The say breakfast is included. But their idea of breakfast is juice and coffee . also the gym is being remodel ,if it is at all. because you couldn’t see if they are working because the door glass was covered .

Place was dirty. Walked through people smoking weed outside. Shuttle service is awful. When you call for pickup, you can’t understand them…..and then it’s two hours before someone comes.

The entire reason for my booking this hotel was that it offer guest laundry on their Expedia and courtesy airport shuttle. When I got there, they did not put me in the room I booked, and after walking around the hotel, I found out from a maid that they DONT have Guest laundry despite the signs being up everywhere! They also did NOT have a shuttle to the airport. There was a homeless man hanging out by the front door the entire 2 days I was there, the toilet was falling out of the wall from a crappy repair, stains on my pillows, and the property itself has fallen into disrepair. There were kids running the hallway at 2am in the morning, opening and closing the doors all around my room. I suppose I just got lucky with that room (sarcasm). For the price, you get what you pay for. I left the next day a half mile up the road and stayed at the LaQuinta which was an improvement.

This super 8 is the same as it has been for years. It was a great value, with no frills, and maybe a little something to be had. I would absolutly stay here again. The shhuttle got me both ways and wasnt late. There was coffee and juice in the morning at 6am.

The elevator door open very very very very very slow and need to upgrade or do maintain correctly.

We were just staying here to make an early flight. The hotel is very convenient for this purpose and offers free airport shuttle 24/7. You will need to make sure and book the shuttle at the front desk. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There are a few restaurant options within walking distance. Allow 20 minutes to get to the airport because they take may have multiple people to pick up and drop off. Pros--convenient location, clean rooms, friendly staff, airport shuttle, decent water pressure Cons--some damage to the room like the door, someone propped all the outside doors open with rocks which left some safety concerns and when we would move them they would be replaced (not sure if front desk knew about this) and the hall smelled like fruity urine--kind of like urine and body odor that someone tried to clean but it only partially masked the scent instead of eliminating it. Also, the front door was a little hard to find. The lobby is under the little awning but it isn't clearly marked.

Their so called “breakfast” is one granola bar and apple or orange juice. There is no pool. Neighbors were very noisy and were arguing all night. Could not sleep.

We called at least 8-10 times for the shuttle before anyone picked up the phone. It took a long time to get the shuttle. The morning we were supposed to get a shuttle to the airport we were notified 5 minutes before that the shuttle would not be coming (this was 3:30 in the morning). Lucky may husband had Uber on his phone. We live in a very small town and do not use Uber. We barely made our flight. Also had to pay $25 for Uber when we should have had a free shuttle.

Urgent booking after flight delayed, no help from America Airlines, booked the hotel by myself, called the Hotel for shuttle pick up but waited 1h with 3 calls to the hotel... Finally took a taxi. Bad service

Killed several cockroaches during the night. Then found one on my sheets in the morning. Cant recommend this place.

There’s nothing to like. From the moment you enter you’re hit with the aggressive odor of mold/mildew. They’re going to make someone sick. I requested a non smoking room, and when I entered it smelled like someone had JUST smoked a cigarette in there. No gym. The wash room is disgusting and moldy. The elevator is the slowest I’ve ever encountered. I almost just left and spent the night at the airport - at least they don’t have roaches!

Bed was very uncomfortable. Tiles on the bathroom wall were missing or falling off. Mildew in the shower and the wall inside the shower. TV didn't work. Carpet was ripped throughout the room.

Never again will I go. The smell of the entire hotel property was unbearable. It immediately smelled like human piss or urine inside the entire property, and my room was absolutely filthy. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in 57yrs of my life. That property absolutely give the Motel 8 franchise a bad name. I hope and pray that someone from the Motel 8 Corp would definitely contact me for a more detailed verbal explanation of my experience at that property. Ray Evans 469-316-1890 cell

Looks good on the outside but the rooms are inhabitable when you walk in it smells like mildew and mold really dusty kept sneezing through the night i woke up feeling ill from the mold smell and my whole body was itchy from the dusty blankets i wouldn’t recommend this hotel if your traveling with family or kids. And they dont serve breakfast coffee was cold

The room was dirty, chair in room torn, trash behind light fixture, toilet not bolted to floor, felt as though it would tumble over when you sat on it, shower curtain dirty. If we had not had Lysol I would not have laid down on the bed sheets!

