Great hotel for the price. But beware of unexpected fees when you get there. Of course i know a deposit for damage is expected and i did get it back but i wasnt prepared for all the other fees. But even with the fees the price still wasnt terrible for the stay. The only other issues i had was one of the elevators was down the whole time we were there so during check in and check out times it was hectic with all the people and the vending machine took my money and didnt give me the drink i paid for. But it was clean it was family friendly and the kids loved it. I would definitely come back

Great location. Newly remodeled rooms - very nice! Every room faces the beach. Great pool and lots of kid activities. Jetty's was great for breakfast (and kids eat free!). Close to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect. Beautiful view of beach from balcony and from inside room. That was most enjoyable. Everything was clean and updated in the room. Everyone was super friendly. Perfect location near sites, shops, and restaurants. The hotel itself had plenty of activities especially for kiddos. Family friendly. We were very pleased.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. Everything was well-maintained, and we really appreciated how clean everything was throughout the hotel. There were also fun things for the kids to enjoy, which made our stay even better. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!

When I went into my room there was feces on the toilet handle, toilet handle was broken, hair all over the floor and shower, toilet wasn’t flushed!! I call the front desk immediately and it took 3hrs before housekeeping came to clean; 24 hrs before maintenance came to fix the toilet handle. Also on the 6th floor soon as you step off the elevator there’s mouse hole right across. I would advise visitor to go somewhere “DON’T” go there!!

This property is honestly a joke. We werent even there for FOUR HOURS before we found multiple live cockroaches in our room, and all over our luggage and bed actually. On the third floor of the hotel. We went immediately to the front desk who offered a new room but ultimately brushed us off. I have now reached out three times as she promised a refund for the other nights we canceled our stay for, minus the one night we “stayed” (we left because we were so disgusted) and began a drive back to Minnesota we hadn’t planned to make for another 4 days. Ultimately so disappointed in the lack of customer service and horrible communication from this property. Do better.

The phones in any of the rooms do not work , not sure why they are still in the rooms . We tried to call the front desk regarding a non working toilet and had to walk down when we were told they do not work . Also u have to put in 61on thd tv remote to get the TV guide and its not the normal guide which shows u what is playing on each channel it just shows u the channel name with notions or programs , very frustrating . At night when u just want yo sit and watch something you have to search for 1/2 an hour to figure out what to watch and try to figure out if it just started or has been on for a while . Seems very out of date for an expensive hotel . My husband said the WiFi sucks we could barely download an email on his phone . My phone not such a problem but we have different internet providers .

We enjoyed the area and the staff were fantastic. The only thing I didn’t like was no carpet on the floor in room was ok, but, walking barefoot your feet were filthy black. Perhaps change flooring to something else that would not be so dirty.

Checked in with my Best friend and I was put on the 2nd floor, and she was put on the 7th floor. I was told I would have an ocean view. (Ah, way off to the left, barely) 2nd floor was not renovated yet. Shower curtain rode falling. My friend on the 7th floor had a renovated room. Noise-There was a band in the bar and the bass was so loud till midnight and it was a week night! Transportation-we as a group purchased a ride in the hotel shuttle. We got off the ship and was waiting in the pick up area at 9:20. Waited. Shuttles for other places came and went. We called the hotel and they said it would be 10-15 minutes. The time came a went. We called several other times and got the same answer. We waited over an hour and half. Finally had to pay for an Uber out of pocket. Very disappointing.

We stayed here for a nearby convention. While we technically could see the ocean from the room, the view was much more of the roof and air conditioning units. The entrance to the room was more motel style as the walkway and doors to the rooms were outside. The room was clean and comfortable, but definitely nothing fancy.

First off, the room they gave us was occupied with a sleeping person who was not happy when I opened the door. Good thing he had the latch done on the door. Then the next room we got, the bathroom door wouldn't close and the shower head pointed out which sprayed the bathroom floor when I turned the shower on. That made a huge mess which required most of our towels to clean it up. The curtains didnt close so we had to use hangers to cinch them closed because the street light was pouring into the room. We did get a free breakfast out of the deal and that was all. There was loud construction outside of our room early and workers at our balcony door working. All in all i was not pleased with the stay.

