Definitely a three star hotel. The kiddie pool was green but the main pool was nice and clean…no hot tub. The suite with a bedroom was very comfortable for a family of 6.

Loved the location. Rooms and facility looked good and clean. Hot breakfast items were served. Good coffee. Nice pool and covered sitting area. Slight smell of urine when we walked in at night that disappeared with the cooler use of AC. We would return.

The only issue we had was the sound of the Air Conditioner when it came on. it was loud enough to wake you up when sleeping. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay. Food was good, bed was comfortable, and pool was fun.

The hotel room was dirty. We opened up thr sofa bed and there was a dirty mattress cover on that had old food on it. In the second bedroom, they say the bed is a queen but it seemed like a full. The shower floor was really dirty and covered in mold. We had high expectations given that this hotel was the best rated in the area but left disappointed.

Walking in the hotel looked beautiful and well kept. As soon as we stepped off the elevator and onto the third floor we were met with an unusual smell. When we got to our room it was even stronger and smelled like human urine. My kids and I went to the store down the street and purchased air fresheners for the room. The pool was nice and the breakfast was what you would expect. Overall it was okay but not what I expected from a hotel with higher ratings.

Staff was very friendly and helpful during checkin/out. Room wasn’t super clean. Carpet felt sticky in various places throughout room. There were crumbs on the bedding. We arrived so late and were exhausted that we didn’t give the property a chance to rectify the situation. I’m sure they would have—very kind and helpful.

Room 110 is a strange one. It has double doors that lead to the parking lot. There are seats right outside the doors that anyone can sit at. So much light comes in through the doors, it is distracting. Room needs a deep clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. TV was not great. The clean remote was not useful and most channels were tuned to descriptive mode or set to SAP Spanish. No way to change it.

We chose this hotel because it was highly rated. Upon arriving at the property, it smelled so heavily of manure. Comes to find out, the hotel is right next door to the Somervell County Expo Center and there were trailers filled with horses piling in. You could not escape this smell while outside and while that would be okay once inside, it was hard being outside in the pool area. Obviously you can’t blame the hotel for this, but just note that the hotel is right next to this center and you might have bad luck as to what event is going on next door that will affect your stay. Our room itself was dated and smelled musty. The second bedroom was really nice to have but the shower floor was covered in mold. It was really gross and off putting. We did not use that shower. Even in the first bathroom, we felt like we needed to wear flip flops, like you’re in a dorm room shower. When we opened up the sofa bed, there was a mattress cover on that had old food stuck to it. It was clear that the mattress cover is never taken off to be washed. Just in general, we felt like the hotel was dirty and old and would not return. We were grateful we only stayed here for one night.

This was a perfect property for our family to stay at for vacation. Perfect for little kids too! The double bedroom was a plus and the fridge and microwave were handy. Very pleased and will be back! Friendly staff too!

Room was nice, regular beds comfortable, sofa bed ok for kids but wouldn’t be for adults. Bathrooms roomy. Had a 2 room suite for a very reasonable rate. Kids loved the pool. 24 hour coffee available was a plus.

The hotel was close to everything we wanted to do. The room was nice, the breakfast was good and the staff was excellent. We has an issue with a dead battery and Sydney and Carla helped find some jumper cables and help get our car started. We will definitely stay here again when coming to Glenrose.

Convenient location and easy parking. The only staff member I saw was not very competent or helpful. The elevator frames needed to be repainted. The hallways were really warm. The deadbolt on the door to our room didn’t work.

Very good hotel. Front desk called to check on how the room was after we got settled in. I’ve never had that happen anywhere! Nice hot shower with directions on how to use it. Quiet room, except for a few creaks from the upstairs folks. Comfy bed with plenty of space for us. Will be returning!

Jim was amazing. We all forgot chargers and he nicely charged my phone for me. He was also helpful with getting us utensils for eating food cooked in microwave. Very friendly courteous and thoughtful.
