unfortunate incident that happened to me and the staff made me feel welcomed and safe. Thank you so much!!!

One of the finest staff i have come across It snowed at night and my car was frosted in the morning. I asked devon(i think that was his name) a gentlemen who worked there if he had a scrapper. He replied yes and got one. Instead of givong it to me he cleaned and scraped the frost of my car himself. Simcerely thankful for an amazing stay! Will surely come back

The Residence Inn Beachwood is very clean, accessible to many local attractions (restaurants, shopping, museums), and customer-friendly. The only negative was that, because they are short-staffed, our room was never cleaned during our four-day stay. Towels were replenished upon request, and staff were very professional. Room/suite had good amenities, but shower was tub/shower, not walk-in as depicted online. Otherwise, a comfortable and convenient hotel.

The property is in a convenient and quiet location in Beachwood approximately 2 minutes from the freeway. If you are not from that area there are various locations nearby where you can dine - some within 5-10 minutes of the property. Breakfast was not too pleasing so we ended up going to the grocery store that was also 5 minutes away. When getting your suite cleaned you have to be specific or all they will do is make the beds. As far as bedding it was okay but the comforter wasn’t really a comforter but a thicker bedsheet. So be prepared to ask for additional bedding if it’s not in the room. If it’s summertime the building will be humid for sure. The handle to enter our suite was loose and we were very surprised that it had not been fixed prior to our stay or even when housekeeping came. The rooms have very thick walls and doors so even if someone in another suite is loud or having a family gathering you won’t hear it in your room and the noise won’t carry but so far down the hallway. Staff was VERY respectful and pleasant. However, one day someone from housekeeping and houseman were having a disagreement in the hallway.

Housekeeping ran out of soap so there was no bar soap to use at the sink. Breakfast had labels for several items with nothing in those areas, a rather dim display. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and the facility was clean. The lack of supplies results in my lower rating overall.

I reserved and paid for a fireplace. I did not get one. The hotel refused to refund me. The breakfast buffet ran our of oatmeal. I asked the cook if she could put out more. She did and closed and locked the doors in my face.

Room layout was nice and it was a comfortable stay. Breakfast wasn't as extensive as I usually find at Residence Inn. In addition, on one day during our stay, the breakfast buffet opening was delayed by almost one hour.

Employees were very friendly, the facility was clean, the beds were comfortable and convenient location next to the highway. The only thing I wish hotels would do is have their breakfast end around 10 AM instead of 9 AM. When you’re on vacation it’s nice to sleep in a bit :) Overall good hotel. Thanks!