I was extremely frustrated with the unhelpfulness of the staff when my reservation was incorrectly booked. They told me to step away, saying it would take a while to fix, which was unacceptable. It took me just 10 minutes to cancel and rebook over the phone. Their lack of support caused me significant stress, ultimately leading me to leave in the middle of the night due to anxiety. We called and spoke with hotel guest rep Debbie. She asked for ETA. Stated 3pm because we have a wedding to get ready for that starts at 5pm. She said no problem you can do pre-check in. We get there at 3pm and can't check in because computer system is down so hotel rep tells us we will call you around 4pm or so to notify you when you can check in. So we had to go to our daughter's hotel room down the road to get dressed and ready for the wedding. Went to wedding and reception then finally checked in at 9pm. Not happy that we had to go to another hotel to check in

I thought the staff was outstanding and they went above and beyond in their customer service. Texting us, helping us at breakfast, housekeeping finding a lost item and returning it to us. I could tell they were updating the hotel as well. We were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend it.

Property and Expedia charged me $40 for transportation to cruise port terminal (uber would have been $10). Apparently this is a parking fee (we flew in, no car). Desk clerk and then manager were not kind in addressing this issue. They said that they are not responsible for how Expedia has this "free" on their website. I had rated this hotel at a 5 out of 5 until this issue. Their customer service was very poor and unprofessional.

This is a fantastic location, on Seawall directly across from the water. The balcony is perfect for sitting and enjoying the sight and sound of the waves. Beds were comfy, and the room had everything I needed. Bonus; The hot water heats up instantly, and the pressure is great. I will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, we had a view of the pool and the ocean on the 3rd floor. The beds were so comfortable!! The eggs I ordered were delicious and so were the biscuits and gravy!! The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The elevator broke a couple times Its the only IHG ive been to that didnt have complimentary breakfast or coffee and juices to get yourself. With the cost of the hotel, the construction that wasnt advertised, the least they couldve done was comp breakfast and coffee and juices.

This resort was awesome! They had live music each night and a fun DJ at the poolside! Lots of interactive things to do and the view was gorgeous! Sam in the Jetty was so tender and took care of us when we dined in! Cole was a fast slinging bartender, honest and gave great suggestions for new beer to try! Such a magical stay. Will return. Just not through Expedia

Bed mattress and pillows were way too soft for my liking. Pool corner areas were full of filmy substances and lot of feathers. There were some guys using the pool that did not appear to belong. Might need wrist bands or better checks of anyone paying for drinks without a room tab. The crowds that pour in for the live music at Jiggers took up every single parking spot. I saw many cars with no parking permit tag and no one monitoring. My husband and I had to walk all the way around the building, after finally waiting on someone to leave after 11 pm. My husband is handicapped and it was not fun. The inside of the building is much better than the outside. The rust can’t be stopped but it does look ugly. Everything else was fine.

It's even a pity to give one star, it's the most terrible hotel I've ever seen in my life, it's dirty everywhere, the door doesn't lock, the phones don't work, the service is disgusting, the pool is very small, dirty, there were no towels for the pool, the rooms stink, the furniture is old, breakfasts are not included, for $650 per day it would be better to rent a house near the beach for six, I really regretted that we rested here.

Room was clean, Front desk lady was ok. She seem like she was tired. The large lady. Beach view was great. Balcony was also great. Had a couple of water bugs on their I had to remove. Was not expecting to pay 15$ a day for parking and some other fee 20$. This was the first hotel we ever had to do that. Is that a resort thing? The breakfast u have to pay for. Otherwise I would stay again.

It’s honestly not worth the price. Might as well invest a little more to the San Luis. You pay parking, the building and rooms are a bit old. The restrooms are good, updated and modern though. The cleaning and maintenance staff are honestly the most helpful and friendly. We got greeted and got the most friendliest goodbyes from them than the front staff. Breakfast staff was also polite and friendly.
