It was a decent value. I chose the motel because they allow pets for extra charge. The breakfast was included with the nightly rate and it was average. Best feature was the lobby, pool, miniature golf, and pickleball courts.

This time the pool was very dirty with gobs of hair floating around. The hot tub was so strong with bleach it was unpleasant. The whole facility is very outdated and needs remodeling and a thorough cleaning. The rooms were better than the rest of the facility but we were annoyed with the maids standing in the hall wanting us to leave.

Such an amazing property. Pool tables, mini golf, foosball, ping pong table, heated pool and spa. Breakfast biscuits and gravy were awesome and 24/7 coffee was great. Nice computer lab to work in. Hands down the best hotel ive ever stayed at!

Front dest lady was kind but when I called house keeping, no one answered. Towel was looks very dirty old. Hotel bathroom need to be disinfect clean. Blanket smells like rotten cigarettes smalls. I will never go again. I’m surprised they serve eggs.

The area around the toilet and tub was filthy. Someone needs to train their staff as to what is acceptable and what is truly disgustingly dirty. There were also bugs in the bed!

My past experience with Red Lion and guest ratings and price were why I selected this hotel, however, it did not meet expectations. While the front desk staff was courteous and efficient, and housekeeping did a full refresh and tidy when we just wanted a quick off-day of emptying trash and making beds, we couldn’t ignore the fact that hall and stair carpets were sooo dirty plus other issues in the room. We found something sticky on our room carpet right in a traffic area. The room had newer furnishings but the same old carpet and even more worn-out bathroom, featuring peeling paint and a broken grab bar in the shower. The baseboards hadn’t been cleaned in ages and the sink drain was dirty and cracked around it. The bathroom counter was forgotten during the last cleaning. I got the impression that Red Lion acquired this hotel from another brand, but before putting their name on it, they should have done a lot more to improve the reputation. I won’t choose this hotel in St. George again.

We found condom wrappers on our floor in the room and hair stuck to the shower walls. The room and halls smelled very musty and lighting was rough. Our room window opened to a brick wall and there was a pretty old, not great AC system only running part time. The breakfast was meager and cold and it was pretty dirty and crowded in the dining facility, but you couldn't take stuff away to eat in rooms or outside, so we stood. The staff was nice, so there's a positive! Location was solid too.

There was cockroaches in lobby first room we were put in was dirty whole bunch of hair on the bed and little bugs on table tops, we needed to be switched room and the second was cleaner but the bathroom needs a deep clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating just the cleaning needs lots of work and there shouldn’t be roaches in lobby not a great look for the state of the hotel

All around our two night stay was just very average. The Red Lion Hotel hasn't been updated for quite some time and the room was generally run down. The beds were uncomfortable, with mattresses that were hard and bouncy at the same time, with sleeping ruts worn in. They were supposed to be queens but they felt smaller than that. The bathroom was sort of clean, with dirt, dust, and grime built up in corners and crevices. The breakfast was average, offering waffles, sugar cereal, canned peaches, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and toast. No fresh or healthy options. In the position side, the staff were nice and welcoming. This property does have fun amenities for families and kids. There is a small pool, mini golf, basketball, pickleball, and an indoor table game that we didn't see but heard. Maybe table pool? We did get a good deal on the room rate, but we won't be staying here again.

Very nice service. My only problem was our room was right next to the door that lets you outside and that door was SO loud. It kept me up all night. It felt like someone was trying to break into our room. I barely got any sleep but that’s because I’m a lighter sleeper. Something to be aware of if you are in an end unit.

The place was ok for the price. Our room was on the inside of the main building with the window looking at a wall. The lighting in the room was very limited. The pillows were lumpy. Please inform your guests when you assign a room about the fact you cant see the outside. Very claustrophobic!.

You can tell the property is old. There was two holding the shower head together and so you could not adjust the height. The door would hit the toilet when you opened and closed the bathroom door.

