Probably poorly maintained and very tattered and torn down. Smelled, floors extremely dirty, beds not nice! Couch was the worst! Did not see any bed bugs as others have, but don’t believe web. Details. Very small 32 inch tv’s almost no channels to watch, A/C definitely not great. Outside area has homeless sleeping in alley in back. No lobby to speak of and no breakfast of any kind, for 130 a nigh you could at least get a banana or orange, and hot coffee! Nope! Fridge was good! And pool was maintained and good! Cheap accommodation near the sea wall! They know it and exploit it and charge way too much for what you get! I’d stay away!

This is a very ran down property! They couldn’t provide wash cloths, hairdryers , they locked themselves behind glass doors and would not talk to anyone. The air and heat didn’t work. Just a nasty place!

Double room but only one towel and wash cloth. No ice machine, tv barely worked. Stayed two nights and never saw housekeeping attend the room. AC worked but was very noisy

Location is good and parking is easy. But the staff, service, and room conditions are terrible.

The hotel is run down. Our bathroom door didn’t close. The air conditioner leaked water on the floor. There was no bucket for ice. The pillows are extremely flat. They had piles of sheets on top of the chairs in the lobby. The hotel is not beachfront as advertised

They only allow each room to have 2 towels at a time. You have to exchange those two out at the front desk when you need more. For two people this would be ok but not a family of 4. There were no towels for the pool. The rooms do not have any amenities like cups, ice bucket, hair dryer, coffee pot.

Very dirty hotel. I don’t think the sheets had been changed and the pillows were flat like a sheet of paper. No restroom in lobby. It looked as if it is ran and operated by an individual or family. Maybe lack of staff.

Sheets had stains all over them and the room was something i would expect in a cheap horror movie. I went to get ice and they dont have ice buckets. The manager gave me a garbage bag for my ice.

This was the worst hotel I have EVER seen! It is in horrible filthy condition! When I complained about it and decided we were not going to stay there I was offered a $25 credit for another time. This is absolutely ridiculous! I cannot believe that Hotels.com would even put this pace on their website! I booked a single king bed and was told when we checked in that they did not have any available and we would have to take a room with two beds. There was a 2x4 randomly in the middle of the floor and an open exposed electric socket. There is also no pool as advertised. Then when I went to tell them we would not be staying there I was told that I booked a two bed room. They lied to me and said they did not change it, but clearly I booked a single king bed room, I have proof! I am extremely disappointed in this hotel and Hotels.com for not doing the right thing and giving a full refund! I will no longer be using Hotels.com!!!

Chased into the room by extra large drag flies and some mantis on the wall. Killed a roach upon entering and the bedding has stains and blood stains along with plastic pieces on the sheets. There is no way the bedding was washed. Please remove this listing from Expedia. Protect your brand and get as far away from this location.

The pictures on Expedia do not do justice for this hotel, the rooms were nasty, the bed sheets weren't even washed, had semen and blood all in the sheets, pubic hair on the toilet. Overall never again would I book here

Bed bugs, cob webs, hair in bed, old food on floor, smelled like urine everywhere. Absolutely disgusting. Walked in and walked right out to check into a different hotel down the street. Staff argued with me that the room was disgusting. I have pictures to prove.

It was the worst room I've ever seen. 201, TV didn't work, filth and mold everywhere and I have many pictures. So I switched to 206 and the guy said I'm "lucky", and that room was just as foul. Worst ever. And they overcharged me for the pet fee.

The pictures provided online will justify the truth about the rooms. The cleaning is not good and there’s roaches.

Lobby and the room smelt disgusting and moldy. Sheets were not washed, couch was stained, room and walls were in terrible condition. Bathroom was moldy and not clean at all.

All wall outlets had wires hanging out of them, and the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. The sheets were stained. The curtains did not close. The floors were not mopped, leaving spills in several places. The shower was covered in hair. The door had to be slammed shut, and excessive force had to be used to get the door open. The staff were not helpful. There were homeless people sitting all around the property. People yelling from one of the rooms.

We were able to check in fine. The room smelled horrible. Mildew and mold everywhere. Bugs everywhere. Bedding looked gross and disgusting. Bugs were crawling in and out of the bathtub. I wanted to bring this up to the staff but reminded myself “you’re only here for 6 hours and then you’re gone”. Checking out was not customer friendly service either. Attempted checkout around 6:30/6:40 am. The door was locked and no staff in sight. So we left and came back in an hour. The door was STILL LOCKED. Another customer was in the waiting area. He said “they know I’m here but haven’t come back to help me”. So I started calling the number that was posted on the door. 3 calls and no answer!!!! By this time a 3rd customer had joined. Finally a lady unlocked the door and pushed it open. She was not friendly at all. Yes we the paying customers interrupted you doing laundry but us paying customers were trying to check out! She wasn’t nice or pleasant either. Worst experience ever.

