I would avoid this property unless you do not have another choice. The only Pros are that is in a good location, it is pet friendly and is affordable. We stayed here for a few days when we lost power and maybe since the property was overbooked that made it worse than normal? The rooms were outdated, and staff was rude. Upon checking in our room was lacking the basic amenities: only 1 pillow between 2 beds, and missing blankets, no toilet paper, and no shower curtain or towels at all. No soaps or shampoos were provided either. When we asked the front desk for toilet paper we were only given 1 roll and told to ask again the next day (we had booked this place for 5 days). AC did not work well. There is no pool and no ice machines. the kitchen area is nice to have but was filthy. Also the breakfast is only prepackaged muffins, granola bars, and coffee. I would not stay here again.

When I got off the only working elevator on the third floor I walked into a construction zone. The hallway had an oily smell like a machine shop. If all the local hotels weren’t booked because of the solar eclipse, I would have left and found a different hotel. I cut my visit short by a day and checked out early. Unless you want to stay at an active construction site, I would find another option.

There was no shower curtain, no hair dryer, no stopper in the sink. The air conditioner was not working properly. Went to get a coffee and there was none. Expensive stay. Would not recommend this place.

The hotel had everything i needed in a suite. It was an older hotel but was comfortable and very clean. The staff was excellent. The other occupants were nice. The gym is awaiting new equipment. I would stay here again.

For the price, I would have expected few amenities, but at least a clean and functional room. What we got was few amenities, and a dirty and mostly functional room. The good: It’s cheap. The HVAC worked. The TV worked (once we figured out to hold the batteries in the remote). The hot water worked. The elliptical trainer in the exercise room worked. There were no bugs in the bed. Staff we dealt with were generally polite and helpful. And it was near where we needed to be. The bad: The carpet was so filthy my wife refused to walk on it barefoot. The microwave had dark clumps of old food in the corners. One bedside lamp looked like someone had fallen on it. Another lamp was burned out. The light in the toilet/shower area was incredibly dim. The kitchen counters were greasy. The insides of the lamps and the bases of the lamp sconces looked like they hadn’t been dusted since they were installed. There were no privacy curtains in our first-floor room, so our only choices were blackout or exhibitionism. The exercise room had no wipes (we ended up buying some for that and for the room). There were no hand towels provided. Overall, not a great time.

Elevator was down 3 days of are stay, had 2 handicap people, had to leave a day early because I couldn’t get a wheelchair to the 3rd floor. Staff was great, they need more help to be able to do there jobs properly.

The hotel was in disrepair, the lobby was dank only 1 elevator was working there were appliances and cabinets in the hall their was a smell of cat/animal urine as well the room was dusty and dirty i had to clean the bathroom was counter was falling apart the sinks were dirty the tub was dirty the toilet was dirtythe kitchenette was dirty and the cabinets were hanging off hinges the tv desk chairs and dresser were dusty the floord were decent the stove top was rusted i didnot even open the refrigerator and there was no glasses plates or flatware in the room luckily the bedding was clean i still covered with my own sheets i dont think ill stay here again and would not recommend

Check in was at 3:00. We waited for 2 hours for our room to be ready. They said they were short staffed. We finally got in at 5:00 and the room was filthy. Hair in tub and sink. Toothpaste splattered all over sink and mirror. Crumbs on the floor

The hotel was dirty, the room was dirty had hair in the tub, and rings of dirt around it as well. There was sticky stuff in the drawer. And bodily fluid stains on the pull out mattress.

Them white bedsheets were terrible. They had urine stains, blood stains just disgusting. I didn’t even wait for checkout time. We got a little bit of sleep and left.

Experience was aweful. Was booked into a filthy room. Dusy furniture, vents, trash, empty bottles, crackers, chips, cheetoes, condom wrapers, toys, balloon with water under beds. Grease covered tange vent, freezer has melted chocolate ice cream or dried blood from meat. Floors black w dirt. No shower curtain. Toilet seat loose, sliding when sitting.Closet shelf broken. Sink dirty. Def health risk. Asked mngt 2 move me or clean my room. Waited 2 days, offered refund, not but my card was charged full cost at checkout. Referred to GM. Several attempts to resolve issue to no avail.

Good location for the price condition of the walls made it look pretty run down, other than that I recommend it for a nice place to stay when visiting downtown as it’s not a bad commute

It could use some updates. The bathroom door was dirty and it was a smokey floor and I don't smoke. I didn't see any extra blankets for it got a little colder into the nite. And it looked like a burn on the toilet seat and I was supposed to be in a non-smoking room .

