The facility was good. I just happened to be there when there were problems. That the elevator was not working was beyond their control. Climbing four flights of steps until the company responded was a bit much for someone eighty-one years old. Because I wanted to relax and rest, I was disappointed that there were problems with the TV. At first, it would not come on. When it did, it couldn't be cut off, which means I did not have a restful night. The breakfast was just fair. A quality upgrade would help. Yet, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. While there is a dispenser for body wash, people should bring their own soap as I usually do to wash my face. The setting is very peaceful. At another time, except for the breakfast, I could have given a very good rating.

My second time staying here. Easy in & out. Breakfast was much better than I expected. People were using the pool. It wasn’t packed but there were people around enjoying the property. East convenient parking.

Second elevator out of service during 3 day stay. Room was not cleaned during entire 3 day stay even after asking front desk for assistance.

Overall great stay! Our only issue was we booked this hotel because of the pool and saw it was open when we arrived later Friday eve, so next day was a gorgeous hot day we planned to use pool and it was closed all day ! No clear explanation why, to say the least our grandkids were totally upset.

we booked to stay for a softball tournament. We usually stay there when we play in Aiken however we were not told the pool was out of commission until we checked in. They provided us with minimal towels and when we requested more, they said they did not have any clean ones requested extra blankets which we were not given. We could’ve very least been given a discount due to the lack of quality of state that we have been used in the past.

It's a fairly new hotel so everything is in good order and fresh in appearance. The rooms were well appointed and clean. The view from the window was mostly trees and the facility was well positioned off the main road. The receptionist was very welcoming.

I stay at this hotel whenever I’m in Aiken. I was disappointed this time with a non-stop running toilet, and the front desk had nobody available to fix it, so I had to switch rooms. I was downgraded to a smaller room, and then one night I was there, the noise level overnight was beyond unacceptable. There was a huge group that made way too much noise in the lobby and running up and down the halls late at night. I got no sleep and had an early flight so that was less than fun. I did call the front desk and he said he’d ask them to quiet down. That was short lived. I understand a hotel can only do so much, but as much as I travel, I’d honestly say that noise level was some of the worst I’ve experienced and staff should be able to take action to prevent or minimize that kind of thing. I pay good money for a nice hotel and don’t want that level of noise. Ironically, on my last day, the toilet in the new room began running continuously too, just like the first room!

I have a lot of apprehension with hotels these days. No matter how much i research, most of them are not as clean or quiet or drug free as they claim online. The stay here exceeded my expectations right from the beginning with checkin with the nice staff. As soon as we walked into the room, we were very pleased with how clean everything was and how spacious it was; all of which were true to their online claims. highly recommend!

Elevators were a little slow for hotel with only four floors. The bed was too hard for me. Other than those two things, everything else was great! The breakfast was good, and hot! Service was good too. And hotel staff were very nice.

My partner and I stayed here for one night but we both enjoyed our stay. Check-In was a little slow possibly due to staffing however the process was quick once it was started. Our room was comfortable enough for both of us and the bathroom was clean. Beds were very comfortable. There was a large family reunion happening the same weekend we were there, but overall the hotel was quiet and we didn't have any issues with noise. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for any quick visits.

Housekeeping rifled through one of our suitcases after the first night. We decided to put the do not disturb sign on the door and didn’t have the room cleaned after that. We went down and got new towels from the front desk each day. Other than that the stay was fine.

Only concern was lack of early check in availability. I flew in the morning and wanted an early check in. I called the hotel multiple times in the week leading up to the reservation, including on the day of, and never got a straight answer if early check in was available, and if so, what time. I travel all the time and ask this question of hotels frequently. Sometimes it’s available, sometimes it’s not. Sometimes it costs money, sometimes it doesn’t. The frustrating part was not getting a clear answer after 4-5 phone calls over the course of a week. Ultimately I was able to check in about an hour early, for a $10 fee. Compared to how other hotels handle this situation, that seemed unreasonable to me. Otherwise I have no complaints. Clean hotel, quality room, good location, etc

The staff were professional, friendly and approachable. Greeted us with a smile each time they saw us. Extremely helpful and courteous. Our room was exactly what I had requested online. The complimentary breakfast was full of variety. Something for everyone. Brand name items, flavourful and all the condiments you could think of to go with it. Thank you Holiday Inn Express Suites Aiken, SC we will be staying with you all again when we get up your way!

Loved the shower, it had no tub, and the sliding doors didn't allow water to get on the floor. Excellent choices for breakfast, even had chocolate milk, which is a must for me. I have never seen such a variety of snacks and drinks. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was not up to par for Holiday inn Express. Eggs were cold or not available, breads were not replenished and stale, no cereal.. generally a disappointment and certainly not what we've grown to expect at Holiday inn Express, which is one of the reasons we choose to go there