The room was very basic. Mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows provided could barely be called a pillow. The tub was scary so i didnt even use it.

Extremely bad, bed uncomfortable, thin old pillows, thin old towels, worn out 70,s tub. Air conditioner made knocking noise and had a board for support, needs major renovation. Too much negative to list. Got there late

Fortunately the site is walking distance to the beach, grocery store, and a couple of good restaurants. The front desk guy was knowledgeable and polite. Our non-smoking room wreaked of smoke we stayed there for 4 days never had any housekeeping the toilet didn't work well light was out and they were always weird people lurking about... This shouldn't be more than a $40 or $50 a night room

Lots of room space but ac didnt cool much, one towel, bed sheets stains all over, old refrigerator and microwave. Outside garbage never got change of the two days staying there.

Our door wouldn't shut properly, had to slam it several times with hand over it and remove quickly. There was a he in the wall in the bathroom

It was quiet, but very much in need of attention. WE had to use our own batteries to make the tv remote work. A Motel 6 would have been an upgrade. No elevator, but close to shopping needs. Will spend more money in the future. Poorly spent $115

This is one of those instances where they definitely got their money’s worth on their listing photos! Properly looked decent in pics!!! Our trip was last minute and we were just staying one night so we weren’t too terribly picky. The staff checking us in was not friendly and the property was in shambles. It was 85 degrees in our room when we went in and the AC never got cool. We actually booked another room somewhere else and left within 5 minutes of arriving. Ate the cost of this room because it was so gross. Shockingly bad!

I’m pretty sure one of the two rooms that I stayed in had bedbugs. Probably number 206, but it could’ve been number 101. In addition to the fact that I had no television and no Wi-Fi for the first day of my stay. I reported it at 6 PM and was not moved to a room with a working tv until 4 PM the next day.

So I had to pay a $50 deposit in order to be able to get the room and when i went to get my deposit back the lady says it smelled like smoke when there wasnt any smoking in the room and she wanted to argue with me and i wasnt given my seposit back.

I was looking for an inexpensive place close to the beach that allowed me to check in early and i got that. The staff was nice.

The property was a little run down, but I was expecting that. It was well lit at night, the room was clean and the staff was friendly.

This property is derelict, decaying, and depressing, with the charm of a condemned storage unit and hospitality worse than a DMV on a Monday morning. At check-in, I arrived on a state work trip with proper tax-exempt documentation. The manager, inept with basic TX state law, falsely claimed the exemption didn’t apply. He then tried to charge a fee for my service animal and withheld my room keys until I complied—despite state and federal laws clearly prohibiting such actions. The hallway was filthy, with mystery stains. The room? Overheated, reeking of mildew. The A/C roared like a jet engine. Mold and corrosion lined the bathroom walls. The mini-fridge leaked. Sheets were stained with cigarette burns. Towels were threadbare. The bed? Not humid—damp. Another guest was price gouged by over 4 times the normal rate, on a trip to honor his late wife. He requested a late checkout to help his (very) large family coordinate their departure. The staff refused. While waiting, a personal item was stolen on-site. Staff did nothing. The owner never appeared. A teenage staff member was left to handle checkout—because nothing says “great customer service” like hiding behind a child to dodge furious customers. This isn’t just a poorly maintained hotel—it’s a disaster. Sleep in your car. Pitch a tent. Camp under a bridge. Anywhere would be cleaner, safer, and more dignified. Please, stay away.

The hotel is poorly maintained and filthy, the front desk manager was rude and unwilling to help, bossy and unpleasant. The “hotel“ is ruined down. Avoid at all cost. The website photos are very misleading and probably embellished or doctored.

Booking through expedia was different as I was unsure if I paid on line. Was charged $50 at check in for a room that was iffy at best. $50 was not returned after the stay. Had to check the sheets to see if they were clean. This was a bad experience.

Check in was at 3pm. Didn’t get in my room till 4pm. If you like a poorly ran place, we’ll this is it.

We ask for more towels and the staff only gave me one and when I asked for more he denied it. Also, he charged me 150 dlls deposit for my dogs and he didn’t give back.

The hotel property was So very dirty, the rooms were worse. Trash all around the pool area, my family was very uncomfortable due to the fact that there Homeless people living underneath the staircase.

The hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly, The inside of the room was ok, the bed covers were a little old you can tell and the curtains were also torn, there were some areas that were see through. No continental breakfast or something small to eat before leaving the estasblishment.
