Quality Inn & Suites Oakwood Village - Cleveland South

Stains on hallway carpets, wallpaper in rooms peeling off, obvious mold painted over in bathrooms, bathroom vent does not work, pool closed, breakfast is just microwaved sandwiches and stale cereal. Highly limited options for everything in the surrounding area (you’ll have to drive 20 minutes to the nearest non-fast food restaurant). The staff were all nice and professional but considering the state of the hotel for the price, I will never be returning.

I called to verify the pool was up and running and how late, we got there at 7pm and the pool was open but they couldn’t find the keys to turn lights on so my children were too afraid to swim they brought in a lamp and sat it on the floor 4 feet from where we were at the edge of the pool and told my kid not to splash it or touch it while wet my children are 2 and 6 years old. Next I went to tuck them into bed untucked the corners of the blankets and a USED sildenifil (viagra) packet fell out so I feel we were put into a dirty room

It was an overnight stay. Staff was great and friendly. Hotel clean. Swimming pool was down, empty and boxes in there. ??? Lobby was freezing!! Thermostat said 56. Two heaters running. ?? Breakfast was awful!!!!

The blankets were dirty the pool is full of BLEACH not chlorine. The lobby is the nicest part of the hotel

They made me wait for a room an hour after check in because there were "no clean rooms" and then proceeded to give me a room they said was clean. I immediately went to my room and there was feces still in the toilet, hair on multiple surfaces, and dirt and debris on the floor. It looks like the only thing they did was change the sheets and empty the trash. Later in the evening, I went to use the pool and noticed a few wads of hair on the floor, and then spotted one in the water. This was right after a worker had left the pool area saying that he had just finished cleaning it. The pool room itself was nice, but the cleanliness was not there. The hallways reek of weed and when I arrived, the cleaning staff was blasting music for hours in the hall while they finished cleaning rooms. Luckily, the walls in the rooms seem to be decently thick because it wasn't so loud from in there. But overall, I wouldn't choose to stay here again. Definitely not worth the money, I could have spent $15 more on a hotel that was much nicer.

For $200 a night-There was mold on nearly all walls in the bedroom and pool area. The pool water was cloudy and slimy (not visible) causing me to fall on steps upon entry. The floor in hotel room was not vacuumed. The bathroom floors were not mopped. Not enough supplies in hotel bathroom. Guest were loud and disruptive though-out the night. At one time there were three managers/owner hovering in the lobby. Later, front desk workers were gone for at least hours at a time. We live 6 hours away and were there and came for the Twins Day Festival. The hotel stay was so poor that we may just need to drive to and from on the same day. We will not be back to this specific hotel. I would avoid staying here in the future. On the positive side: the morning worker for the breakfast was so kind, thoughtful, and hard working!

Easy access; parking good; breakfast was pretty good; bathroom was lacking enough towels and rug but they were provided when asked; pool area was nice.

At first, they gave us a horrible, old room with full size beds, I reserved two queen size beds they lied and said that they were queen size beds but they were not. The air conditioner didn't work, there was no handle on the bathroom door, there was no toilet paper, there was also no phone in the room and the AC didn't work. So they gave us another room, which was updated with queen size beds like I wanted to begin with. The lady at the front desk was very kind she was accommodating, she did what she had to do to make sure we were happy as guests. The pool was ice cold the breakfast was good overall Id say it was okay but I would not stay again.

Pool closed and according to reviews (after our stay) has been an issue for over a year and a half. Breakfast was subpr. Milk spoiled, no syrup, ran out of waffle mix while there. Smelled like weed in the halls. Found old gummies on the floor in our room and in the hallway on the 1st floor.

The staff super nice. Its a place to sleep but i guess inwould have paid the extra to stay at the hotel next door. The pool is closed. Alot of remodeling still going on. Roof is being replaced but the feeling of the property is like old and run down. Again it is a place to stay for reasonable price but no real breakfast only waffles and toast..

Clean and quiet

Very quiet, rooms a little dirty, no coffe cups for coffee in room, overall nice stay.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room was clearly not cleaned in a long time—there was trash in every corner, the refrigerator was filthy, and the bathroom had mold and dirt everywhere. Both beds had dirty blankets, and shockingly, mine even had a blood stain on it. This place was a disaster. For the high price, I expected at least basic cleanliness, but it was far from that. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone

NOPE! Keep looking! I was a travel agent for years so I know hotels. I wanted to think this was a decent property after reading the reviews, but I knew the area so I was skeptical. I believe the reviews were not made by actual customers. The low price reflects the area the hotel is in, and the very poor condition of it. Our room, 207, was literally filthy. I believe the only clean spot was the bed. There were long black hairs all over indicating no vacuuming had occurred prior to our arrival. The carpet was stained and bed near the headboard there was so much dirt and debris. The bathroom was by far the worst. The vanity had a board nailed at one end for support, the cover for the shower function not not nearly cover the hole drilled in the tub for it, and the floor had not been washed in some time, showing grime, urine stains, and those same long black hairs literally EVERYWHERE! It was completely disgusting. We wore our shoes at all times. This hotel has obviously been left to deteriorate and the management, while friendly, barely spoke English, and seemed unconcerned by the fact that the elevator floor was filthy. We did NOT eat the free breakfast, nor did we even attempt to look at it. North of this horrid property on I-271 are plenty of nice hotels, restaurants, and Starbucks. I believe these other hotels were sold out because of the Rolling Stones concert during our stay dates. Hence, we ended up here. I am also notifying Quality Inn/Choice Hotels of the condition.

