Our group arrived on motorcycles and parking was excellent. Our bikes were safe and the staff gave us towels to clean them after a long day of riding. Check in was seamless. The breakfast was nice and lots of options; nothing special but adequate for us. The room was clean and furniture antiquated and pretty cool. Plenty of towels and toiletries were available. The staff gave us dining options and we chose a brewery within walking distance. The food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.

A great hotel at a very reasonable price. Great facilities , microwave, fridge etc. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very efficient and friendly. Light breakfast also provided.

The RC Lodge offered all necessary amenities except : 1.no usb charge port 2. not enough seating for breakfast area We loved the comfy bed easy room access.

Comfy old school hotel with charm and personality. You can tell the owners take pride in their business. Exceptionally clean rooms for the price point. They even have a fenced in area for taking dogs out - gravel, nothing fancy, but convenient and perfect for dog owner's whose pup won't poop on leash. Would stay again.

This is my third stay at this charming, slightly funky hotel in Pendleton. I totally sleep like a log here; trains don’t seem to matter but the bed is very comfy, nice lighting. Very clean and bright. If you stay on the 2nd or 3rd level there’s a nice view of the hills beyond the Umatilla River. I bring my own food so make good use of the refrigerator and microwave. Love the Riverwalk which we (my dog and I ) walk to to stretch our legs before settling in this cozy hotel.

The room felt like home. Great channels and access to movies on the tv. Bathroom was clean and nice. Very dog friendly. Parking was very convenient. Staff were great. I give this place a 10 plus

Older hotel but clean. Nice staff. No elevator but only two stories. The building we were in was not really ADA friendly in that there was a step up to get into building and stairs both up and down to get to some of the rooms. Certainly would contact them if accessible room was required.

It had a very nostalgic feel, including an actual metal key. The price was fair, bed was comfortable, both staff members I interacted with were friendly. The room was clean, had a small fridge as well as a microwave. They had breakfast from 6-9, recommended a local place for dinner.

For a $250 room, I wouldn’t expect to find a condom under the bed. Just gross!

The property is in excellent shape and very clean for an old property. The owner is extremely concerned about making sure his guests are taken care of.

Room not the cleanest. Mirrors had fingerprints and smears of stuff on them. Room smelled musty. This place was not the cheapest place in Pendleton, but it was not the most expensive either.

What a charming little Inn! It is very clean and lovingly maintained. The property is old but really is well kept, clean and homey. Colorful pansies and other happy flowers were planted in the planters. The room we stayed in (accessible) was small, but very cozy and well appointed. It was extremely clean, even in the corners behind the door. The tiles in the bathroom sparkled! The decor is simple country charming, white duvets/sheets, and pine furniture, (not mid century like the building), which IMHO lends to the coziness of the place. The continental breakfast is basic but enough to start your day (bagels/butter-cc, toast, jams, cereal, boiled eggs, mini muffins, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice) and people filter in between 6 and 9 am. The staff/management are kind and friendly. On our first night, we needed some assistance with connecting the tv to wifi to stream a show, as it kept disconnecting. Someone was there in an instant to show us the trick. One night on our trip, unfortunately my husband got ill in the room.The next day, they kindly had housekeeping come in clean up and remake the room while we were out. Spotless! Pendleton is a cute cowboy town with a river and a big rodeo arena, all at the edge of the Umatilla Reservation. It is home to one of the original Pendleton Woolen factories (fun tours). There is lots of western history here- things to see, cute shops, and places to eat.

It is near a main road into Pendleton so the truck traffic in the evening and early morning is rather loud. In addition there are train tracks nearby with trains rumbling through at night, so if you are a light sleeper take that into consideration. It is older construction and if you are on the bottom floor, the squeaking from guests above on the upper floor can be annoying. That being said, the continental breakfast was the best part. Simple fair, but filling.

Room was very small but comfortable and clean. Walls are thin. Listened to the guy in the next room talk on the phone for hours and heard a lot of the conversation. Check in was convenient. Not a lot for breakfast but was ok.

The room was charming and well-kept. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was professional. The only issue we had was that the trains ran all night. Even at 4 AM the train was running and blowing its horn. This is not the hotel's fault, but it would have been nice to have been told that this was a noisy room and maybe been offered a more quiet room.

Really enjoyed staying here. Rooms are nicely decorated. Very comfortable beds.

We stopped for a quick overnight on our journey home and we loved staying here! Very clean and comfortable. Our room had a queen bed and a fold out double couch bed, perfect for our little family. The innkeeper was incredibly friendly and helpful and made sure to keep the breakfast items stocked when we saw us come in. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay off of the interstate. They were so accommodating for our late check-in.

Very clean, small and old. Trains all night long. The foreigner checking me in obviously had issues with females and talked down to me at every encounter. I will not be going back to this hotel.

The rooms were clean and well kept, but the staff member who was taking care of the breakfast was nowhere to be found. Meanwhile many of the guest outside wondering what’s going on, and one gentleman even called the Management but no answer. Breakfast was supposed to be 7 o’clock and it ended up being at 8 o’clock. Others were trying to check out and didn’t know where to leave the keys, there was nobody in the front desk. Overall comfortable room but they need to work on their customer service and be on time.

The pillows were what Fred Flintstone would have used in Bedrock City. Says front desk 24/7 (Not true, tried to contact in the early morning with no success. Stay at your own peril. Not for me

The lodge was clean and the staff were friendly. It is a place to sleep and leave. It was convenient to get to and get back on the road. I would stay there again. The breakfast was sparce but just fine.

It was centrally located for us which made it easy to get where we needed to go. The Pendleton Mill was a 5 minute or less drive which was nice.

Quite clean, on a fairly busy road so there is some traffic noise. Not sure about returning the key in the morning, the office was still locked at 08:30 so left it in the room. The breakfast was basic.

Thr picture of the Rugged country Lodge, to me, was deceiving. It looks as though you drive from the road right in front of the motel. You don't. You come down either side of the street into the motel parking lot. My wife and I did enjoy our stary. Perfect room for us.

We had a very nice time in Pendleton and The Rugged Country Inn didn’t disappoint! It was clean, comfortable, and cozy w a really good TV to watch football at night! The breakfast was simple but very adequate and the staff were friendly and helpful! Would recommend any time!

easy parking .too far from the main street. no place to eat within walking distance other than a burger shop

The walls were thin and could here tvs from other rooms. Felt like a sketchy area.

The only thing missing was a place my dog could go potty. I wish they could clean up dining room no earlier than 9:30 and coffee was gone by 9am. I thought owner was very nice and had done an excellent job with the renovations.

It was a great stay. Clean rooms, good service, simple breakfast (cereals, coffee, bagels and muffins and jam/cream cheese, bananas) but probably the best deal around for its prices.
