Rodeway Inn St George North - Near Pioneer Park

Good value for the least expensive motel in St George. Parking lot is tight and don’t bother with breakfast unless you’re a cereal and milk person. I stay here when the other hotels are full and charging over $150. It’s cheap, it shows it, but everything works

Hard to find parking late also property a little out dated the shower faucet was hard to turn on the staff in the front desk was nice and with good spirit made me feel welcomed

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. A/C worked well. Parking was decent and well lit.

The lights between the beds did not work, neither did the receptacles. The shower curtain fell down as soon as I went to open it. I could not get it back up myself. I had to go the following morning because it was late at night, to have the office attendant come down and put it back up. He had the same issue I did it didn’t fit and they actually had it masking taped on one side holding it together, so it was not adjustable. When he thought he had it up, he left and as soon as I went to get in the shower, it fell on me. Unfortunately there was only one towel one hand towel and one washcloth so I showered with no curtain and had to finish getting dressed before I could drive the floor because that was the only towel. The beds need pillows. There were two small pillows on both sides that were not regular size pillows. They were more of the size of like a throw pillow from my couch. The bed itself was comfortable if I had pillows. Use the pool, which was a great temperature, but they are missing one of the railings for the pool as well.

Mattresses were extremely bowed and hard. Bathroom door was kicked in, no stopper for tub or sink, no shampoo, no lense on bathroom light just a bare dim lightbulb, a half inch of dirt in the corner by the tub. We had to ask front desk for three missing light bulbs as they were missing and room was very dark and dinghy. No hot tube as advertised. WHAT A DUMP!

Limited parking

First, this property is rated 7+ on Hotels.com but I don't understand how that can be. I'm not here to say anything negative about the property. It is what you would expect in this price range and from this type of property. Our room was just fine. Simple, two beds, a table, a TV, bathroom and nothing special. No plastic bag for laundry. No hangers in the clothes rack. Furniture was not really sturdy. Back panel was not attached to nightstand. One of the beds tipped up when I sat on the edge. Again, nothing I would say that was bad, or wrong, just a plain old, simple, roadside motel. Our biggest disappointment, and this was a big deal for us, was that the pool was not working. The desk agent said it was because the heater was not working right now and they were getting it fixed. But, looking at the pool, it was clear it has not been operating in some time. The pool was the reason we selected this property, so that was a significant issue for us and resulted in being quite disappointed.

Terrible! The pool Wasn’t clean, there was leftover food in our refrigerator that was melted, we didn’t have towels, and the towels felt like sandpaper. There were also chips on the floor

So if you look at the reviews on Google, the manager replies to all the bad reviews. But if the owner was honest, he’d tell the manager this place is what it is. The whole building needs a major revamp. I am not a prissy type, I’m good with simple and nothing lavish. In saying that, nothing about this place is up to standards in cleanliness. Our room was horrific. There were spattered blood stains on the ceiling, huge disgusting stains all over the carpet, the furniture is broken and deteriorating, our mini fridge looked about 40 years old, there were exposed wires, I got shocked when I turned on a light, all the lighting was dim and depressing, the paint is old and tacky…it’s really sad. There is no tlc to this place. To be honest, the room felt like a drug den. We were shown another room, non smoking, but you could see smoke stains on the curtains and it stunk awful. This place is for people who really don’t care about hygiene and don’t mind filth. The hotel needs new everything. But our story ended happily, hotels.com gave us a full refund and we found a much nicer place down the street. Oh and I think this hotel says continental breakfast (?) it in fact does not. Really sad there aren’t some laws in place that don’t shut a place like this down. It was gross.

The check in was quick and easy, then it was all down hill. The room carpet looked like a herd of cows with muddy feet ran across it. The non smoking room reeked of tobacco, the sheets were stained and had hairs on them, the trash cans were full from things the previous tenants had left. There were holes in the interior doors, and the bath tub was stained. When we asked for a different room we were told they were all booked up, and all they could offer was a refund. The dilema was that the only available room at a hotel we could find was 35 miles away, and 5X the price. Not happy at all!!!

Staff was rude and unhelpful. We had a room with a king bed, first off we noticed bugs. No refund was given when we brought it to there attention.

Both beds had several stains on the sheets as well as several strands of hair. Bathroom and floor were also not clean.

Very nice staff, clean, nice room.

Way overpriced. TV stand was heavily damaged big crack in the ceiling up over the bathtub. Heater did not work properly. Neighbors ran around their room making noise waking me up early.

The first room we got must not have been remodeled yet. One of the 2 beds sagged about 6-8 inches when you were on it. Beds were better in the second room we got. The breakfast consisted of coffee, cold cereal and muffins that ran out on day 2. There was quite a bit of noise at night.

The bed was very comfortable, room had a fridge and microwave.

Room Ac did not blow cool air and curtain was not able to shut properly upon arrival to the room. They did however make great accommodation for my littles and I being on the ground floor

Property on the outside was very plain however, Inside the room seemed fresh and nice. Beds and such very comfortable. The Shower turn on did not work, so we could not take a shower and did not have time to get that fixed before we had to leave. No one was at the desk to report this too when we checked out. Room 134

Actual room did not look like the pictures. Pictures make it look newly remodeled and my room certainly wasn't. I had requested a first floor room, but the host said no single bed rooms were available on the first floor. I said a two bed room was fine if it was on the first floor. Maybe the first floor hasn't been remodeled yet? One of the beds had a stain on the folded back part of the sheet which should have been obvious to housekeeping. Handle for the sink faucet was not attached and fell off. Toilet handle was also loose and felt as if it would fall off. Cover on bathroom vent/light was missing and had paper shoved around it. Room had a stale smell which eventually seemed to go away once I got the a/c plugged in and running. Paint was peeling in places in the bathroom and mattress was old - it had a visible dip in the middle. I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid, but I at least expected the room to look like the pictures.