The staff was nice. It looks fine from the outside and the lobby, but then you walk down the dirty (at times smoky), dark, noisy hallway to your room. Had I experienced the hall first I may have canceled. 6am everyday pipe knocking woke me up. I could hear conversations in the hall most times that I was awake. I think several people live there which I guess is what an extended stay can be for but they were very comfortable and had a gathering in their room(s) and left the door open so it carried down the hall. Hasn’t been updated and doesn’t have any modern sound proofing.

My stay was absolutely everything that I wanted it to be despite the renovations that are taking place within the facility. The service was still amazing. There was great customer service from the front desks to the housekeeping staff. I am visiting from california and I already have a made up mind that when I return to cleveland this is where I'll stay

The staff member who checked us in was horrible. Her attitude and the way she talked to us was very rude. Especially because we came to her with kindness and never once spoke to her wrong. She slammed my ID back down and pushed it toward me and then when I called for cups she hung up on me Immediately after telling us to come down and get them.

Customer service at check in was extremely rude. No toilet paper in a “clean” room that had burnt food on counters, and 1 towel for a 2 person booked room. Check in was late, but had all day very disappointing. Will NEVER use extended stay again. I was only there 1 night, 11pm- 11am. Oh, states breakfast, but no creamer available for coffee and muffins. Again, very disappointing!

I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone especially with kids and family. First of all the checkin process was horrible, with kids we have to wait for an hour. Once checkin was done, we got room on 3rd floor but the suspense was awaiting for us. They had broken lift, with luggage’s and elderly parents it was not safe to walk through the stairs as they went through major surgery 2 years back. On top of that staff we unpleasant.

We arrived at the hotel after a 7 hour drive to check in before a concert. We were told they didn't have the reservation and were full, couldn't offer us a room, even though I had multiple confirmations of the reservation. I was immediately told to call the booking agent. The booking agent said the hotel made the mistake. Regardless, my 2 daughters and I had no place to stay, i missed part of the concert with them trying to fix the problem. Ultimately, i had to fix the problem on my own. The kid working at the front desk was extremely polite and made any suggestions he could. He was the only thing close to a positive about the entire experience.

I've been to the Extended Stay America in Beachwood three times this year, trading off its poor quality for its low rate. But this stay was the last straw. I booked for two nights. When I checked in, the overworked front desk staff - as usual - was out doing laundry or cleaning rooms or something, so there was a wait involved in checking in. Location is great as I am a travel nurse with temp assignment at Ahuja Hospital. Close to eateries, Starbuck's and hospital - all 5 to 10 min away. Staff hellpful and pleasent. Room is clean and comfortable.

I love taking bubble baths. So I brought my own sanitizing wipes to clean out the bathtub. Other than cleaning bacteria, the tub was spotless. My wipes were perfectly white as I cleaned the bathtub. The bathroom was spotless! There were no bedbugs on the bed. I brought my spray just in case. Remember to stay at the NORTH ES on Orange Place do not stay at the south one on the same street. this one is corporate owned. There is a difference. Location is perfect for going to Browns events it’s fine!

The room floor was filthy to the point where we had to wear footwear while in the room. When we walked barefoot, the bottoms of our feet were black from the hard, uncarpeted floors. The floors had not recently been mopped. The management personnel would not address our request for partial compensation due to it being booked through a third party (Expedia). Also, the hotel listing was advertised as breakfast included, but that consisted of coffee and breakfast bars/muffins only. We spent every morning needing to go elsewhere for breakfast.

We booked a room with two queen beds and received a room with two full size beds. They could not move us, and we had to ask for a partial refund. The hotel description said that breakfast was included. This was very misleading because their idea of breakfast was individually wrapped muffins, granola bars, and coffee. Overall, I had a great experience here. My room was spacious and mostly comfortable. I could do without the burn marks on the toilet seat. I did hear neighbors talking and smelled plenty of weed inside and outside of the property, but I suspect that's just life in 2024. Breakfasts consists of coffee, a bran bar and/or a muffin. Do not expect anything exciting for breakfast, but they had told me that up front.

The room was in good condition. The staff was nice, but I was uninformed that the whole facility was under renovation. Just inconvenient at the time there should’ve been a discounted price for the inconvenience, but it is a nice place and will be very nice once it’s done.
