Very cool place. Nice hrass courtyard in this middle, with chairs isolated in groups, and a gas grill. Nothing like your standard motel. Peaceful, quiet. Guy at the desk was awesome.

The room was dirty. Old soap in the shower. Stained bedding. Only one towel available. When I asked for more they asked how many days I would be staying. 4 so they gave me 2 more. For a double queen room. No pool towels when I asked they very rudely told me I can only have one. The spa and hot tub they advertised looks like it’s been closed for a very long time. Not a single day of housekeeping. The young man who checked us in was delightful but the older man and young possibly son were so rude.

We were there 3 days. Room was clean on arrival, but we had a real hard time getting clean linens every day. The office only has towels, no washcloths. Hot tub was not working and guest laundry did not work properly. Washer did not spin out the water. Reported to front desk and nothing was done. There is a lot of room for improvement.

Very helpful staff , facilities were good , except the ice machines were not working and didn't look like they had for awhile , the hot tub wasn't open either but really good wifi , plenty of dining options and we dined a couple of nights at the Cafe across the driveway , good food reasonably priced . overall we had a great stay for 3 nights

The floors were so dirty, you couldn’t walk barefoot without your feet getting covered in dirt. Lights were broken. The trash cans outside were filthy and overflowing. There were burned holes in the sheets. It felt very unsafe to stay there. Staff at front desk were rude.

If you’re unfamiliar with the area…it’s sketchy. Worst part though was the amount of ROACHES!! I opened the door and saw easily 20 live ones running across the floor. Several dead on the wall. It was a non smoking room but the smoke detector was removed from the ceiling? There were over a dozen cigarette burns in the bedding. And the TV didn’t work…I couldn't stay and ended up leaving. Charging anything over $20 a night would be a ripoff. Eww. Just eww.

Don't let pictures fool you. This place should be called destroyed inn. This is a very old motel that they tried to slap new tile and flooring on. Spiders in my bed. Sheets appeared to have pet hair on them. Very thin bed cover. Dirty, and broken bathroom door. Not in a safe area. We checked out a day early because the room was so dirty.

This property was filthy, beds had bugs and sheets didn’t look like they had been washed. The towels looked like they had never seen bleach or were not washed,there was graffiti written all the way down the wall in big bold letters and was just left,didn’t even bother to clean it.DO NOT STAY HERE And Expedia,you should be ashamed of even having this property listed on your site

This hotel is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! We had a screw sticking out of our wall, COCKROACHES crawling in our bathroom! The first night, we were warned by a staff member at a local restaurant to clear our cars because of how bad the area was and because of drugs! Later that night we woke up to the entire parking lot SURROUNDED and FULL of cops! I requested a refund, and it was denied. The property staff did not care at all when I went and spoke with them multiple times. There is no phone or clock we are assuming so people don't steal them to sell them. This property should NOT even be in Expedia. The pictures are NOT accurate. DO NOT STAY! HERE!!! If it would let me upload pictures and video I have proof of my claims!!! The hotel again did not care that I had proof!!!! AGAIN. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The room was okay, I’ve stayed at many hotels for the same price and this by far was the worst. The bed was comfortable, minus the bed bugs. I got a few bites, luckily I was only there a few hours and not the entire night. When I got up I found the bed bug crawling in the sheets. If your looking for a cheaper hotel, I suggest anything else than this place. Asked for a refund when I got my deposit back, they refused to give me one.

This hotel seemed okay at first glance, but the closer I inspected the worse it appeared. The bedding had burn holes and stains. The curtains had brown spots, I’m guessing mold, and similar spots behind on the wall. The walls had more issues, including 3 large patched up areas, that were unfinished. It was a struggle to get the AC to work and our microwave was disgusting. The bathroom had purple marker written on the walls, mold on the ceiling above the shower, and mysterious yellow stains streaming down the door. Later house keeping came by, and nothing had changed, new sheets but this time with smaller holes and black marks, microwave still gross, and dirt in the corners and on the floor. I was extremely disappointed with the experience, and when I complained to staff at check out, I was ignored. Do NOT stay that this establishment.

