Kitchen well equipped Gym needs upgrading

The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Housekeeping is average. Air conditioning is nice. Laundry available 24*7 and free of charge. Close to my office Verizon. Overall , good place at an affordable rate

The receptionist was friendly and attentive. The treadmill at the gym wasn't working but at least I was able to use the elliptical machine. The studio was clean and had all the amenities and utensils I needed to cook my own food. My only real complaint was the housekeeper never once cleaned my room, and that the carpet really stank -- it smelled like old and pungent cigarettes from 10 years ago. But again I will reiterate the utmost friendliness of the person working the front desk. So overall it was still a good experience.

I had an extended stay with them for few weeks and I totally recommend them . Amazing price, great location , great staff from front desk to housekeeper, gym access , free laundry service and the rooms so cozy and cute ! Love my mini Hilton for the most amazing price budget Thank you

The actual room was clean and spacious. I loved it. When we checked in the elevators were not working, we walked upstairs with luggage, the carpets had a stale, dusty smell mixed with must. The key cards to the rooms kept not working and we often had to go and ask them to help make our key card work so we can enter our room. It was extremely frustrating.

The only issue I had at the time while staying there is that the elevator didn't work and we were on the third floor. It was pretty frustrating since my girlfriend is pregnant. I'm sure this will get fixed (hopefully). Outside of that, it was a decent stay with friendly staff.

I paid on line and had no information about having to pay to park for each day. And the parking lot is not even properly lighted at night to feel safe or be able to see. But thay want to charge for it? When I asked why wasnt it a part of you informing so a customer can consider it. The desk clerk just said I dont know what's on the internet. But its something we started. I told her I would not have chosen this place if I had known that up front. So I parked my car in the park and ride dart train lot and walked back to hotel. Because I refuse to be paying more money for something I had already thought I paid in full. And I will never stay here again for that reason. Nothing special about the lot to be charging and especially since its badly lighted at night.

Front desk took forever to check me in..apparently because she was new..well that is what she said..Place is clean, comfortable, with a nice view..Only one elevator worked..train is close by..no convenience stores within walking distance

Surprised about parking fee. Front desk didn't even tell me I needed to put parking pass inthe window. Room was not very clean.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but there was a moldy smell in the room the entire time. My allergies were triggered and I was sick the entire stay. The gym only had one machine working, the other machines were broken or missing parts. There is an additional charge for parking per day.

I stayed in room 310. Unfortunately i had roaches in the room. In the kitchen counter. I even killed some. The ice maker in the freezer compartment was putting out bad ice which means the water wasn't good..piles of garbage were in the staircase. Don't know why staff didnt take it to dumpster. Very dirty and nasty. Cheaper isnt always better. Pay alittle mre and go to a better hotel. Didnt expect this. Traveling from California.

its just there were roaches around the kitchen counter and there was no hot water for shower. room was 128. hope they fix these things.

The first room has been smoked in. The main hallway downstairs smelled of cigarettes. When entering from the gazebo area, at 7 pm the stairwell was filled with garbage.

The room smelled like a mold and there were bugs in the room. Got a huge bug bite on my neck.

Beware there are bed bugs and the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. One of the most basic hotels, which is fine so long as it is clean. Unfortunately, Sonesta is anything but.

Rude staff, wet flooded carpets, wet towels on the tile floor, no hot water, no linens for the second bed, never brought linens for said bed

Walked into the room and the musty mildew smell was almost too much to bear. Sheets were changed but room was not cleaned. There were bodily fluids on the headboard and walls. There were stains on the comforter. The pull out bed was absolutely filthy.

Was not impressed with my stay here. There was a bug on the floor and I didnt feel like I was in a very clean hotel overall. I do like there is a kitchenette but I didnt really use it this stay.

quiet stay, but very bad smell on the hall ways , elevator & everywhere

The first room we were assigned was dirty, there was what looked like feces smeared on the wall, sticky substance on the top of nightstands, crumbs all over the floor, and a cockroach on the kitchenette counter. We asked for a different room and after seeing the conditions, the front desk staff agreed. The second room was a bit cleaner but when we pulled the comforter back on the bed, the sheets were stained with blood and urine. The front desk lady was very kind and understanding. I asked for a refund and left.

This place was average. A place to sleep. Staff was nice & friendly. You can tell it needs help in the rooms. It is also definitely older, you can hear your neighbors through the walls and the people on the floor above walking around.

The area was great the room was good the only problem was the air conditioning didnt work well

Good value and comfortable stay..altho painting contractor activity was a little disruptive and wifi not functioning. No bath size towels provided either.

I chose this hotel for the proximity and affordability. The room was surprisingly good. Bed was a lot softer than I was used to but a good change. The only issue I had was the food odor smell.

