La Quinta by Wyndham Glen Rose

We will not return do to accessible rooms not being wheelchair accessible. My Husband is 100% disabled and in a wheelchair! We stayed In Room 107 which is supposed to be handy cap accessible but it is definitely not if you are in a wheelchair! First of all, there was supposed to be a shower chair in the shower and there was not so I went to the front desk and asked if we could get one brought to the room. The evening desk lady was not very helpful. She said they had one and it must be in another room. I informed her that the room was supposed to have a shower chair. I asked well what am I supposed to do and she just nonchalantly said “ I don’t know sorry”. She was very non-personable and was zero help. If you’re in the room and you try to get into the bathroom, you have to go into the corner by the exit door and hope you can get the door open past the wheelchair to get in or go into the hallway open the bathroom door and then get into the bathroom. It is extremely difficult . Etc.When you try to get out of the bathroom in a wheelchair and into the room, you have to back up against the exit door or open the exit door and go out into the hallway to get the bathroom door shut so you can go into the room definitely not handicapped accessible. The second day we were there I asked the young gentleman that was working in the front desk about getting a shower chair, he told me he would find a shower chair for me. He brought me one that afternoon. He was very pleasant.

The shower needed maintenance. The shower head needed to be replaced. Found a long dark hair on the bed. Not sure if the bed sheets had been change for not. The ac wasn’t working too well either. Felt musty all night.

It was great stay for us and our families. Perfect location, breakfast was delicious and the pool was a nice treat after the hot days at the park.

Room was disgusting and filthy. Hair and nastiness in bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned for quite sometime. Bedroom the dust was caked on lights and surfaces. Long black hairs on the bedding under covers on sheets. I took pictures of how it looked as well as how it was when we left. I will not be ever staying there again. I bought my own sheets and cover to sleep in sprayed the room down with lysol. If it wasn’t 4th of July I'd of left and gotten another hotel but nothing was available last minute.

Breakfast was great - fresh and delish. Pool and Hot Tub were also great. Staff also were excellent! Only problem - the shower did not work - so had a bath.
