The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport

Unfortunately a lot went wrong. No cleaning during 3 days even after claiming on the first day. No laundry service was available. And the Parking is a joke, you pay more than 21USD for an outside parking and the system does not work, they have problems with this bloody automatic check out.

Chose this hotel for my birthday trip because it had a rooftop pool. Only to find out upon my arrival that the pool was closed the associate did state that it would be open the following morning but it remained closed the entire weekend

The hotel and rooms were nice! The night staff was very welcoming and kind but the morning staff was very rude, which is why I gave 4 stars. I also did not like that we had to pay for parking. There was nothing special about the parking lot. I can understand if there was a garage of some sort or security out 24/7 driving around the parking lot, or even a safety gate around the premises, but there wasn’t any of that. On top of that, there are signs that tell people not to leave valuables in their vehicle and the property is not responsible for damaged vehicles or stolen items. Why not? We are paying to park there. That was a total waste of money and didn’t make sense. I have stayed at many different Westin hotels and this is the ONLY one I had to pay to park. That’s just insane to me.

Lobby area and 1st floor was updated. Actual rooms furniture was out dated. The dresser drawers in my room could/would not close, always stuck out. Carpet in the room and hallways need to be cleaned, old dirt spots remain. Beware that you’ll have to pay an additional fee to park your vehicle at this location daily. Not sure if I’ll stay at this location again

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL – BLACKLIST IT We planned an outing to Dallas to see the Stars Hockey game and enjoy a weekend. First experience with Westin was the worst. A nightmare. We arrived to find the hotel had booked a biker rally that Friday/Saturday night. Upon arrival there was already very few spots to park, and the lobby check-in told us we had to use a bar code and prepay parking for the two-day stay. Upon arriving back after the game, the hotel parking lot was a disaster. Forty-eight hours later, I’m still angry: • No available parking – there were 20 cars circling the lot looking for a place to park • There were many not staying at the hotel in the lots with bonfires and smoking bad substances The hotel staff agreed it was a horrible situation. They had no solutions. There was music and loud motorcyles heard all night and bad substances smoked in the elevators and halls that permeated to the rooms. Saturday, the nightmare was worse. We returned to no parking in the evening. The manager on duty (the lone bright spot to our trip) said we’d be fine parked at the Quality Inn next door worst case. More bonfires in the parking lot, food trucks, etc. Police were there, it was unsafe, Westin failed miserably. DO NOT STAY HERE - THEY DON'T VALUE THE SAFETY OF PATRONS OR HONOR PREPAID PARKING. AVOID IT.

Overall the hotel was modern and clean. Felt like the bathroom could be updated just a bit but it was clean and had what I needed. My only complaint was the limited parking that you have to pay for... the hotel was booked with a large group and people were having to park along fire lanes, curbs, etc.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times in the past and have always had a good stay. However, they now charge you extra for a 4th person - in a room that sleeps 4?? They also charge you $20 a night to park. When we returned from our trip we came back to our truck only to find that someone had stolen both tail lights! We were told by staff that they do not have security on sight. I’ve always loved Westin’s but now they just nickel and dime you. Will not stay there again.

Clean, nice gym and pool, good options for drinks and food Would have liked water bottles to be replaced daily in the room.

I didn’t know you had to pay $20 a night for parking in their uncovered parking lot. They also did not offer any complimentary coffee in the morning. Their rooftop pool was very small and it an area that needed some esthetic work done.

Very clean and friendly staff. Disappointed roof top pool was closed. Fair pricing at restaurant.

The hotel is nice and clean. Check in was quick and easy. The bar staff was friendly. Catching the airport shuttle early in the morning was a bit chaotic but we managed to get a seat on one of the two vans. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We didn't know that you had to request to have your room clean everyday. So when we found out, we called and were told service was called and no one showed up. Our room had a smell to it and some of the towels were stained. I won't be back.

Very nice place conveniently located near DFW. We enjoyed everything with the exception of mold at bottom of shower curtain and noisy refrigerator

The room was clean. Bedding was comfortable.

Spacious room, comfortable beds. Only complaint was hair in the bathroom upon arrival.

Bugs in the main floor of the hotel-restaurant, lounge and near front doors

The aesthetics of the hotel inside are beautiful! However the hallways on the 7th floor had a musty hot smell. Like old dingy climate. Other than that beautiful property

Room not thoroughly clean, especially on hard surfaces. Had finger prints and crumbs on dresser. Hotel needs a refresh, not the Westin I'm accustomed to

The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful and the lobby and restaurants are clean and inviting. The hallway leading to our room smelled foul and the carpets were filthy. In our room the beds were clean and comfortable, but I wouldn’t want to walk barefoot. We were laid over without our bags and my socks were disgusting after walking on the floor.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too hard. Had a sore neck the next day.

