Drury Inn & Suites Columbus Dublin

Walls were thin enough that if anyone spoke in the hall outside our room even in a whisper, we could hear it. The hot tub was great, as were the drinks at the 5:30 kickback. Breakfast was great as well.

At check-in, I was charged $50 more than my reservation; I assumed that the number I remembered was before taxes and fees and thought nothing of it. But at checkout, the receipt only showed the amount that was actually shown on my original reservation; the front-desk clerk was very apologetic but couldn't explain the discrepancy (likely a security hold). The next day, the entire original charge was refunded to my credit card and a new charge in the correct amount was applied. The rooms were wonderful and well-worth what I paid; they were clean, odor-free, and spacious. Couches and bed were very comfortable. The TVs worked very well. The "hot tub" in the pool area was more of a "lukewarm tub" - I got significantly hotter water in my room's bathtub. I liked the idea of "free drinks during happy hour" more than the actual implementation; because the "drinking area" is the same as the lobby, the entire public area of the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke (in fairness, I so no evidence of people actually smoking). At the breakfast, there was plenty of food, but no staff in sight when I had questions. I had planned on spending some time working in the advertised Business Center. It's a good thing I had made other plans, as the "Business Center" consisted of two computers on a stand-up desk right by the front door. No place to put any papers and not even a pretense of providing privacy.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel. It wasn't the cleanest, but my car got broken into the parking lot at no fault of the hotels, but they don't have security cameras, so they said

This hotel was not quite as nice as other Drury's I've stayed in but maybe they were just very busy. The hot tub was a great temperature. They were out of pool towels and when I alerted staff, they were delivered right away. The biggest upset was what appeared to be a tampon floating in the pool that I unfortunately noticed after we'd all been in.

You need to monitor the swimming pool area. Kids were hitting people with noodles, chocking each other, playing chicken. Doing cannon balls in the hot tub. If that was not going on- it is an awesome area

I booked my Stay at The Drury Inn in Dublin Columbus because of the Amenities. The Pool, the Hot Tub and the Full Breakfast- Dinner and Drinks. However, I wasn't able to take Advantage of the Pool or Hot Tub! Simply because, it was constantly full of 8 or more people, during the Pool & Hot Tub hours. (Especially children in the Hot Tub!) I am very, very Disappointed that I didn't get to Enjoy those Amenities! I wasn't aware that children under 10 year's old was allowed in the Hot Tub!!! &...I was also put in a room that smelled like cigarette smoke, when I reported it immediately, to the front desk. They responded (that room #431 was treated for smoking!) I then said why was it given to anyone? The smell very strong & overwhelming, they changed my room, however, the new room was smaller than the 1st room, which was Handicap Accessible. I Never received another Handicap Accessible room or Accommodations after repeated request.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the 5:30 kickback and breakfast. The pool was clean but full of people and kids. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Always live a Drury stay. Big problem this time: two nights we came back to find every single parking spot filled, had to drive around and park in a different lot and walk. TWICE. Multiple spaces taken up by box trucks and semi trucks parked sideways. Complained at desk and was told ‘it happens a lot- but many trucks have 4 people in them so it’s okay if they take up 4 spots’ Hard to keep a straight face at this. Drury, you need to look into this. If your bookings promise free parking, that shouldn’t mean I get to park behind a Longhorn and walk over a grassy hill to get there. TWICE

Liked the breakfast and kick back options. Did not like the pool closing at 10 without adult only time to be available.

I paid for 2 rooms,to my family to the zoo. Both rooms had bug beds. One alot more then the other. Manager knew and did nothing about it. My grand kids had to sleep out in the car in the middle of a storm. This place horrible about a dressing the bug bed issue. Gave us hard time about hetting a refund. I will never stay there again.

My room and the hotel were very clean but I did see a roach scurry on the floor, when I turned the bedside lamp on in the middle of the night to get some water. I unfortunately checked out immediately after and headed to my destination instead.

Excellent staff, very clean

Our room was very dusty. It looked like it hadn't been dusted in awhile. The bed were not comfortable at all. I woke up in pain both nights unable to go back to sleep. The pillows aren't comfortable either. However, every employee we encountered was incredibly nice and friendly.

A fine stay. Easy check in. Had two rooms. One smelled heavily of smoke the other was fine. Both were clean otherwise. All of our clothing and bags smelled. The man at the bar in the lobby was incredibly rude.

Room was next to the atrium overlooking the breakfast area. You could hear every chair get moved. Also we found numerous ants in the room.

Mix up on check in. But it was resolved. The reception was a mess. Dirty tables, food everywhere. Cold potatoes, etc. tables got cleaned after the reception guests were left to clean their own tables during reception. No fresh popcorn or scoop for popcorn. No tongs for buns, people handling buns by hand, not very sanitary, I’m sure health department would have some questions for management. Parents need to be in charge of their children getting food.

The customer service was excellent!! Breakfast was good. The only problem we had was the sofa bed was terrible. Although they tried to accommodate us my son didn't want to trouble them with trying to find a different room. Other than that every thing was awesome. Front desk clerks was so amazing.

We had a room above the atrium area, and it was quite noisy for the dinner and breakfast times. Recommend getting a room away from the atrium area

Everything was clean. The body wash dispenser was cracked and you could easily lift it up so anyone could access it so we didn’t use it. Half of the pillows were tiny and not normal size. Also it would be nice to have an end table and plugs on both sides of the beds due to c pap machines and power outlets.

