Clean, Great Staff. Is pet friendly but they charge an extra $25 for a pet. So if your booking online and have a pet please keep in mind that is not the total price.

The pool was dirty & there by the pool stinks horrible

We weren’t sure about this hotel because of the rating but this is a perfect example of the rating not being right… The lady who checked us in was very friendly and gave us a better room than I chose on Hotels.com. We were right by the pool. The room looked like it had just been renovated but they said it was done a year and half ago. Couldn’t tell. Everything looked new and clean. TV was a bit small, not a lot of water pressure coming out of shower but it was super hot and I loved it. They have great soaps and shampoos attached to the wall of the shower. Love that. The pool was super clean and had plenty of chairs and tables all around. We didn’t eat the breakfast but they do have one. We will definitely stay here again.

The ice machines for the property weren’t functioning, so I had to leave the property to get some. Not like I needed a full bucket. 10 small cubes would have been enough my purpose. Isn’t the purpose of a reservation that’s not canceled is so the room is ready for occupancy. I have stayed at other la Quinta’s I reserved the A/C was cool.

We had booked a suite, but had learned upon check in that we could not have our pet with us in those rooms and that we had to change room to a 1st floor double bed room. I would recommend to add that info somewhere on the website for clarification of the pet friendly policy. The toilet in our room did not work well. It barely flushed and kept cycling the bowl water. It wasn't clogged, it seemed like a lack of water and/or pressure from the tank to actually flush the toilet. Beds were a little stiff. Staff was welcoming and friendly. When I found out we couldn't rent the suite and were moved to a 2bed room, they did not charge us for the pet fee so that accommodation is worth noting. We had kids with us as well and they enjoyed the pool. There were other families in there swimming. The location worked well as far as eating out. Within a 10-15min area one had many restaurant options. They have full shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion pumps on the wall so you dont have to worry about packing your own which was a plus. All in all it served it's purpose, it was clean, and we were able to bring our dog.

Interesting elevator and ice machines broken. We were thankfully given a first floor room. Requested no service.

Everything was awesome! The pool was great.

The rooms were clean the shower was hot the refrigerator freezer combo worked great I stayed in that accessible room which is what I needed those were just a little low but that was fine they were comfortable staff was friendly and helpful outside rooms so if you have a problem with stairs make sure you asked for downstairs quiet place to stay for being close to the highway food in the area

When we first walked in the room it smelled like the room had been not cleaned in a while and there were cockroaches everywhere.

This is an older property, but the rooms were clean and the property was well lit. It is a great value and I would stay here again. The reception area was clean and the free breakfast buffet looked decent, but I did not eat there.

Bed was hard as a rock, there was hair all over the place, hair in the tub, on the towels, in the bed, smelled like weed.

I chose this hotel because their rooms were pictured with hard wood floors. This is important to me because I have allergies. I arrived around midnight and check in was quick enough but when I got to the room, it was a room with double beds, instead of a king bed and it had thick old carpet. I called the front desk but they explained that they didn't have my room available because they let someone extend their stay, after I had already paid for the room. The room smelled musty and moldy. I woke up w a sore throat, wheezing because of my asthma and will never stay here again.

Our room was very clean. The staff was polite and accommodating to our needs. The location was easy to get to. The breakfast area had many choices at the buffet. Would use again.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. Bathroom had vomit stains on toilet and floor wasn’t swept or vacuumed. Please please change sheets I hate seeing another person’s hair in a bed that I have to sleep in. I had to request sheets and get my own blankets.

There were crickets in the room the whole time we stayed. AC would turn off around 2am by its self, like it was on a timer. Not enough towels and toilet paper and no drawers for your cloths.

Room looked nice but everything felt damp. Carpet wet, sheets felt damp. AC blew lukewarm air. Felt like i never dried out after my shower. No vent in bathroom. No one on duty when I tried to check out at 8:45 am

The property feels dated and loud. It is a traditional motel-style accommodation, so trucks are starting up early in the morning just outside your door. The doors seem old and are not well insulated, so noise from the parking lot and the interstate that is very close are easily heard in the room.

Room is kinda small. Lots of road noise.

The mattress was sinking in the middle. The pillows were very soft and Awkard. The toilet was too close to the bathroom door. The beds made a noise every time you sat on the bed. This hotel was very outdated.

The rooms were nice ☺️ BUT very very small for a double room and the Double beds which is what I had the bed was only big enough for one person to fit so with two children that is what made it uncomfortable especially for a family of four 2 adults and 2 children will I stay again probably not only because comfort is important for me..... But it would be comfortable for two people in a room with double bed....BUT the breakfast was EXCELLENT very delicious 😋

Very nice, staff was very pleasent. Easy to get to. Interent was a bit spotty.

First night our AC was not working good. Talk to the front desk the next morning and by 3 pm they change our unit with a new on.

The front desk lady was super nice but the house keepers were kinda rude!!

I had booked this online and put my husband as the traveler in the app and upon his arrival, the night manager came very close to not letting him have the room because I was not there, even though I had booked the reservation in his name. It was very late at night and he just wanted to go to sleep And this manager delayed his check-in by over 20 minutes.

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Thank you for the stay.

The photos of this hotel need to be updated on Hotels .com. This was not anything like the pictures. Staff was not friendly. Food was just ok. Not a good experience even for a one night stay

Staff was friendly, hotel was budget friendly and nice. Exactly what I needed. They allowed pets. They also sent back a very important stuffed animal that my son had left. Will use them again!

Upon check in I was greeted by the front desk clerk Christy. She was so kind and informative and wanted to make sure all of my needs were met. That is rare these days and her customer service was OUTSTANDING!

Came to Temple for work and my conference got canceled. So we stayed the days we had planned to stay and enjoy getting out of the house and have time to relax. The staff were very friendly, AMAZING, and very helpful! Everything was great!

The woman who checked us in was very curt. She seemed slightly unfriendly but was not rude. The lady who served the breakfast was pleasant, friendly, and helpful, showing me where the ice machines were located.

Fine, no problems..... Clean room, quiet, and relaxing. Choice of eateries near by and easy access to the hotel.

Many options to eat at a walking distance. 5 minute walking distances to H-E-B.

The rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Its location was very convenient to a lot of different restaurant styles and the main highway was easy to get to.

A lot of homeless in the area and not much security in mind on the property

Staff was good, room was average but I didnt pay for anything extra then single King. Location has standard amenities surrounding such as fast food, coffee shops, a small HEB and 2 miles from a Buccees. Easy access to interstate. There breakfast left alot to be desired. Premade egg patties and sausage, machine made pancakes, cereal, fruit and carbs such as muffins and bagels. Overall, it was good for the price point. Room was clean and staff was friendly

Amazing stay close to the highway where I need to go. Food was in walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, loved, loved, loved the pancakes. Push of a button and watched them make and fall right onto my plate. Everyone was very nice, if ever in Temple will stay at the La Quinta Wyndham again. I highly recommend.

Same breakfast every morning. Morning breakfast staff poor. Facility looks like a prison.i stay at La Quintad all over but this one is old and the worse. Ceiling had hole in it. Bathroom small. No towel racks in bathroom. Cheap few towels

Free breakfast was not very good. Only eggs were boiled. No waffles just pancakes. Room needs updating.