Safe area. You can walk to the convention center if u really have to but there is also train & Uber for $8 available. I heard the trains at night but it did not bother me. If you are sensitive.,,

This hotel is old. Very old. If the lobby is the first thing you see before deciding to book, you probably won’t. The bed was clean. The room was tidy. I had an old old dish washer in my room, that was a first.

Very well appointed suites. Full kitchen minus a oven. Has a dishwasher and a full set of cookware and dining ware.

A lot of the amenities of this property are outdated. The Room was ok for the most part, but I don’t feel I’ll be staying here again. Also there is a $100 incidental fee, even with prepaying before your stay. Most hotels only hold $25-$59 for incidentals.

wifi didn't work, and shower head wasn't functional, and the pothole in the entrance was a pain. Everything else was fine considering I got everything pretty last minute. Bed was nice tv worked, AC worked, kitchen was nice. Just wish the wifi, and shower head worked

The property was quiet, the rail is right across the street which made it very easy to get around. Plus the hospitality of the staff was amazing! Special thank you to Bev and Ebony for being truly amazing for accommodating us!

I’ve stayed at several other hotels in the vicinity and this is definitely not the best. The lady I spoke with for check in told me there were no rooms available before even asking my name when I told her I had a reservation. She continued to be very short with me, despite my best efforts to be nice (I had to deal with her two more times when my key cards quit working, same result. She also told me it was my fault because they were close to my phone, they weren’t.) I over heard multiple angry conversations at the front desk with other guests having problems with reservations and equally rude responses from other staff. The room is just okay, it was clean, but the place isn’t updated and the general clientele is what you would expect from a subpar hotel. Needless to say, I’ll be staying elsewhere on my next visit.

Staff was rude at night

I reserved this hotel for a week in an advance & when I arrived I was told there was no rooms available. It was a huge inconvenience for me because drove 2 hours to NO hotel room.

I had the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel here. I arrived around 10pm to check-in only to find that there was nobody at the front desk and there was a line of 6 people waiting to check-in. There was a sign that said someone would be back in 20 minutes, but people in line said they had been there more than 20 minutes. I sat down to wait and 30 minutes later a worker finally came in with a bag of fast food. He apologized and said he had been at a concert. I waited as he checked the people ahead of me in, when he got to me 15-20 minutes later he stared at the screen for like 10 minutes and said he wasn't sure if the remaining room they had was clean. He ended up giving me a key and when I went to the room and opened it the door latch was on. I heard someone's voice asking who was there - that's right, he gave me a key to a room with someone in it. I'm sure that person was scared to death since it was past 11pm at that point and I think they were asleep. I went back to the front desk and the worker apologized. I asked him if I could just get a refund so I could go to a different hotel. He said that would be no problem. A week later there was no refund, so I called and asked for one. After three different calls I finally got half of my money back, but they still won't give me the remaining money, even though they didn't have a room when I got there. Avoid this place like the plague.

Friendly staff

The room was very clean. I did note some issues with the room, they were willing to move me right away. I didn't take them up on the offer. DART Hidden Ridge Station is across the street with access to DFW and Downtown Dallas.

The property was clean and well kept. Went to Dallas for a convention and this location was easily walkable to the venue. Would definitely recommend.

Very central to highways and restaurants and shopping.

This place is very quiet and convenient. Nearby is the Orange metro line, which will take you to the airport in 12 minutes.

Stayed here for a concert and it was the best location. I didn’t know I was literally a 5 minute Uber ride away from the concert venue! Perfect location.

The staff at this hotel were friendly. The room was nice,clean and spacious. If you want to use the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) , there is a train within walking distance. The only downsides are breakfast isn't included and there's nothing within walking distance to the hotel except one restaurant.

i heard some bad reviews but it was so well worth it. i love the mini kitchen and i order groceries in i eat healthy and i’m very thrifty so it all worked out great ! I went to gym very clean no one was there. i stayed their 3 nights. when everyone is dropping 210 a night i stayed for about 70 bucks.

Great hotel. Kitchenette in alll rooms. Bed pretty comfortable. Front desk ladies are great and nice.

Restaurant was a simple menu with good food. Staff was very accommodating. I came in late and kitchen still made sure I got a plate of food. Very grateful.

Really enjoyed my stay. Big plus was the kitchen that included ice maker. Excellent accommodations. I will definitely come back when im in town.

The halls were HOT, but this is Texas so other than that they're was no breakfast only coffee

Good staff, closer to downtown, close to. Train station. Safe. Place a mile away frome excellent restaurants and entertainment. Only disappointed in , no breakfast and no changing of linens unless you stay 7 days or longer. But could take towels to exchange at the desk. Other then that our stay was excellent. Highly recommend

It was great! The place was clean, quiet and had surrounding food spots to travel too. I just wish breakfast was included.