The hotel does not respond to Expedia messages, so we had to arrange our own transportation from the airport. The hotel is tired, the lobby looks like it had some money spent on it but the room was in need of an update, the A/C was noisy and had issues, not ideal when you only book the place to get some sleep. Breakfast was disorganized, no idea how people were getting food, noone to ask, no signage, no advice offered at check in. Ive nothing to compare it to in Dallas, but if this is typical it is a pretty poor standard

It's an older hotel without, or they dont work anymore, slow close room doors. Guests let the doors slam shut and it's loud. Being right by the highway is extra loud, thank goodness I wear ear plugs. The best part about it was the bed and duvet. Ive stayed at better Westin's.

Lobby and club are pretty nice. Rooms require update. They are small, low with popcorn ceilings.

I wish this property or at least the rooms mirrors the pictures on the website, my room was dated and loud I’m not sure if it was the air conditioning system or something else but every 10mins some loud system was on and running. The carpet is dated the kitchen area is dated especially the fridge! I understand this propety is near the airport, but to not have some sort of view or even to be able to open a window for air was absurd. Dining was okay the drink I purchased at the bar was HORRIBLE! I’m not sure if it was a lemon drop or lemon soap but it was bad!!! I wouldn’t recommend this property because the price don’t match the quality the only thing it was impressed with was the lobby and the fact there’s an airport shuttle! I reached out to the property and just received a generic response!

Good hotel, but noise is intolerable from planes taking off from airport that it felt that the plane is going through the room That’s only reason won’t use this hotel again

Internet was horrible

They checked some less into my room and had me wait over an hour. They lady at the desk was extremely rude for no reason and lastly I found the place to be not in the best condition.

What a mess at checkin. The line for checking was out the door and down the driveway and it took about 2 hours. Not fun when you are traveling with a 4 year old. They need to properly staff the reception to handle their bookings.

Daisy at the front desk was amazing. She was so helpful and went above and beyond after a terrible flying experience with American Airlines

Had a great stay and close to the airport. The 5 am shuttle was full so Rory ordered us an Uber to make sure we got to our flight on time. He was very kind, courteous and funny! Thanks!

Called 3x, Waited an hour for the shuttle and then got a whole bunch of excuses — this is what I get for paying for for a nice hotel? I still haven’t gotten to the hotel yet!

Didn’t make up my room…however, when notified - the housekeeper came quickly and made up the room. Staff were really nice. Fitness center was clean and useful. The coffee maker & Verona was exceptional for in room make it yourself coffee!!! I was also able to make my hot tea nightly…very nice! I’d definitely stay here again…without having to pay for parking!

Great stay! Super comfortable. I got double charged for the room but the accounting department was delightful and very helpful in getting my money back

Close to the highway

When I booked, I assumed that this was the hotel that was attached to the DFW airport. I was surprised, and actually happy, to find out that it is not. It was a short 15 minute drive from the airport- which put this hotel in a quiet and safe location. Beds were comfy, shower was hot and floor was quiet. Overall, worth what I paid for sure!

Nice hotel close to the airport, convenient parking and good facilities. The room was lovely and quite spacious, but this hotel is awfully close to one of the runways, and there is intermittent loud noise from planes taking off or landing. So if you are noise sensitive keep that in mind.

For the price, I would think that there would be a continental breakfast of some sort. They have a bar that you can get breakfast at in the lobby. The shuttle to the airport was nice. The “heavenly” showers were subpar. The shower head was so low that I needed to lean down to wash my hair (I’m 5’10”).

The stay was very pleasant. The aroma in the lobby was very inviting. The room was good. And the restaurant was better than average.

The hotel did not have transportation to the airport except for once on top of the hour. The shuttles were just sitting there. The food for dinner was terrible. The floors while sitting downstairs had food all over the carpet. The only good thing was the Front desk lady after I went and asked again is there really only 1 time the shuttle runs an hour, she offered to get us an Uber. There were 6 of us. She paid for it, although it was a squeeze, it worked.

This is super nice, clean and quiet place. The food is pretty amazing and the staff very customer service driven. I dont have anything negative about my stay.

Bathroom was left with multiple hairs in the tub. Shower curtain was inadequate and flooded the bathroom. Pillows were far too big to be comfortable. Complimentary bottle water was nice. Service at Restaurant was uncoordinated. Our meals arrived 20 mins apart.

Busy property. Limited seating in the restaurant. Food was below average for the price.

Great staff and management. Our server s we’re great , the breakfast at Weston hotel is amazing
