overall Im conflicted about my stay. breakfast was great, and also they do a dinner Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, which was a great perk. but the housekeeping while even light was not great, we had to go down to the front desk multiple times for things that should have been replenished. staff in general were just not friendly. the room when first go in seems clean but if you look closer especially in the kitchen it’s definitely not as clean as it should be. the mattress also dipped and sank, so was not the best. i loved the location as it was so close for college drop off and was quiet. pool was great. other than the broken ladder. not sure i would stay again.

Bought my family of 6 here for 2 nights to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday! All he wanted to do was swim! The hotel exceeded expectations! The room was clean and spacious and it was nice and quiet. The kids had a great time in the pool and made lots of friends with other hotel guests! They offer free breakfast and dinner. The dinner wasn’t that great BUT a nice gesture and it was easy to get the kids to run in from the pool and eat quickly. Overall great experience and look forward to returning!!

We stayed here back in April and the stay was great. This stay was just okay. My biggest concern I have is the room we stayed in which was room 101. It had a lot of water damage in the bathroom and in the kitchen and also mold as well. The carpet aligned from the kitchen to the sitting area was completely ripped from the floor. My child kept stepping on something that kept poking him in his foot. Both of my children are immune compromised and the mold from the bathroom and the kitchen was not a good mix for my child who has asthma. Another thing is as soon as you walk in the room you can feel the dampness like it's a breeding ground for mold and other hazardous things to grow. For the most part the food was good but if you are very picky with meat you have to ask the kitchen if they have any other meat besides beef and pork and they will make it for you. It should be more of a variety of meats especially when people come from out of state to visit it should be a questionnaire to fill out through an app or even through text to let the staff know that these types of foods should be offered on these days. Also one of the side doors doesn't close correctly so someone could definitely get in without a key card. Some of the staff seemed a little irritated for whatever reason maybe. I feel some changes could be made to make the place feel a little bit more cleaner like dehumidifiers and even housekeeping doing a more thorough job of cleaning the rooms.

Don’t stay here! We got there Sunday afternoon and I think there was a block party going on at the hotel. At least 60+people at the pool area (pool outside) grilling swimming.. no room for anyone else. First night room was cool. Second night room temp wouldn’t go below 74 even though we were told to set it at 65. Screaming and yelling in room next to us until 4:00am. Wouldn’t go back if they gave me free rooms. Don’t go!

Loved the complementary social hours, big breakfast, super comfy bed. Everyone we had contact with was super nice. the only negative we could find, when we arrived the elevator was not working so we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with our luggage but by the time we arrived back that evening it was fixed.

My day job is “Grounds Keeper” for apartment communities. I have heightened awareness of trash around the grounds. I know the weather has not been friendly in north Ohio, but the grounds and parking lots was really trashy.

Staff very nice. Hotel very clean. Only disappointment was the phone operator which was probably not from the hotel ssid the pool opened May1st and it was not opened. The description said the pool was outdoor and heated and my husband was in Ohio for a conference. I was looking forward to swimming and sunning by the pool. Sadly that didn’t happen. Breakfast plentiful and clean and they offered evening options Monday-Wednesday. Very satisfied

The property offer 2 or 3 gas grills for use, an outside pool and baskball court in addition to other amenities. It was located just far enough off the highway surrounded by beautiful homes. I'd stay again.

WELL I GREW UP IN MAYFIELD HTS. AND WHEN I GO IN TO SEE FAMILY AND FRIENDS IT'S VERY CONVENIENT TO STAY HERE. HOWEVER, FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS IT HAS REALLY GONE DOWN HILL WHICH IS UNFORTUNATE BECAUSE WE REALLY LIKED STAYING THERE BUT I DON'T THINK WE WILL BE BACK. WE BOOKED A ROOM WITH A SEPERATE BEDROOM AND FOR WHATEVER REASON THEY GAVE US A TWO BEDROOM TWO BATH, NO BIG DEAL. THE ONE BEDROOM HAD A TOILET THAT WOULD NOT FILL TO FLUSH IT AND THE WATER JUST CONTINUALLY RAN SO I SHUT THE WATER OFF TO IT. WE DECIDED TO JUST STAY IN THE OTHER BEDROOM AND THE TOILET IN THERE WAS RUNNING THROUGH IT AND WOULD FILL BACK UP EVERY COUPLE MINUTES. THE ROOM KEYES WOULD NOT WORK AT ANY OUTSIDE DOORS AND GETTING IN THE ROOM WAS A CHANCE THE KEY WOULD WORK. WE WERE THERE 3 DAYS AND HAD TO CHANGE OUR KEYES 3-4 TIMES. YOU COULDN'T GET INTO THE DOOR OUTSIDE WHERE WE PARKED BECAUSE IT LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE TO A CROWBAR TO THE LOCK AND IT WAS HANGING ON THE DOOR PUTTING IT OUT OF COMMISSION. THE BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE AND FRON DESK HAD ONE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL WOMEN AND ANOTHER THAT JUST WAS SITTING THERE FOR A CHECK.

