NO TOWELS FOR THE POOL. ASKED FOR TOWELS. WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE WORKING ON IT. TWO HOURS LATER STILL NO TOWELS. POOL WAS FREEZING COLD OUR ENTIRE STAY. ROOF WAS LEAKING WHEN WE ARRIVED. LADY AT FRONT DESK THRETENED TO CALL THE COPS WHEN WE KEPT ASKING FOR TOWELS. SHE SAID WE WERE HIRASSING HER. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE STAY AT THIS LOCATION.

Misleading parking charges and tons of loud guests. This hotel charges $9/day for parking, which was listed misleadingly as ‘parking available’ when we booked the room. I’ve stayed at neighboring hotels which do not charge for parking. This is not NYC, it’s located next to a freeway outside of Dublin. Charging for parking is sleazy. Also, tons of guests let their kids run wild around the hotel lobby and along the hallways until 11:30 pm Fri and Sat nights making all sorts of noise. Loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I felt like we were stuck in a YMCA sleepover party.

When I booked the room parking was free. I search for establishment’s with no charge for parking. Upon entering the elevator I read parking is $10 a nite. I was not told while checking in there is a $10 parking charge per night.

The Hotel\'s architecture and included amenities were great. They had a complimentary Snacks and Drinks social every night for guests, and the included breakfast was the best I\'ve had at a hotel in ages. However, due to the previous nights guests, the Pool was "Temporarily closed" and, while the staff was very friendly, they continuously gave us incorrect information about when the pool area would be cleaned, so we never got to swim while we were there. We were told several times that it\'d be open at "X" time, and it never was, and we just became the next shifts problem. Overall, it was a good visit and we\'ll be staying here again in the future. Just be sure that there isn\'t a cheerleading competition being held nearby before booking, if you want to swim.

This type of hotel is one where the magnitude and inside look beautiful but once you get into the room and look at the details, it needs updated. The light switches made no sense. We had to go to each light to actually turn it on. The bathroom interior needs addressing. There also needs to be more lighting. For the amount of rooms and floors, 3 elevators is not enough. There was a wedding and conference going on and we ended up taking the stairs to the 7th floor. The bar and restaurant is wonderful and has great food.

In general, this hotel was outdated and not maintained well. ZERO of the ice machines were working. We were advised by one staff member that they've been out of service for over a year, although the front desk said they were all being serviced at that given time. Pool was murky and then closed for an unknown reason. No towels at pool 2 days in a row (when it was open) no ventilation at pool, hot tub covered with a piece of plywood, staff advised 3 years its been inoperable. Room lacking many things. No sheets/blankets for pullout sofa, no body wash or shampoo, nail in carpet tack strip went through my fathers foot. Noisy lobby conditions up until after 11pm. Overall very dissatisfied with my stay, especially with the cost of the room. Do not recommend.

I had to go down to the service desk. My key did not work and they had the wrong time frame down for my stay. The bottom of our bathtub was brown and we had one cushion on the back of the sofa. Found the other one on the floor when we pulled out the sleeper bed. Which had hair all over it, so I went to the the desk and asked for a fresh bed set. The coffee machine was broken in the lobby. And the shampoo and soap was fastened into the wall & watered down.

Upon checking into my room, I found it in an unsatisfactory and unclean condition. There were wet towels left on the chair and floor, a Chipotle bag containing trash, and the bed appeared to have been recently used. Additionally, the room I was given did not match the type I had originally booked. When I asked about this, I was informed that it was the only available room. I was also told that a manager would follow up with me regarding the issue, but I never received a call.

They over booked hotel only room available was a smoking room. I took it as it was already late. Smell was overwhelming. Rest of room was very aged and fairly dirty. Carpet frayed like a dog or cat was try to get out, remote was so sticky I washed in the sink.

The stay was good. We had ants all over our bathroom floor and no bedding for the pull out. Had to wait 25 minutes for towels, as there was only 3 in the room with 6 people. My 2 yougest kids had to dry off with hand towls and wash rags because it took so long to get the towels to our room. Rooms were super clean but overall we enjoyed our stay

I was disappointed in room cleanliness. Bathtub rings, moldy areas in Bathroom ceilings and walls, toilet wouldnt flush consistently, room door was stck and wouldnt open...required maintenance intervention. Air conditioner kept resetting itself to 67' and no heat was available. Desk clerk most helpful told me to turn everything to off but we couldnt turn heat on. It helped a little. I really wanted to see a directory in the room. I had to keep calling desk with simple questions that are usually solveable when a facility/ community directory is available. I.e...is there a restaurant, where is pool, what are pool hours, is there a guest laundry? What dining places deliver here? At checkout Sunday morning it appeared that only one elevator was working. 20 min wait for elevator. Long lines of guests on every floor trying to get an elevator.Had to call front desk to tell them.I did love my desk clerk she seemed very helpful when i sought her out for help. I didnt get her name. She is a tall, thin, black young lady with engaging personality and smile. She checked me in and appeared to be on duty all weekend. She deserves your acknowledgement and appreciation as a really great face for your brand! It was an OK weekend, I just wish things would have been a little more polished and guest focused inside the room so that I didnt have to feel like i was a cranky, needy, guest by calling the desk all the time.

