It was very nice ! Clean, staff was friendly. I will look for this hotel chain for my next trip I have told family and friends about how nice it was. It had a pool and work out room. The beds were cozy. Felt like I was sleeping on a big pillow.

First time staying here. I was very pleased. Nice amenities. Nice quiet areas at the bar and outdoor patio to enjoy a drink. Rooms were nice and clean and bed was super comfortable! Would definitely stay again!

Hotel is ok... pool is nicer than other hotels, Room is big but the distribution of it is weird. There were no sheets for the sofa in the bedroom, not enough towels, we had to go down to get them because the staff didn't get our several calls. Not a helpful staff

The bed was so comfortable. The room was nice. The water in the shower and on the bathroom floor seemed slippery and very possible to fall. The water was far out on the bathroom floor. I loved the pool but I feel it needs some additional care and the shower area needs care.

This is a great option for Westerville. Great location, close to lots of dining options. The hotel was clean and quiet and parking was free and super convenient. I was traveling with my DIL’s and felt very safe here.

We have stayed at this property many times and we are never disappointed. The only thing is that the ice maker on the third floor was not working. Although, the staff in the desk were very happy to give us ice, it was an inconvenience.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The staff are friendly but the lady who checked us in gave us zero information. When I asked why I was charged an additional $40 and to ensure the separate $100 pending charge was the normal holding charge for hotels. Anyways she basically said I had to check out in order to get a receipt and that she couldn’t let me know anything. Kind of strange but I let it go. In the room, there were very few towels but it was very easy to obtain more. The showers are gross and you will have to clean them yourselves. The showers are full tile and the corners and grout contain large amounts of mold and residue. The drains aren’t cleaned so it smells rotten whenever you use warm water. There is no fan in the bathroom which I found odd since there is a random vent in the center of the shower. Our main issue, we put the “do not disturb” sign on the door which we were told would be a sign for housekeeping and staff to enter the room.. Well this sign was on our door the entire time and housekeeping came into our room everyday while we were gone. After the first time house keeping came we notified the front staff when leaving out a second time of the incident and about how after they came we no longer had a tv remote. The buttons are difficult to use on the tv so we basically had no tv which was okay but annoying. Long story short. Don’t book!

Our room was dirty with a dried contact lense and 2 tags from clothing on the floor. There were hairs on the bed and a clump of hair in the shower drain. The front desk had the room recleaned and said they would credit some of the room back to our card. The next morning, after opening yogurt, we were told there were no spoons to eat it. The spoons were ordered and would be in sometime in the afternoon. We then got a muffin since we could not eat the yogurt. She did say she would not charge us for the yogurt. We stayed at this hotel in February and had a good experience which is why we chose to stay there again. I’m doubt we will stay there again in the future.

Below what I would expect for the price. Carpet was either poorly or not vacuumed. Broken toilet paper roll holder. Overall cleanliness was ok. Bedding really old and way broken down, needs refresh.

Excellent hotel! Property was clean and well maintained. Staff were wonderful. Very welcoming and accommodating. I forgot an item during checkout and they quickly shipped it to me within hours of me providing shipping information. Our room was a good size with enough storage space. Location is easy to access most of Columbus in a short amount of time. This was our first time staying at an Aloft hotel and I would gladly book here again.

Really nice property. Clean, modern, friendly staff… However, the room lighting is ridiculous. You cannot use the bathroom lights without lighting up the entire room. Combine that with the useless translucent glass in the shower that does the exact same thing and you have to scratch your head as to the dimwit who designed this lighting layout. There are ways to illuminate specific areas without lighting multiple rooms up. A microwave would be nice too.

Clean, staff good, air conditioning a little tricky to regulate with fan. Biggest complaints are slippery shower floor (no skid mat provided), no grab bars, too few towel racks, no shelf in the shower. Closet rack and hangers practically unreachable for anyone under 7 feet tall. Everything else ok.

Loved the bar area. They have a big selection of liquor. Even had Jim Beam Single Barrel. Had a couple drinks and played a few games of pool. Pool is free so thats awesome. It was something to kill time. The beds were comfortable. The whole area was clean and in good shape. The heater was nosie though. The walls are pretty thin. Could hear the people in the next room talking.

We have stayed at this chain of hotels before and this one was not on par with the others. There was a small dorm sized refrigerator, but it was under the bathroom sink. It was noisy. The layout of the room was odd. There was a frosted window in the shower that illuminated the sleeping area so that the entire room lit up if someone used the bathroom in the middle of the night. The bathroom did not shut tightly so every bathroom noise could be heard in the entire room. The mattress was overly soft - not that the mattress was old, but I think this was the intention - it was just a pillow-like mattress - which did not work for either of us. There was no breakfast - which was no surprise based on the description - however we’ve always had a nice breakfast at this hotel chain. Upon check-in, we were told that breakfast service was suspended but a number of items were available for purchase and we could use their complimentary microwaves. Overall, it was just not a positive experience.

Clean, Comfortable, Quiet. This hotel was busy and there was even a party going on. Once we were in our room we could here almost no noise from anywhere and we were on the first floor. Only thing I was disappointed in was there was not an ice machine on the first floor, but the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodated us.

When checking in there was 2 employees at the desk. Both conversing with me. I was asked to swipe a card for damage just in case. I then inquired about where to take my dog out, I noticed a court yard area, they both said oh yes you can take the dog out there. I went up to the room and came back down to grab a few more items from my car and noticed a sign on the desk (where I checked in) stating:you must sign a contract if you have a dog staying here. So I said to the girl at the desk, why wasn’t this presented to me when checking in? I was asking questions regarding my dog… she then said, I wasn’t the one who checked you in! I looked at her and said are you going to get the paperwork out so I can sign it? Would I have been charged $50 if this wasn’t signed? She said yes! I looked at her and said this a lesson right? She again said I didn’t check you in. I was extremely disappointed and it kinda seemed like this is a normal thing they neglect . Training your employees is so important so instances like this doesn’t happen! The next day we checked out and I decided to check my credit card account that i swiped when arriving at Aloft.. there is 2 $50 charges from Aloft. I tried calling and speaking with the manager and the girl who answered said the manager is gone for the day. I then asked to speak to another manager and she said there’s no manager here. All in all the staff’s lack of training and “I don’t give a crap” attitude is really unfortunate!

The room was find and the location was very convenient. The check in person was not knowledgeable of how to check in a person with a credit card. Rather than trying to find a solution at 12 am, we called our mother in law who came in her pajamas to run her credit card, explain to the lady the machine wasn't working, and that there is no pin to a credit card, there is a security code - very different terms. She needs training desperately. Once we got into the room it was ok.

Stayed here while attending a music festival in Columbus. Easy drive from the festival grounds to the hotel, as it was right off the exit! Room was clean and the hotel was quiet. I was able to utilize the outside courtyard for a business call.

Every staff member we encountered during our stay was absolutely incredible. Polite, accommodating, and super friendly!! We loved our front desk girl, I wish I would have gotten her name! There is no kitchen/restaurant on site, like the website says, but they have snacks and drinks for sale in the lobby.
