Super 8 by Wyndham Rapid City

This is a pretty basic hotel room, but by no means was this dirty or unpleasant. I come to Rapid City often and I plan on coming here again at some point. I got a great value for this day.

The place was dirty, half of our outlets didn’t work, the staff had very poor hygiene, the breakfast was a joke and the pool was closed. Which was inconvenient considering the pool was one of the main reasons why we stayed there. We were very disappointed. And not to mention our whole floor smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. We had 2 young kids with us so that was disgusting.

The sink in our room was very backed up. The sink never drained through the stay. It was disgusting. I ended using the tub for a sink. The key cards were constantly canceling out so we had many trips to the front desk. When I went to inform about the sink the desk person was absent for what seemed like quite awhile without checking around.

Room was clean and staff was very courteous, no problems.
