The stay was amazing! We loved the restaurant breakfast. The elevators are very slow and there isn't any air circulation on the ride up and down. The room was very warm for a summer stay, so we had to go purchase a fan to circulate air in our suite. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay! We will definitely return in the future.

The HVAC in the room was loud, woke me up a few times during my stay and there was a water stain on the ceiling. Everything was very clean, staff was nice, parking was convenient and easy.

We had our large family reunion here. The facilities and accommodations were good and conducive to large groups. We enjoyed the pool area. The biggest problem by FAR was the lady at the counter. She was awful. She made lots of us mad as we checked in. I wanted to see if connecting rooms were available and she wouldn’t even look. She said I should have done that ahead of time. And she wasn’t nice about it AT ALL. As people checked in, about every other person came away saying she was rude. She really just wanted to listen to her earphones or look at her phone way more than help us. The lady behind the bar….Elva, I think was her name….was WONDERFUL! We all loved her!!

Great property, great location, friendly staff. Our only cons were no hot water the first night and you have to visit the front desk for pool access. We had to contact the front desk for hot water maintenance, but it was fixed by the next morning. To use the pool you have to go to the front desk, sign a waiver (never done that at a hotel before), and staff had to let you into the pool themselves. I would highly suggest having the waiver signed (wondering why it’s required) at checkin and issue a separate key (or code the room key) for pool access.

The hotel was nice, room size was very nice. Once we got settled into our room we realized our room was infested with ants. Called front desk, maintenance was quick to arrive and was very kind. My issue was they wanted to spray in there while we were in the room and with all our belongings. I asked if we could move and they said they didnt have any other rooms available till later. So we had to pack up all our things load it up, as we were checking the room to make sure we got everything I saw that the cabinets had all kinds of trash in them. The people at the front desk never apologized and acted as if it was a huge inconvenience for them. We come back later for a different room, unloaded and get ready to take a shower and it is nasty, it was NOT clean. I spoke with the assistant manager, who was VERY understanding, kind and even apologized about this situation. I was told when we checked out we would get an adjusted receipt, but we didnt. I had to call back the following day and the assistant manager gave us a full refund with no issues. Also, the pool door didnt work with our key along with several others. I would add photos, but the app is not allowing me.

me and my gf stayed here for 3 nights and we LOVED it! the staff was very friendly and pretty funny in my opinion. the room was spacious and welcoming. our only complaint was the shower didn’t have anything blocking the water from going into the bathroom and room itself. other than the shower we enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay there again!

Thin walls, could hear kids and parents shouting from nearby rooms late at night. Our bathroom shower would pour even though we set to the tap. The hotel could not fix it despite repeated requests and multiple guys coming to check it. Housekeeping is on alternate days, they did not even clear out the trash, inconvenient when traveling with little kids.

I wouldve given a higher review but we were on the top (5th) floor and the ceiling had water damage and it was pushing down. It looked it there were multiple patches done to the ceiling. Other than that the room was comfortable. I did bring it to the front desks attention.

Booked the stay . Only had one night . Check out is 11am. When we arrived room was not available. This was at 4pm . When room became available it was not room we booked . Was told over booking happened so we did not get room type we paid for . Second at 0830 in morning we get a knock on door . I guess I did not move fast enough and a person opened our door and entered room . No announcement of who they were . We are in trafficking times so that felt very unsafe . Then at 0930 I get another knock on door , I answer its housekeeping . I ask if check out is 10 or 11 ? She say 11. So I asked why are you knocking on my door before checkout ? With that you pay $15 to park and you pay $18 for breakfast. This place is way expensive to have all these flaws . Will not book there again . I hate being woke up before my alarm !

We stayed here for the night before our flight from DFW. This was not a pleasure trip. My husband’s mother was in hospice and passed the day after we arrived in Mt. Pleasant where we stayed for a week. After driving from Mt.Pleasant we were looking forward to a good night sleep. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. My main complaint is that I had called the front desk the night we arrived and requested a late check out ( our flight wasn’t until 3:30 the next afternoon) I was told to check back in the morning. I called at 9:00 am this morning and requested a 12:00 check out ( check out is at 11:00am ) I was told that they have reached their limit for “Late Check Outs “ so I was told we would have to check out at 11:00. I just called the front desk and requested to speak with a manager. There are no managers on the property today as I was told by Rosa. I explained the situation and she said she could give us a late check out but it would cost an extra $25. I requested the phone number for their corporate headquarters and I will be calling there once I arrive home.

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and was really disappointed, especially considering it’s supposed to be a more upscale place at $150 a night. Check-out time was 11 AM, but for some reason, housekeeping started knocking on my door around 9 AM—both mornings. They didn’t just knock once and leave; they kept trying to get in until I got up (half-asleep) to open the door. Once I did, they apologized—but then it happened again the next day. For the price and the reputation of the hotel, I expected more professionalism and basic respect for my privacy. I shouldn’t have to feel rushed out of my room before check-out time. Won’t be staying here again.

Left an item and called to let them know, long story short they could ship or we could pick up. The nice lady that helped never mentioned a time for pick up and my husband drove 4 hours to pick up and front desk didn’t give us the item. They were rude and didn’t even acknowledge what my husband was saying and he had to drive back! She kept saying they could ship it instead of checking with lost and found since I had entered online that I would pick up!

Love the property. Great location near shopping and restaurants. It was easy access to Mandalay canal walk as well as the 2 places our trip down was for. Safe and quiet area and hotel was quiet as well. If we ever travel to Texas again will definitely stay here. Guest service clerks well informed about area and helpful and we’re very polite and courteous very friendly and welcoming.

Just an overnight stay for an event about 2 miles away: very comfortable room for 1 with so much space and really nice amenities I wasn't expecting, the plentiful of toiletries with the standard microwave, mini fridge and a stocked up Kureig for coffee: I'm impressed. Then again, I don't get to travel much so this being a first hotel in a good few years- very happy with my choice here. Would recommend this hotel especially with the location: gas stations, retail and department shopping and plenty of takeout/restaurant options just down the road. Front staff was pleasant and got me checked in quickly at 4 pm.

Stay was great. Only complaints. Tub to shower spigot wasn’t working correctly so shower wasn’t full pressure and the toilet paper holder was broken so the toilet paper roll kept falling all. Bed was comfortable and the hotel was really clean. Oh and breakfast is overpriced.

Only negative was the breakfast cost. We pre-paid for breakfast. But the way it works is you pay full price again for the breakfast when you eat it, then they credit you at checkout for part of it. What? Either pre-pay or include in the price. I don’t need to bring an accountant with me on vacation.

Great service, comfortable and clean room. I was a little frustrated that the breakfast situation was unclear. And that the pricing of the buffet was $18/person. That's particularly steep. If that has been clear, we would have bought off the menu.