It's a place to sleep. Not terrible, but not such good amenities. There was no glasses for rinsing your mouth. Road noise from traffic is excessive. AC works good. My issue is Hotels.com. I'll have to file a claim since they did not pay the hotel, even after the clerk made many attempts. Zero stars for Hotels com.

The springs were popping throught the mattress. The walls were so thin, I was up all night listening to footsteps in the room next to me. The fan in the bathroom was hanging down and the shower water was hot been then would go scoulding hot throughout the shower. Will never stay here again

Well, the bed was uncomfortable. Like sleeping on a trampoline it was so bouncy. Mattress was probably old. The fridge wasn’t balanced and the door was rusted inside the edge while it wasn’t even mounted on the fridge straight. Had the key tub but the controls were all removed so it couldn’t even be used. Door to the room wasn’t set properly so it had a small gap along the locking side and bottom. AC worked but it was loud and sounded like a dog scratching at the door the entire time it ran. Had to be at court in the morning down the street and I can honestly say I’ve never been so happy to leave somewhere and go to court. I’d have probably slept better in my car in the parking lot.

Quite and safe, with excellent staff and service.

The place is a certified dump. No common amenities, not even paper cups and no comfortable chair. As bad as the facilities were, the desk manager was rude and refused to provide help for a non working TV! He yelled at me for asking. Your company should not be associated with this place.

I had to book this room For my son who was stuck in St. George. I was not around, and called the hotel to let them know I wouldn’t be there to give them the CC for incidentals. They were very helpful and said they would t take the deposit if he was alone. I was very thankful for their staff

I got in town from a.late night flight around 3:30 am and the office was closed. The note said to ring the bell, which I promply did and no one showed. I was stranded without a hotel room...so I was forced to find another hotel. When I called the next day, they told me I was a "no-show:. When I explained I was on a flight and could not make contact, they didn't offer any resolution and rold me I needed to deal with the lodging agency. Will NEVER do that again!!!!!!

Staff was excellent. Late check-in/check out times and cheap pricing makes Rodeway Inn a convenient option.

Waited for a front desk staff to extend stay. People in a room near by were fighting/arguing so tried to get help. No one around.

Customer service staff named Katrina does not belong in hospitality industry. I went to the front desk to let them (manager and Katrina) know that i booked thru Expedia a king size bed and not a 2 queen bed (its actuallt a double sized bed and not queen). She said tv is broken and the queen beds are more expensive (which was untrue cuz i booked a king bed for me and my husband and a 2 "queen bed" under my sister's name for the same day and i knew the cost. Katrina responded: Either you take that or go find another hotel! (At late night??) Instead of apologizing for not giving me the room i paid. She doesn't belong in customer service department. In housekeeping..yes. my husband who was more offended went to the front desk to confront her because he believes that if i am caucasian like him, i won't be treated that way, but she wasnt there. So he got the manager to make sure Katrina gets the message. I believed too its a racial descrimination.

I like how it’s in the heart of St. George. Very asesible to many things. They need to make a few minor repairs. The mini fridge needs to be defrosted as the door can’t close all the way.

Clean room and convenient location to visit Zion national park. I needed to figure out TV input and sound, but it worked out.

I would definitely stay there again. The stuff was really nice clean room and was able to sleep. There’s a grocery store in Kentucky fried chicken buffet McDonald’s all nearby close to the freeway. Bed was comfortable.

Didn’t have King Size Bed room which was booked months in advance. Said could give us Queen size but was a Full. Bed sheets had stains in them, no breakfast like photos show, overall just want not a good experience.

It was ok. The desk attendant was a nice man. When we got in the room, the bathroom door was off the bottim hinge and he came and helped fix it since there was no maintenance peson on site and he couldnt move us to a different room. No breakfast was out Sunday morning at 9am. I dont know if we missed it, but it didnt look like any had been out. 9am is early to end breakfast, imo.

You get what you pay for, but it was very clean. Plan on eating breakfast somewhere else.

Good for an inexpensive and aged motel. Beds are firm, rooms are large. Continental breakfast is only packaged muffins and cereal.

By the price we knew were weren't in for much. I was still a bit surprised that there was no towel racks and nohair dryer when the pictures show both. There was no lightbulb in the bed lamp. Those things were just annoying. For breakfast there was no one at the desk and breakfast was no where to be found. We had to leave so I was slightly frustrated with the service.

They used to have a great breakfast, but now not worth walking to the office for. That was disappointing.

The shower head was moldy. Several light bulbs were burned out, so it was dark. The sheets were not clean. There was something on it. The freezer was dirty and had a buildup of ice. It also looked like there was mold in the ice buildup in the freezer. I booked an ADA accessible room and when I checked in it was sold out. They advertised complimentary breakfast from 6am to 9am. We checked out at 7:58am. The office was locked with the lights off. There was no free breakfast. I had to ring the doorbell to get someone so I could check out. It was a horrible place. I will never stay there again.
