Although it was a nice hotel, the elevator was not working. I being over 65 had to cart luggage up stairs. Not willing to offer any compensation for inconvenience and struggles of going up and down the stairs with bad knees.

Overall, it was acceptable. The staff was nice and helpful. I did have an issue with the door lock not opening easily and had to have a staff member assist me to get in. When I was checking out, the elevator was out of service, so I had to carry my bags down three flights of stairs, which was inconvenient. Otherwise, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Details on the place need to be updated on the app. Booked this room specifically for my daughters birthday so she could swim with her friends. Pool was closed, one employee said it was open.. the other said that it wouldn’t be open until 6/1. Could have stayed elsewhere had I known.

Stayed two days. Had a small issue with the toilet which was corrected immediately and the issue disappeared. The staff was friendly and exceptional. First time we have ever had a staff member in the breakfast room who made the waffles for guests who wanted him to do so. The only other issue is the the 2nd floor creaks badly as you walk on it., and the carpet is loose and gathered in spots May be some structural issue which needs addressing. That being said, will gladly stay there again when visiting Aiken!

Check in was stated to be at 3pm and we arrived after 9pm and had to wait to verify that our room was ready. The doors on the 2nd floor showed Non-Smoking rooms, however the entire 2nd floor smelled of Weed, and according to friends that were on the 3rd floor, the same smell was on tgat floor. We ended up checking our a night early due to the overwhelming smell of weed smells.

My employee stayed for ten nights in four different rooms. After her final check-out, she was covered in bites. Her final two nights were in room 335, and after some “review investigation” I discovered that four weeks earlier, someone had reported bed bugs in their room…338. I contacted Expedia customer service, and they tried to phone the hotel to request a refund for the two nights my employee spent in that room. No one answered the phone after several attempts. If you check in, check your bedding!

There blood stains on the sheets on the hide-a-bed. The room had a bad odor. Not sure what it was. The carpet was dirty and I notice large stains on the carpet. It needed a good cleaning. We notice dry cereal particles under the hide-a-bed and other trash items. We were very disappointed with this experience.

The property was good for the price. Can definitely tell it’s an older building and despite being a non smoking floor the 3rd floor hallway still smelt smoky. The room however did not smell smoky so that was okay with us. Overall 8/10 stay. The staff was great. The hotel itself was okay.

filthy/very stained bed spread. very broken bed base it protruded so far i tripped on it. was offered roomchange/ to a suite/ which was worse than the last room/ everything is disgustingly stained. doors to closet/bathroom/bedroom/do not close properly. i could go on but lets get to the great breakfast we read about in you're reviews F.Y.I. I'm a retired chef but seriously not picky. my wife asked me to bring her back to our room 4 things. a bagel/3 sausage's/an apple/and granola. bagels were stale and as hard as a rock/sausages were obviously overcooked and reheated numerous times/i was embarrased for you guys. apples had brown spots all over them. JEEZ! and the chafer had crusted on scrambled egg from the day before as I was the first person at 7:00 to eat their. want more?

Hair in the shower on the toilet seat and the sink, desk was sticky. The walls had dried up food on them dried blood spot on the quilt. The bed was halfway made up. Staff did not greet upon walking into the hotel. Just a simple can I help you not a warm welcome at all, No one even asked about how was our stay, just terrible

The size of the room for the price was very good! The room was clean, the only issue we had was the top sheet was stained and could not determine if it had been cleaned. Plenty of towers and wash cloths. The WiFi was not working. Breakfast was good and the coffee was good. But Expedia has messed up the bill!

room was comfortable and clean, ac worked very well, tv could have been better, several options on the remote such as sleep or close caption was not programmed to work so volume in movies was poor. The last night we stayed the internet went out and was not repaired . Spoke to the desk in the evening said they were getting someone to fix, the next morning still no internet mentioned to the desk clerk on duty and she had no idea it was out. breakfast was excellent until Saturday morning . Apparently hours are different so there was nothing to eat until after 7

The rooms and hallways need updating. The bath fixtures were newer but the room was in poor condition. The furniture in the room was not good and needed replacing and the linens did not smell clean. The staff was very friendly! Breakfast was ok.

older hotel ready for some renovation, outside facade looks great, wooden floors creak with every step, thin walls make it somewhat noisy too, common areas could use some extra attention when cleaning, staff nice, a few somewhat laid back, had a room toward road and you easily hear traffic, probably will try another hotel if back in this area