Someone needs to train the housekeeping staff how to clean behind the doors in the bathrooms + other areas. Obviously, no one inspects their work. Stayed there both times now for a total of six nights and the poor housekeeping is the reason why I'm not returning. Breakfast bar was nice.

In my room, the floors that were not carpeted were sticky, and had dirt on them. Water pressure in the shower was extremely low, and there were dried substances on the walls (in the room and in the hallways). The breakfast was substandard, with most of the hot offerings being cold and the French toast being hard and stale. The floors, seating and tables were dirty and sticky, and when "cleaned" by the cleaning lady, remained dirty. For the money I paid to stay here, I was very unimpressed. Won't stay here again.

Lovely clean hotel.

The property is beat up, cleanliness is at a low standard. I asked for a reduced bill because of it but because I had gone trough Expedia they had no opportunity to reduce my room rate. They were very kind but the rooms were very dirty, food on floors, not clean, furniture with stains and cabinets filthy.

This hotel is a great location for us to be close to our family. We have stayed here a few times. we appreciate the easy parking, the 2 bedroom suite and the above friendly staff that brought us extra blankets, roll-away, etc. Unfortunately, this visit was not quite the same as in the past. First of all, this is a pet friendly hotel. We noticed fleas in our room sadly. Secondly, the breakfast was wonderful but the tables were not cleaned between guests. Sticky syrup abound. Our curtain was coming down in the room. We also has a raging party across the hall from us. The staff did address this quickly and efficiently. The front desk was lovely and friendly.

Very quiet and clean hotel with the kind of suite we wanted. The free breakfast was very nice, with some choices beyond the usual ones. All in all, an excellent night's stay.

It is a pet friendly location which means that it's not allergy friendly AT ALL. In fact, if you have allergies, STAY AWAY. They do not vacuum or clean thoroughly whether it's your room or the common areas. Pet hair is EVERYWHERE. Ugh.d

My daughter slept in the room with the two beds and saw a live bed bug in her bed sheet after she checked why she was itching in her thigh. The kingsize bed in the other bedroom where I slept was soft and sagging in the middle where my main body weight is that I woke up with body ache. The microwave door is coming apart/broken. There is no tv remote in the living room. Somebody from the staff knocked at the door at 9:30 a.m. and asked if we are not leaving yet. As I know, check out is at 11am. We checked-in late at midnight and very tired from the long drive and just wanted a good night rest. So disappointed.

Staff was super nice, welcoming. The gentleman who checked me offered options on where my room could be (30s, ponytail). The gentleman who tooo my key the next day, tall, dark complexion, was also very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean, if dated with old TVs and carpet.

The suite was nice and comfortable for three. The staff were very personable and professional. The front desk staff member, Zee, was especially helpful and sincere when upon checkout I let her know about the kitchen sink not draining properly and an issue with the dishwasher. She apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused and immediately credited my bill for the issue.

Needs some updating in some areas. Fixtures in the bathroom, paint, etc. Room clean, bathrooms clean. Great for our family of 6

My hotel room door had a gap where others could look directly into my room. It’s was very unnerving and I was worried about security but I did not raise the issue because I was only there two nights and you could not see too much into the room from the outside.

It was overall a nice stay. The pullout couch mattress was awful though-VERY uncomfortable and covered with icky stains. There was no light in the kitchette, so it was dark to work in-but really nice that there was a kitchen space! They had limited options as far as food for those with allergies and they were not aware of or knowledgeable about food allergies. It was nice though that breakfast was provided-everyone else was able to eat and enjoy!

Floor definitely hadn’t been swept in a while. Could actually see the dirt. Also, carpet had a candy stain that got on the wheel of my suitcase and several M&Ms on the floor. Shower was stained and could just be overall cleaner. Bottom skirt on the bed appeared to have multiple stains. Pull out bed/couch was torn up and dirty. Apparently you can’t get your room cleaned without giving 24 hour notice. I was not made aware that they don’t clean the room without “reserving” it in advance, so the floor remained dirty for my stay. Also, I’m not sure who doesn’t use clean towels everyday, but it’s not me. I paid $200 a night, which was way too much for the quality and cleanliness of the room. So…the pros: it’s in a safe area and the property looked reasonably good outside and the common areas.

The location was convenient and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious. The tub eam slow making showers uncomfortable. The air had a smell like smoke and lemon mixed together.

Staff were super nice. Room was ready early which was a plus especially after traveling all day. Bed was very comfortable. Not too hard not too soft. Will definitely stay at again.