The staff was very nice but there was some sort of bug on my pillow. There were obvious signs that bugs had been killed on the walls and not cleaned up. The room had an odd smell.

This was a last minute option because of a chaotic airline issue. All other hotels were booked, so I chose this based on other reviews. However, this was one of the worst stays I've ever had. The entire facility smelled like very strong cat urine and mold, the pillows had blood stains, all furniture was scuffed and smelled bad, the walls had children markings all over it, and the bathroom had mold because the vent did not work. I was also told that breakfast was served from 6-9AM, but when I showed up, the only selection was cold coffee and apple juice (no food). The ONLY redeeming part of this stay was the shuttle coming to get me close to midnight and the friendly drivers. Everything else about the actual hotel was horrible. Don't stay here.

The air didn’t work, the phone had no cord the plugs didn’t work.

Once I arrived at the airport I called the hotel no less than 4 times just to have the front desk hung up on me just by chance the shuttle van showed up and I made it to the hotel, I asked the front desk why they didn’t answer they single person working the front desk said that he was too busy to answer. Once in the room I discovered a water leak from the ceiling of bathroom from the upstairs bathroom water was leaking into the tub and I was too tired to switch rooms so I just spent the night and made a note never to stay there again

Check in staff was friendly enough, but things went downhill shortly afterwards. My initial room keycard didn't work, so I had to return to the front desk to have it re-keyed. When I finally got into the room I realized the door was not squarely mounted to the doorframe and that the deadbolt could not actually lock. The room furniture was very worn and the bedspread had a mysterious stain on it. The "breakfast included" consisted of one flavor of granola bar and coffee or tea. I signed up for the 6:50 am airport shuttle the night before and was in the lobby as requested by 6:40. The shuttle driver was over 10 minutes late, unapologetic and made a stop at another hotel before dropping me off at the airport. Thankfully, I didn't have to check any luggage.

No hot water for the shower, you have to take a cold bath, and the carpet is so dirty, never try to barefoot on it.

Lack of maintenance. Door lock doesn't work. So strong smoke smell. AC doesn't work. it almost fell apart.

This hotel isn’t horrible…but it isn’t good. Perhaps a “fair” rating would be adequate? I booked this hotel without looking at reviews, which, like many others have said, was a mistake. My arrival to DFW was at 11:45 am, and it took 50 minutes for the shuttle to come. The waiting area at DFW was a bit sketchy, hot and humid, and smelled of exhaust, so these 50 minutes were hell. Finally, the shuttle came, which is basically an old, beat up van that services 6-8 hotels, driven by drivers who go a bit too fast (no seatbelts, either!). The hotel was okay. I looked for bugs when I got there and didn’t see any. More importantly, I looked for bed bugs (which I was freaking out about, since other reviews had mentioned this). There were no bed bugs, just as there was no hot water in the shower (the bathroom sink, interestingly, did have hot water). Bed was comfy. Furniture was old and stained. I set my luggage on the desk so it wouldn’t have to come into contact with the stained fabric of the furniture. Would I stay here again? As a solo male traveler looking for a few hours of sleep: yes. Traveling with my wife: no. Traveling with family: absolute NO! I wouldn’t trust anyone to be on the carpet, and even I wished I had sandals. Good luck in your travels…but do like others have said and shell out a bit more money for something better.

I stayed here because I needed a bed for 3-5 hours. There was mold around the base of the tub. Furniture was worn. Bed was great. The airport shuttle was late to the airport. But with all that I’d probably stay again; if I’m by myself! My wife would not like it.

The tv had no remote. The desk lady said she would bring one but she never did. The shower valve was broken so I had no hot water and no shower. Room 111.

Tub Faucet broken, stripped of plastic threading to TURN THE VALVE. FLOOR SUBFLOOR CONCRETE BREAKING, TILES BROKEN FOR THAT REASON

Amazing bed very comfortable but room falling apart needs repairs ! ! Could be an amazing hotel for the price get rid of the carpet in the rooms…..