Very clean and nice room. Comfortable bed. Door handle was very hard to get into room. Had to push up first and then down before door would open. Commode lost water and would fill up every 5 minutes. Annoying. Kickback evening dinner was mediocre at best.

Room seem very dates and worn out for being updated 2 years ago

Very nice rooms and clean. Breakfast and kick back were decent food. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

It was the quietest hotel i have ever stayed at. There was several events happening in Columbus that weekend. The hotel was packed. Once you were in your room you never heard any noise. My room was close to the elevator i never heard it running. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. However the room could have used some tlc.

Rooms clean, large. Air cold

Our room was 205. Outside, just under our window was a group of smokers and vapors who were talking loudly and it was midnight. We could not sleep. We called the front desk to report it. The gentleman at the desk said he would go out and tell them to keep it down. When we checked out and requested our receiot, the attendant asked us about our stay. We told her we were unhappy and why. She said she would reach out to corporate and get us a complimentary overnight at any of the hotels locations. We have not heard anything yet. We are looking forward to receiving it. Thank you.

Great customer service, excellent location. Buffet for breakfast and dinner, 3 free drinks per night. Clean, nice rooms and friendly staff. Fantastic manager that was down helping the staff clean and take care of guests - rare to see these days! Highly recommend.

Staff were great. They were booked and busy. Still took care of needs and individual attention.

The offerings were beyond my expectstiobs. My air conditioner was not working properly. A women came to my room immeadiately following my call. Tried several different options to fix it and did not give up until she found the solution. She did it with it with enthusiasm and a smile. I will always choose a Drury inn when i travel. It was my 1st time staying at one of your properties.

The kickback time was awesome. The staff here was phenominal (especially Lynne!). Definitely a great experience and we will stay again.

I arrived at 10 pm and despite having a confirmed reservation, I was told there were no rooms available. They offered to pay for one night at another hotel (and if have to pack up and come back to Drury for my second night...) but the other hotel would not accept the Drury voucher claiming Drury never pays their bills in past for other referred 'walk ins'. Another area hotel said the same. Apparently this is an ongoing scenario. A disgusting one. Leaving customers without rooms after traveling and lying to them should all be illegal... Let's see what the attorney general says.

We called ahead notifying of a late arrival and were told " no problem". When we arrived at 1:00 am we were one of three reservations for which they had no room available! They said OTA's overbooked the hotel. Malcolm was nice but situation is unacceptable! Was offered comp room at "possible hotel 30 min away". We were on the road already for 7 hours. We booked at another hotel next door and received excellent service. Orbitz or Drury really messed this one up!!!!!!!!!

The staff could not have been nicer. We were greeted by Lynne at check in and saw her throughout our stay. Always had a smile on her face and great attitude. She and the rest of the staff are the reason we will look to stay at a Drury the next time we travel.

Needed more staff at check in. The lady was very nice but was waiting on 3 customer at the same time. The other staff must have been new seemed like he wasn’t sure on checking in . She was wonderful but I feel one more person would have moved things faster

Thank you to Lynne and Trae and all the staff. You all went out of your way to make our visit very special. My 5 year old granddaughter will have pts of great memories! That is what it is all about!

Love the area. Close to stores, restaurants, and sights. It's just a little drive to Dublin itself. The town is quaint, complete with walkways across the river and trails alongside.

Hotel is in a nice spot off of the highway with a lot of dining options nearby. Room was clean, indoor/outdoor pool was neat and the breakfast was good. There's also complimentary drinks — but the person at check-in didn't alert me to the tickets she slipped in with the room keys in the holder and I didn't notice them till after the 7 p.m. expiration date. Next time Drury Inn. Next time. P.S. Be sure to check out the Field of Corn sculpture park nearby.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff. The breakfast was great and the location is surrounded by lots of restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. The area around the hotel was safe and quiet. Would stay here again.

This was a great hotel. It was very clean and we enjoyed the free breakfast, dinner and adult beverages!! Only complaint was bathroom door was very heavy so was a bit of a pain going in and out of bathroom. Also had small issue with room key stopped working but they quickly fixed the issue.

The nightly kickback is a wonderful benefit to staying at a Drury. The staff taking care of the food both evening and morning were very efficient and keeping food stocked and organized.

We are regular customers at Drury hotels; however, this experience was not the same as past experiences. They ran out of ALL food multiple times and the wait to get food was extraordinarily long. There were no plates and bowls and the popcorn machine wasn’t working. It was an extremely frustrating and highly disappointing showing from their staff and the Drury name.

I’ve stayed at numerous Drury Inn’s. This one was my least favorite one. Check in went well. Kickback was extremely disappointing. The area was too small so their was no were to sit. The ravioli was dry. I’ve never been so disappointed at Kickback. I got one beverage and then the tap went out. The soup was bland. They put the hotdog buns in with the hotdogs so the buns were soggy. We ended up leaving and going to Longhorn to eat. Breakfast wasn’t much better. Bananas looked terrible, the biscuits were extremely dry. Sausage was overheated which then made it dry. Just a horrible experience for both meals. The fitness center had a few ellipticals and a couple treadmills, that’s it. Went to get popcorn and it was all gone and they never made anymore. Our room was decent. I understand that Kickback comes as no extra cost, but it’s included in the price you pay for the room. For what I paid on a Monday night, I expected better.

This hotel provided a hot breakfast that was massive. In addition, they provided a hot dinner every evening with a staple of nachos and hot dogs for children (or adults) with every different dinner menu. Adults 21 and over also received three free alcoholic beverages every evening with dinner. Absolutely exceptional for the price. I have never seen this before at any hotel.