GREAT staff!! All of them. Breakfast was insanely good with plenty of selections! Dinner 3 nights a week. And the staff remember you even after a year!!

When we first arrived we were told that the room we booked was unavailable due to some overbooking because of a computer glitch. We eventually did get the tyoe of room we had requested.

Zee at front desk was super nice and friendly. Breakfast today with real smashed avocado, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cottage cheese, fruit, etc was outstanding! Breakfast staff was available and helpful. Excellent!

When we checked in we were told we would only be charged for the days were there (we were there due to the storm and subsequent power outages in the Cleveland area). We booked for 4 nights but only had to be there for 2 nights. Well I have been charged for 4 nights and when I called to let them know they overcharged me I was told I have to contact my credit card company and I have to file a dispute and the person I talked to was nasty and had no idea how that process works because when I said I have to file a dispute because you all messed up she said I did not say you need to file a dispute about 4 times and then said I said you need to contact the bank. Anyone with any sense would know that means I have to dispute the charge which takes a long time. I would never go here again because they overcharged me and they don’t even understand what you have to go through to get your money back and clearly don’t care!

Staff was excellent!

Rooms were not available until after 7 PM. Night clerk was very unprofessional and unaccommodating. No extra sheets, blankets pillows for pull-out sofa, No extra towels and washcloths. Morning clerk was very nice and was very helpful!

When we arrived, they just said our reserved room is not ready and that we need to go to Holiday inn of mayfield, which me and my wife have never experienced in our lives. We drive there again and checked in after 12 am. The female staff at Staybridge never said sorry for our inconvenience, saying that “Oh I called u” as if it’s our fault, when she actually called me almost at 10pm and when I returned the call right away, nobody answered. This hotel experience was just horrible. We were already tired from moving and graduation of our son and on top of that we couldn’t even stay in a hotel we booked. No apology, no compensation for our time or gas, nothing. At the end of the day, we did drive to the other hotel n checked in right after 12 am. It was the worst hotel ever. Be careful when u book at staybridge, u might be sent away to holiday Inn of mayfield. If the manager there sees this review, I wang the manager contact me and do an appropriate action for my horrible experience. Thank you.

The front desk manager was excellent: friendly, efficient and personable. Everything else was a disappointment. We were staying 5 days and asked for a larger room. We got a small room (no dining table) that looked like it hadn't been used/cleaned in a long time. Could not get extra towels. TV did not work properly. No one could help. The room was NEVER cleaned. The fourth day of our stay, someone came in to remove trash and straightened the bed. Then took towels. Bathroom, kitchen area never touched. Very disappointing, given the ratings on Hotels.com.

We stayed for the Morgan Wallen concert in Cleveland this past weekend. We were only about 25 min. away from venue. Clean, super friendly staff, great atmosphere and close to shopping and food. Super satisfied with our stay!

The property was updated, clean and organized. The customer service was A1. Other than the front striping on the front of the microwave was coming loose, the amenities in the room was great, especially the full kitchen. A really great way to relax. No restaurants or shopping in walking distance. But there is some of that 10 minutes away in a vehicle.

Hotel is in good location and is not old but is in need of consistent maintenance and a true housekeeping regiment.

Very clean and well kept. Quiet area of town. Plenty of availability on the weekends. Reasonably priced. It’s my “go to” hotel while in the Cleveland area.

The hotel Staybridge suites was excellent. Very clean, updated, comfortable bed with a sofa as well. The best part was the free breakfast. Krisha was the person that worked with a couple of others to prepare a delicious breakfast every morning. She was so sweet, provided excellent customer service and greeted us like we were family every morning. I was shocked at the healthy choices. They served healthy foods, like oatmeal, eggs, blueberries, cranberries, strawberries, yogurt, fresh fruit, sausage and bacon. Hash brown potatoes and sweet potatoes. Croissants and sweet bread. Fresh orange juice coffee and tea. I can go on and on about the food. So many choices and all you can eat. This saved us so much money. We ate enough for breakfast and lunch.

We have the smallest queen size bed I’ve ever seen. The breakfast was awful we were there first thing when breakfast opened and everything was cold. We spent $240 for one night and it was definitely not worth that kind of money

Horrible! Front desk staff not helpful. No smoking policy not enforced. No HOT water! Smoke alarms going off on middle of night. Breakfast not stocked, Breakfast lady breathing down everyone’s neck as they use waffle maker instead of stocking food.

Everything was great... This place actually has a nightly social time with free food and drinks. I have already been here before and whenever I visit our Cleveland office I will stay here

I was on a business trip and this is my go-to place to stay. The rooms very clean and the breakfast and complimentary happy hour food is great. I will look for further Staybridge Suites again while traveling