I called at 3pm to let them know I would be having a late check in at 8pm and that I needed the shuttle to come get me from the airport at 8pm. I arrive at 7:50pm. I called let the hotel know so they could send a shuttle. No one would answer the phone at 8:45pm I used the airport phone where the shuttle buses arrive. I finally got ahold of someone after an hour wait and was told it would be 25 minutes or longer. So anywho. Don’t plan on having a shuttle service. Also the heater was broken in the room. The dial didn’t work. The hotel was noisy. I should of just said at the airport for a cold and noisy place. It would of saved me $40 Uber cost anyway. It’s 1:37am it’s loud next door. I came here to sleep 4 hours. No luck there. Oh and the phone in the room is broken.

I booked and paid for this hotel stay upfront. The staff, management, team members were horrible. I booked a room for my daughter who was in town for personal reasons. They refused to allow her to check in with her LA wallet ID. She had several other forms of ID with her name on it to prove identity but they still refused. There was no one who could come pick her up as she had taken a bus from Louisiana to Texas to seek treatment. She was left in the lobby with no options AND they had been paid AND the room was available. I called a hotel 1 mile away and explained the situation in detail to them. They told me to send her to them and they would make sure she received a room. Thank God for them because we had no idea what to do next since she had 2 more nights before she could be admitted to the treatment facility. And thanks to Expedia for convincing the hotel to refund my money! Empathy and maybe more training is needed at this hotel. LA wallet is an acceptable form of ID that’s even accepted at the airport by TSA.

Hotel staff were rude and very unprofessional. The floor in my bathroom had loose floor tiles by the tube, and it felt like it could fall through. Will Never stay here again.

I had a great experience! The ladies in the check in counter was super sweet. The room was pretty nice. Needs to be updated, but the bathroom was clean, bed/sheets were comfy and clean. It was quiet, I didn't find it unsafe, or anything sketchy. I mean, for $60, you can't beat it. The transportation was good-ish. The van that took me to the airport was a horrible driver. Almost crashed into a car where the car behind us had to swerve into another lane because he cut him off. He was distracted, calls on his phone, radio, and messing with things in the front seat. However, they had other drivers like the one that brought me from the airport to the motel. He was a pretty good driver. Over all, I found it a great place to stay if you have a layover, or just visiting this part of Dallas. I will stay here again.

Arrived at the hotel with booking confirmation in hand only to be told that Super 8 had cancelled my reservation due to "Overbooking"....but they had rooms available if I wanted to rebook at an even higher price than my reservation that was already prepaid. Spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service and the front desk lady and her manager only to end up with a refund and nowhere to sleep. Drove 45 minutes away to sleep at a friend's house instead. Never again!

Hot AC no breakfast bar

There was a terrible smell in the hallway. It smelled like skunks and old socks. Thankfully the smell was not strong in the room while the AC was running. The room was clean and okay. The free breakfast was coffee, juice, and cereal bars. The woman at the desk was really friendly and helpful.

I wanted to give this more stars, but a few key issues with the property. First one, and it is a big one, there is no breakfast. I will reach out to Expedia and ask them to correct that. You will see a photo of a pretty decent continental breakfast offered, but when you come down in the morning, you get one granola bar. So you do not think I made a mistake in the description of the breakfast, I will repeat it. One granola bar, that you get at the check-in counter. They call it their "on the go breakfast." I am not joking. Also, no coffee machine in the room, that is a pretty big thing for me.

The property was completely unremarkable and totally fine as a hotel to stay in. My only complaint is that it advertised having breakfast and that was literally the only reason I picked it; breakfast was coffee and a granola bar. Just edit that annoying detail and the review will be much better.

The hotel advertises “breakfast included,” but the only thing they offer is a coffee machine. When I asked at the front desk about the breakfast, they simply pointed to the coffee machine. It’s embarrassing. They should not advertise that breakfast is included when all they provide is a coffee machine — with no milk, no sugar, nothing — just cold coffee. The non-smoking rooms smell terrible, strongly of marijuana. The carpets are filthy, and the rooms themselves are extremely dirty and poorly maintained. Honestly, do not stay at this hotel. It’s incredibly bad. I don’t understand how the staff can allow the hotel to be in this condition if cleaning and maintenance are their responsibilities. Also, the airport shuttle service does not work. When you call the front desk, no one answers — I tried several times and nobody ever picked up. The receptionist is empty all the time. no one at the reception to help you Please avoid this hotel. It’s a terrible experience