The property has all the tools to have a higher rating. The 2 queen suite was very comfy with a small living room and a bedroom door that provided privacy and quiet. Breakfast was good with scrabbled egg, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, milk, coffee, etc., maintained by a very nice staff member. (Guests, pleae be nice and leave a tip once in a while!!!) The lower rating was due to very fixable items that need addressed (234) . Shower curtain rod bracket was coming OUT of the wall causing the curtain to droop so much it leaked alot of water on floor; LR remote didn't work; microwave was burned up inside to the point you could smell it; telephone was filthy! These are all things that should be on the daily check list. The pool needed raked but water seemed clean. The internet was down (which the front desk failed to mention) 2.5 out of our 3 days but those things happen. I will be in the area again and will try again but call ahead and address these things. The area was convenient and quiet. The potential is there for this property.

We were first given a room that was still occupied. The next room had a TV that did give access to streaming or cable. We were told maintenance was gone for the day. Finally we were upgraded to suite at no additional charge.

I did like the staff, breakfast was nice. The rooms were set up nice with pictures, the lighing wa a great. However, ther was no hot water to was up or shower, our first night there was a horror. The key card would not open our door because the battery needed to be changed. They changed the battery so now we have to wait for them to reprogram the lock. All night NO BODY. We were told if we leave our room we will not be able to get back in so we stayed in the room as held hostages until the mornging when some one came. After I requested a refund or change my room. The small refrigerator in the room stop worki g so etime during the night. The pool was not being cleaned. The carpet in the hall had stains. They did clean it the next day after we talked about it. We were there thu, fri, sat and Sunday the hot water came on we checked out Monday about 2am. This place may be great when thier guest are Caucasian but not African-American. The majority of them left Saturday night and Sunday is when the hot water came back on. How else would you conclude that. I'm very disappointed and expect better because the facility is really awesome. The staff are extraordinary and heplful. But because of the doorlock and hot water I have to say I was very unhappy and will not stay there again.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff and management truly understand Customer Service. Bryan went over and above to help me out with a late check in. I was even able to talk to the general manager, over the phone, for approval of some specific needs. Tabatha and her team are truly outstanding. Thank you!

We booked 2 rooms here for a softball tournament stay, and upon trying to check in for the second room, we were told at that time that there were no rooms available. We were informed that they tried to call us earlier in the day but discovered they had entered the phone number incorrectly. We had also called ahead for roll away beds and were promised 3, but upon check in were told that they did not even have roll away beds at the hotel. Key cards had to be reset almost every time we tried to re-enter the room. Room was relatively clean but barely anything in the way of blankets or extras sheets, especially with a pull out couch. Fridge was barely cold enough to keep drinks cold. Absolutely not worth it for the price we paid...we will not be staying here again.

Nice accommodations but I had anticipated being closer to the Interstate. We were towing an antique vehicle on a trailer and the hotel was quite a ways around Aiken SC on narrow roads. Coming at night in the rain with downed trees on roadsides from the hurricane last month was a nail biter. I think hotel.com shifted my search from the Country Inn closer to the Interstate without me noticing. I will have to pay better attention next time.

Place is well ubicated. Clean and smells very nice. Breakfast not adequate if you got there at 8:00 am no butter no eggs and they had no more to put out. Not enough food for how many people were there. Everything else was good very close to all the happenings in town.

Property is off a cery busy street but has lots of options for shopping. The nights I satyed there were very noisy guests next door. But overall my stay was pleasant and they also offer a good selection for free breakfast

We checked in at 3pm, and when we arrived at our room, the cleaners had just left (we assume), everything was clean, however some trash was left on the floor by the bed and the shower hadn’t drained from being clean. There was a constant drip from the shower. Breakfast was amazing, best hotel breakfast we’ve had. Hotel was quiet and in a quiet location. Would stay here again.

Upon entering the facility the welcome mat was dirty and the room itself was not very clean. We we were staying in a suite so expectations were a little high, so we were disappointed. The tv was dirty no remote until we retrieved it from the front desk and we had to request batteries. The refrigerator in the room didn’t work and was replaced a day later with a much smaller one. The free breakfast was good if you got there early, except for the broke coffee pot. Also, the breakfast was cleaned up before the time listed, so we missed out ☹️

This place was a gem! The water was hot and had great pressure in the shower. The air conditioning was cold. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were truly friendly and the gentleman overseeing breakfast was fabulous. A taste of real southern hospitality!