This is a motel. The room was dark, dingy, and had no exterior windows. There was not enough light and no obviously no sunlight. There were no overhead lights and the desk lamps were not sufficient. It felt like we were in a basement and couldn't escape. The motel was too noisy -- people were loud and loitering in the hallway. It was impossible to sleep. We didn't partake in any of the amenities and couldn't wait to leave. Luckily we were able to depart a day early.

I had never stayed at a Red Lion before, this one looked nice online but it wasn't worth the upgrade over other hotels I stayed on the same trip. My room was noisy, you could hear other guests through the walls and ceiling as well as the giant gaps in the door that led to the parking lot. The gap was so big that it let daylight, sound, and cold air in. I also disliked the room, it had a small table but no chairs. No coffee maker in the room, I really dislike having to go all the way to the lobby for my first cup of coffee. Speaking of the lobby, neither the breakfast area nor the hot tub are big enough to accommodate the number of guests they have. Breakfast was a disaster and the three times I went to check the hot tub it was full to capacity with people, so I never got to use it. Very disappointed, for the money there are better equipped and maintained hotels around St George.

Only 2 issues. All else was great. 1-Need more options available for bottled water. No vending machines and out at front desk. 2-The $100 dollar hold on credit card takes too long to return. If someone was needing that hold it’s not reasonable for it to hold that long.

Red Lion Hotel is a bit aged and could use some updating. Aside from that, the staff was very nice and allowed us a late checkout time since we were participating in the St. George Marathon. Along with that they provided us grab and go breakfast's the day of the race since we had to board buses for the race as early as 3:30 a.m. That was an exceptionally nice touch and very much appreciated. Plus they had all the right foods in the grab 'n go for a long distance race.

The bed was very comfortable. The venue for the event I was participating in was great and the staff was friendly. One draw back of the property is that there is no elevator, so make sure to ask for floor one if that is an issue.

When my shower broke after I clutched after falling in the shower, the Maintenance man of the evening was courtesy enough to shop vac the metal and bits in the tub, but I didn't get the bar replaced that evening or the next day.

Everything started out OK until they had a clerical problem and knocked on our door at 11:20 PM waking my wife and kids up in a panic wondering if something was wrong if somebody was going to be trying to threaten their lives. I had to leave to go do some business in Mesquite And they kept calling and telling me that I needed to fix their clerical air as an emergency even though I told the front desk I would be by to take care of it as soon as possible. It wasn’t until I got extremely angry at their persistence that they finally said we can handle this in the morning as I was talking with him at 1 AM without having any support from the third-party that booked the room for us. The hotel was in good shape. The room was clean, but the way the situation was handled could have been improved.

We chose this hotel for the value and also for being decently located on our roadtrip. It’s a very big conference hotel and the decor is a bit outdated (but not shabby or falling apart). Very clean! They have a second floor with rooms, but no elevators - so going up and down with suitcases was not fun. Make sure to request a room on first floor ahead of time if you can’t do stairs. The breakfast was ok, but very crowded. We waited about 20 minutes for the waffle maker machine line. There is an indoor pool and the smell of chlorine is very strong in the lobby area and hallways (but not in the rooms) - not a big deal me, but for people very sensitive to scents - something to consider. Positive things: very clean, decent beds, REALLY nice shower pressure, and good air con. All what we were looking for in an overnight stay.

They put us right by the basketball courts. Then a huge group of athletes were housed on the same wing and they were loud..banged on our door scaring us. The "free" breakfast was typical hotel food so no expectations there, but the coffee was so watered down it had no flavor just brown water. I would not stay here again.

Our rooms were great. Clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and out door pickleball and basketballs courts. . While they do provide breakfast the wait for breakfast was 40+ minutes long for a mediocre selection of toast, the waffle maker line was 45 minutes long. There was one small tray of sausage and powdered eggs. No fruit, yogurt or other options as are typically presented with a continental breakfast. Seating was limited. So if breakfast is not part of the draw of your stay I would 100% recommend the hotel.

Was there for Ironman 70.3 event and needed reasonable place to stay and this fit the need. Comfortable and clean room, nothing special/average. Hotel restaurant less than average. Only served buffets. Service average.