Staff support was great when we required another room. New room was acceptable. While the hotel can use a "facelift", more cleaning and dusting effort is needed in the meantime. I would book again if Room 219 is available to me.

The property was dirty, carpets in hallway were all stained, place smelled like cigarette smoke walking to our room. The room was bare minimum, no soap to wash your hands, no chair to sit comfortably in, just 2 beds and a broken down office chair. The bed fitted sheet came off while I was sleeping and there was red stains all over to mattress pad, it was disgusting. We checked in about 10pm there was people running around the room above us til way after midnight and started again at 4AM. Then arguing and fighting in the hallway around midnight. If I hadn’t traveled all day and was so deathly tired I would have left and moved to the Hampton inn right next door. I went to bed tried to sleep some and was checked out be 7:15am.

The room was dirty. Bathroom floor was sticky and I had to go get cleaning supplies to clean the tub before being able to use it.

Older hotel building so exterior and interior does show some age like minor fading of paint and carpet, minor scratches, etc. Room very comfortable, bed and furnishings were in very good condition. Our check in went smoothly. Complimentary breakfast was kind of average although there was a variety of items. The Front Desk clerk tended to the breakfast throughout Alfa’s t service.

The room was nice but they don’t have a little fridge

Staff was nice. 1st room missing furniture. 2nd room musty , peeling wall paper, very outdated. Room was warm wouldnt cool off.

The property is very fair and comfortable. They are remodeling some areas of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and it appears they have slowly made improvements to modernize the rooms. The rooms are actually good. The downfall is that the floors are a bit dirty in the rooms, but it's tile floor so wear sandals and you'll be fine. The linens were clean, the beds relatively comfortable, and the bathroom are large. All in all, a decent room for the price. The staff is very friendly, so don't give them a hard time about the improvements being made. This is clearly a family owned property, so i imagine making improvements well take time.

Bed was comfortable, tv was small, needed a maintenance run thru. Hot water didn't last long.

I was placed on the 1st. floor by the ice machine which ran all night long and it was extremely loud. It sounded like construction was going on. Doors kept slamming. you could hear folks above our heads running and dropping thing. I got no sleep. Hallway carpet was just dirty. The room doors and fixtures we very old. You could see where they attempted to fix walls.

The room was clean, excellent customer service at the desk. There was no hot food ready in the morning for the included breakfast. The internet went down the day before we checked out in the room.

The room was clean and spacious. When I checked Out I requested a copy of receipt and the hotel person refused then argued with me, it was so unprofessional and unnecessary all for a receipt. I finally got one but customer service was terrible at checkout.

I had to wait to check in because my room was not ready. I asked if there were other rooms available and was told that was the only they had with what I had requested. The hotel didn't seem to be very full at the time.

The staff rectified the problem I had with cleanliness of the room

I booked everything on Expedia. Showed the gentleman at the front desk my confirmation he said great swipe your card for payment. I told him I believe I already paid and he said no it was just for a hold. I ended up being charged twice for the same room.

this place would have been fine besides the super nosy roomates up at 2am slamming doors & arguing & the employees harassing me and my husband about my service dog. they lied saying she was continuously barking which she was not. said she needed her vest - at midnight - while taking her out even though they had already seen her with the vest during the day and never said anything. so while leaving the next morning i made sure she had her vest on as i always do around people. they demanded we show her ID & as me & my husband tried to walk out (because not once while there werent people around did they ask for anything!) they then followed us outside saying they would charge us 300+ unless i provide her service dog ID which everyone who has service pets knows that is NOT a requirement to bring with you nor is it always given to you with a service pet. ive had 2 service dogs & and one ESA. the only time you need your paperwork is for your ESA. my dog is trained for PTSD. i felt singled out, discriminated against & treated poorly. they need to learn there laws on what information they can & cant ask ESPECIALLY in front of people as well as the ‘requirements’ needed for service pets. service pets dont need ids, dont need vest - which i still brought with just to eliminate being embarrassed. seriously do better!

close to sam's and reasonable price

Nice quiet wooded with deer roaming around in the mornings and evenings. It's not the newest building. However The staff more than makes up for the outdated thing switch. I don't find to be as important as The Way that you're treated by staff members

The property’s price rate was comparable to its quality. It was conveniently located to the highway and other places such as fast food, a price club facility and a discount store. Additionally, it felt safe walking in the area. The room was adequate, but the floor could have been cleaned more carefully and the fan in the bathroom did not work. Overall, a decent facility for a quick stay.

It was just okay. Seemed like it may have been a safe place to stay. Just not the cleanest place I've ever been wallpaper peeling off in the bathroom The hotel clearly needs some updating but for the price I guess get what you pay for. The area for the continental breakfast was disgusting and most of the food was eaten and never replenished. When it's gone it's gone I guess. The orange juice was empty and the Apple juice was water. They did have coffee but at that point I was disgusted and just walked away from the whole thing.. if you're looking for a cheap place, this is it. If you're looking for a cheap experience, this is it. Other than that I would stay at the Hampton for the extra $50 $60....

My wife and I decided to take vacation from all the hustle and overwhelming of work. This place provided us with amazing customer service, clean rooms, and peace and quiet. Perfect location for site seeing and amazing breakfast was provided every morning. We will definitely visit again.

Everything was great, check-in was smooth, I appreciated the little snack bag, a nice touch would be one for each person (or 1 per bed.) Not a big deal, we don't mind sharing with each other. The room was cute, modern, clean and quiet. The lobby was decorated in a very cute Retro mod theme.

It was inexpensive and convenient. Thank you. The shower was falling apart. The breakfast was not maintained.