Amazing place! Get the personally made omelet and fresh fruit for breakfast. Watch the elevators from the comfy lobby. I really enjoyed the suite, with it's separate sitting area, microwave, mini fridge. Can't say enough good things about this hotel, and its pet friendly.

In town for one night for kids sporting event. The room was mostly as described except the beds are not double but more like single and a half, so very tight for two people. I did try to request more pillows for the room, but was told they do not provide any additional pillows (first time ever I have been told this at any hotel) and the ones in the room were extra small, so I remove a star for this. The breakfast was above average for these types of hotels with someone to make omelets to order which my kids really enjoyed vs just having the trays of food on hotplates. This combined with two drinks during happy hour, I would stay again, just would recommend to bring your own pillow. I also just found out they charged a fee for parking. I did not see this on my booking anywhere, nor did the lady at the Hotel front desk mention it. Also an unusual charge after the fact I plan to dispute.

The temperature throughout the hotel was set at 68 F, in August! Freezing cold inside, while outside we were dressed for summer. Why keep a winter temperature inside? In addition, the room thermostat was also set at 68F, again finding the room freezing cold, with no option to make it warmer (I was tood that setting a heat temperature in the room won't work because the boiler is off in summer). So, not enjoyable to spend time neither in the room nor in the common areas. We went out as much as possible. I don't expect the temperature to be 80F, but come on..... 68F in summer is too cold. Make it 72 or 74, and if people want, they can always lower it in their own rooms. It feels uncomfortable and a waste of energy.

I requested a wake up call since I forgot my charging adapter. The only usb options were in the adjoining living room. Fortunately, I heard my phone alarm in the next room as I didn’t receive a wake up call. It also seems with the pricey rooms parking should be free.

The thermostat in our original room did not work. It was blowing cold air and temp would not rise above 73 degrees. We moved rooms and the second room had a defective outlet on the right side of the bed - the light on the end table did not work and we could not plug in the c-pap machine. Fortunately, we had a long extension cord for the c-pap machine, but it was still an inconvenience to not have a working light on that side of the bed. The clock, alarm clock on the left side of the bed had a low battery light and the clock was off by over 3 hours with no way to adjust or correct the time.

My stay began w/ the elevator being down and the key card system being down. Check-in took significantly longer than it should have. We also had a fire evacuation on Saturday. What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend wasn’t very relaxing. I would also suggest service desk people being more sensitive to those of us practicing sober living. When I stated I didn’t want or need my happy hour ticket I wasn’t exactly met w/ understanding.

The staff allowed small children to run around the hotel and terrorize other patrons at all hours of the night. Actually threw out people who complained about it. Security guard accosted my husband when he waked out our room to see why people were screaming outside. She told him he needed to go back to his room and he was a fire hazard. The night manager Christopher refused to give us the corporate number and threatened to throw us out for asking why my husband was being screamed at. Meanwhile they allowed obviously impaired people to walk around the hotel and smoke weed on the elevators with small children present. When I complained about that he said he didn’t see it and said he would go spray the elevators. Terrible hotel. Terrible service. Never ever ever stay here.

Stayed with majority of a baseball team on a busy weekend with the hotel. Seemed as if the baseball kids were targeted as trouble makers by the staff as they were continually yelled at when there were other visitors running and smoking marijuana in the hotel. The hotel was not effective in controlling the noise levels after so called quiet hours. Seemed as if rules applied for some and not others. Will not stay at this Embassy Suites in the future.

I have stayed here once before, about 4 years ago. We enjoyed the previous stay so we rebooked. We got in late (8:45) checked in and went down stairs to enjoy the lobby and have a drink. Got our first drink about 10:15 from the bar and just finally able to relax. The atrium/lobby is huge and wasn’t not full. Abruptly at 11- a security guards said time to leave?! We were confused and bummed. They said this is the rule, I have never encountered this before. We were all adults just relaxing. We were super bummed. There was no where for us to sit . We ended up going outside on a beach.

This is a beautiful hotel where I have stayed several times. It is close to the downtown area of Dublin and the many restaurants. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is one of the best that I hae experienced in my travels.

Check in was a breeze and very friendly. I had an issue with the lobby coffee machine - charged me $6 for hot water, instead of coffee. I do not see that I have been credited yet for the first cup I didn’t receive. great lobby and bar area. The rooms were very spacious. I appreciated having the bedroom separate from the living room. The room had microwave and fridge, along with coffee and tea choices. Definitely would stay again!

My daughter and I are currently staying at The embassy Suites in Dublin ohio. So first, the remote to the TV didn't work and when i went to look at the batteries, there was battery acid all over it and it took them 30 minutes just to bring a remote. The pool looked like a prison cell and was packed to the brim with unaccompanied minors harassing all of the girls in the pool. A bunch of trashy families just screaming and shouting taking up all the space and cannonballing in the pool, one of the lamps doesn't work by the bed, the food was disgusting and expensive. I could've gone to a ball game and gotten a better burger. They got my order wrong too. Lol. Like literally a disgrace.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. The location near Old Dublin was also a big plus. I downgraded my review to three stars based upon the breakfast. It was a big disappointment compared to my last stay two years ago. Two years ago the breakfast really stood out as a big plus. Since then the breakfast has declined in quality. The bagels and pastries were third rate, the oatmeal was watery, the coffee was bitter and the breakfast potatoes were dry and tasteless. This was a very noticeable change from the delicious and appetizing breakfast served two years ago.
