Great experience. Didn’t care too much for the powdered scrambled eggs but the waffles were delicious. Staff was wonderful. Will definitely stay there again if I am ever back in New Braunsfels.

Great place to stay. Great location. About 10 mins away from Schlitterbahn, Comal River. Walmart, HEB, and Buc-ee’s nearby. Room was clean and spacious. Loved the multiple pillows with different firmness levels. Near the fwy but noise wasn’t a problem. Mattress was comfortable and we slept great. Didn’t use the pool. Gym was small with few machines and weights. Breakfast was good: eggs, sausage, bacon, refried beans, waffles but wish they had hash browns or home fries (they did not the 2 days we were there). Great sushi place right next door: Yasaka Sushi & Ramen. You must try the all you can eat sushi! Would definitely stay here again.

First impression of the property was it had a smell. Not bad, but different. We acclimated to it but that was the first impression. We had the King size suite for me, my wife, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. It was enough space. The sofa turned into a bed and the kids loved that. The floors were vinyl “wood” flooring which was nice since we had dogs, but they had no accidents so easy either way. The shower was dated… old school tub with convex shower curtain rod. But the rod was loose from the wall and hanging down so the curtain would not cover the whole shower wall. TVs were run of the mill and channels were standard fare. Breakfast was free which was great but the food was 5/10 at best. Highlight was the “Texas” waffle maker but the meat offerings were mid and the eggs were 2/10. Had other standard continental breakfast items. Pool was 7/10, no real “features” but clean and easy to use. I was a bit disappointed in the child lock being broken. Seemed like a big safety hazard which just pointed to more ignored maintenance. The gym was nice, with fairly new Precor machines. It was small with 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, 1 bike, and a free weight area and bench. But sufficient nonetheless. Laundry room has 1 washer and 1 dryer. $2 in quarters for each. Front desk did have quarters and detergent for sale. We’re in town for a bunch of different activities and the hotel was very centrally located which was nice. 7/10 total score.

The staff was great, helpful and courteous. Food was as expected and plentiful. The only problem was that there are only two handicapped spaces. I am handicapped and I parked in one. It is a shaded and convenient ly placed for a handicapped person. The next morning, we went outside and both spaces were covered (completely) by bird droppings. I was ashamed to get im my car and drive anywhere. We Ubered everywhere. The day we left and found a car wash 1 mile from there. There was so bird crap on my car we had to go scrub brush it off and drive through the wash a second time. That being said, it’s a shame you would not consider what you are putting your handicapped clients through this daily. We complained to the staff and they were emphatic but told us we were not the first to complain. Cut the tree down. It will show you care.

It was ok. It wasn’t great and it wasn’t terrible, it was ok. It was reasonably priced for a weekend stay we had.
