Stayed 1 night

I wouldn't normally complain about a less-than-average stay, but the room at this place was about $350 a night and in terrible condition. The carpet was two different colors, a couple of the lightbulbs were burned out, and the coffee maker looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. I will say the staff was excellent, but aside from that, it was a miserable night. The main reason for my negative review is that we stayed on the 9th floor on a Saturday night in August, facing Main Street, and it was so loud that we got no sleep at all. The worst part was an outdoor band playing at the bar across the street until midnight that was so loud they might as well have been in our room. The traffic, sirens, and every single person talking below came through the closed windows as clear as day. Obviously, the street noise isn't within the hotel's control, but the fact that the windows were sealed so poorly that it sounded like an all-night rave in our room is definitely something they can improve on. We decided to just suck it up and not complain to the staff because they were absolutely fantastic and none of this was their fault anyway. However, for $350+ a night, I would never stay here again. I've stayed in rooms that cost half as much that were far better maintained and far quieter, even in busy areas. Overall, it was just a bad experience. If you do stay here on a summer weekend, I strongly recommend requesting a room that doesn't face Main Street and if you pay more than $20

The staff was super friendly and check in was a breeze. We were there for a RC Rush game so the location was why we initially chose that hotel, but I’m so glad we did! The hotel/room were very clean and stylish. The entire stay was great and they will definitely be my new go to when trying in Rapid City! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Half of the rooms are facing the train track! We were waking up every hour from 3am! Half of the hotel wanted to change rooms and I was the lucky one others had to tolerate the noise! Even when they changed us the room I could hear a loud noise (either from a party or from a bar) and the traffic noise! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel

The hotel feels worn out. There are some updates, but more are needed. The windows were dirty. The air conditioning was crazy loud.

We had a bad experience at the restaurant. Our server was rude and served all surrounding tables while we kept waiting for our orders. When we asked what the issue was he responded that he was waiting for our bread service to be defrosted! Charging $10.00 to serve frozen bread??? Ridiculous. We left without eating anything. Shame on you.
