The parking was great

The AC was out in the lobby and halls. The place was very poorly maintained. The room had an odor. The bedspread was either dirty or stained. It needed to be retired. The breakfast ended at 9 instead of 10 like most places we have stayed.

1. Property stunk. 2. Pull was nasty. 3. Breakfast was never served. 4. Hot water was limited. 5. Staff stayed by the front door smoking and that is the only time you seen them.

Staff was very accommodating,meeting needs, the pool, not so good, the WiFI, couldn't make it work, USELESS, I spoke with clerk, but didn't have time to figure out the problem, so it was useless to me, but I could have really used it, but spent so much time trying and calling, I just gave up. Ran out of breakfast foods, coffee was barely enough for guest. The lobby was clean, the hotel itself in the lobby, dining area, unpleasantly warm, but all in all it was safe.

I would stay here again. Staff was very friendly and the property was clean. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. I really liked that i could sit in the business room in the AC and watch the kids through the window. My pets were welcome. Breakfast was okay.. waffles were good, but the eggs and sausage were not.

The front lobby and halls felt like 200 degrees! At least the room was cool. The front lobby smelled like moth balls and the hotel smelled like an ashtray. The smoke and heat together was horrible. The room itself once inside wasn't too bad. The pool area had no air conditioner and felt like 150 degrees and the door to outside was open to let in the outside breeze, which was almost 100 degrees that day. It is unfortunate that a 100 degree day is better than the stale, hot air inside. I complained, and the owner said he'd put the air on or cooler, but nothing changed. No air was blowing. I wasn't able to get in the pool that day with my kids, but the heat sitting from the side was too much. I ended up sitting in the book room and watching them through a window. The TV was broken. It took over 3 hours before the owner came to fix it. In the end, he just swapped it out with another tv that was the size of my computer monitor. The phone did not work either, so I had to go downstairs, in the sweltering ashtray heat, to keep asking the front desk lady if they were coming to fix the TV. She was very rude overall and had an attitude. The breakfast was so, so. There were no healthy items like fruit available (even though advertised). The eggs and such were not great and my kids wouldn't eat them (and they aren't picky!). This hotel is WAY overpriced for what you get. It was an awful experience all around.

Cable was down while we stayed. The kids enjoyed the pool. Staff was nice, service was wonderful.

Nice, good condition with adequate parking. Ice machine wasn't working but they kept a cooler of ice around to make up for it.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The receptionist was very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. We will stay there again if in the area.

There was no lock on the door, the water smells bad, the tub was full of hair still. There was no play pens for the baby to sleep, an I was giving the standard room An not the suite that I reserved. They also charged my bank card three times and would not cancel them which put me negative for the trip I was on….I had to call my bank to cancel the transactions

Not much to like. Carpet in hallways was dirty and smelled badly.

Horrible! I was given 2 cards at check in but only one of them worked. It took me 10mins for the one that did work to let me in my room. When I walked in the light above struggled to turn on, 2 of 3 bulbs worked. The room was another issue. The mini fridge was left open and unplugged, the light by the bed didn’t work and when I turned on the ac unit it filled the room with a horrible smell. Then there was the bathroom….. what looked like a blow dryer holder was missing, the bath tub was half way full of water and had a towel folded and laid over the side, which had been soaking up the water and left the area wet. The shower curtains were indeed soaked. I was so scared to even use it. I ended up leaving early, I just couldn’t get over how dirty and poorly maintained the room had been. There was no one at the front desk just a little sign that said call this number for service. I just left my room keys and exited.

Room was a smoking room and had strong odor of cigarette smoke. My room was supposed to be nonsmoking bc I don’t smoke and can’t stand the smell and light fixture in bathroom didn’t work and since they had no other rooms available we had to stay

Yes but only as a last option,I think I will give another Hotel in the area to meet this place's minimum first.

Nice looking property. Bathroom was clean and bigger than some motels. Overall we were satisfied. The comforter needed to be replaced….stains on it. You need a new TV service. Could not get any local channels…Fox, NBC & CBS were unwatchable and no ABC at all. Good size TV.

The hotel was accommodating and friendly. The only issue was the WiFi was working in my room. I was on the first floor and close to the lobby. Aside from this, I enjoyed my stay.

My only issue was the fact that the TVs did not work Friday-Sunday we were there. For over $100/night, I feel like that’s something we should have been told at check in. I would have found somewhere else to stay. The staff did not ever have an update or idea of when or if they would work again. Seems like something small to complain about but I could have saved some money and stayed in a cheap room somewhere

There are better options for the price in Glen Rose. Generally an ok stay, but the beds were the worst thing about this place. You can feel every small movement in the bed and when sleeping with a child, that leads to a poor night sleep. Recommend other hotels in the area

Had a good stay for 1night; room was clean and bed was comfortable. Also had good staff and amenities. Room was peculiar in layout; couldn't open hall door while bathroom door was open and vice versa. Also, tub drain didn't work correctly, air conditioning was loud and TV remote didn't work Good property but maintenance needs more attention.

Make sure you have time to leave a few hours so your room can cool down. I’m glad we had time but still was not cold when we got back.

There was only one person checking in people so it took awhile. Once we were checked in, the key didn't work. I took 4 times to get the keys to work, but it was a master key that got us in. I waited because I knew she had several people to check in. She was on her way up as I was going down and the keys she had worked. The entrance floor appeared sticky. The room was great as far as temperature. The towel rack needed maintenance. It was a good room for what we needed.

The only thing that I was upset about was when I booked my rooms online on the website, it stated there was a smoking room, which I booked. When I checked in I was told there are no smoking rooms. You need to change your website.

It was easily accessible.

Clean, conveniently located, and full of amenities you are guaranteed to be surcharged for elsewhere: free parking, free wifi, free breakfast. And the staff are incredibly nice and kind. Will definitely return!

For the price paid, I would expected a better breakfast.

Arrived at the lobby and was met with the strong odor of chlorine. Upon entering the room, the room was dingy. In addition there was no smoke detector in the ceiling mount. The toilet was short which made it difficult for a elderly person to get off. Breakfast hours was listed as 6:30 am to 9:00 am. The breakfast, if you want to call it that was not very appetizing and lacked a variety. The gravy looked like colored water. The biscuits was so hard, when attempting to cut them with the supplied plastic cutlery bent or broke. Cold eggs and potatoes. Coffee dispenser had the tendency to malfunction.

Would like to give 5 stars, however the lawn was a foot tall and due to the low number of travelers, there was no breakfast.