This was, without a doubt, the worst place I've ever stayed. My wife, toddler, and I checked in around 8:15 pm and by 9:00 pm, we had left due to serious concerns about the environment and safety. When we arrived, the smell of tobacco and weed was overwhelming, which immediately raised red flags. Upon entering the room, we were shocked to find it in a filthy condition. The bedsheets were stained, the bathroom was dirty, and there was even what appeared to be blood on the walls. This made us extremely uncomfortable, especially with a young child in tow. While retrieving items from our car, I also noticed behavior from other guests that made me feel unsafe. The overall atmosphere was unsettling, leading us to decide it was best to leave immediately. When I informed the front desk of our early checkout, there was no concern or inquiry into our situation, which only added to our disappointment. I strongly advise others, especially families, to avoid this place. I also suggest reading Google Reviews of this place.

The first room we got was dirty with brown stuff smeared on the back of the bathroom door and it smelled like we walked in the room right after someone had just freshly smoked in it. We told them about the issue and they switched us rooms without any trouble. The second room did not smell like cigarettes thankfully, but the floors were really dirty and there was soap wrapper trash in the shower left from the last people who stayed there.

It was okay there was graffiti on our lamps and didn’t seem as clean. We found a couple stains on our bedding. There was a door to the neighboring room that was paper thin we could hear everything going on next door. A lot of homeless people around the area and was worried my car would get broken into so i would go out every couple hours to check it. Our bedroom door had two locks and one of them wouldn’t even lock. We only got two towels and they were also paper thin. It was okay just a little scary staying the night there. Lots of issues in the room looked Diy instead of professionally done. Our curtains wouldn’t shut all the way and so the wrap around red lights at the top of the building would shine directly in our room. I read online that alot of people didn’t get their security deposits back. Heads up we paid cash for our security deposit and we thankfully got it back next day! SO PAY CASH!!! No food provided there is not a courtesy breakfast like it says online so be prepared for that they will ask you to go to a neighboring cafe! For the price it was alright but not a super great stay.

Run down, no seating at the pool. Weird thing is that there is nice, new tile installed on the outside stairwell, and nice tile installed very poorly in the rooms. No carpet, which is fine for me but may be an issue for some. The door to the bathroom would not close without having to push it in and make a lot of noise.

We were late arrivals, the room was under my name and my husband arrived an hour ahead of me. They wouldn't let him check in until I got there, totally fine. When I arrived an hour later the guy said he had sold our room to someone else and wouldn't let us stay there as he was now full. I asked why he would do that especially because my husband stayed out in front of the main doors waiting on me and he said because I didn't get there when my husband did. The room had already been pre-paid for online so I had to go through the hassle of getting my money refunded.

The staff and owners really care about keeping the hotel a safe environment for all its patrons and the community. They are all respectful and personable. Our room was clean, everything was functioning as it should and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. We will definitely stay at Discovery Inn again.

2 start hotel is what it says so don't expect much more. Great for the price I think as long as you have low expectations. It's redeeming quality was Frank, the guy running front desk. Very friendly and easy to deal with and very accommodating.

Initially, coming in, they stated they could not find my booking and had to pay in full again until I told them when I booked it, they conveniently found me. They charged us a $60 deposit on top. The room had a pair of woman's pants in the dresser and weed on the bathroom counter, that when I went down to address it, they simply stated "we will not charge you for that", and did not offer to go and deal with it. When we asked about early check out as our flight was early in the morning, they said we could leave the keycards in the room and we'll get our deposit back. We did not. We called and the man on the phone said he would talk to the owner and call us back, they did not. So, we went through expedia and the hotel claimed WE left the room in a bad condition and would not give us the deposit back! I try to support smaller franchises, but this left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'd rather trust the security of a larger franchise.

I was only here for a few days so this place worked great because we weren't really in the hotel a lot. There was a really great Venezuelan restraunt called Arempas, would love to go back there. There is a cute cafe across the street too.

It's situated conveniently next to two gas stations and a McDonald's, not too close to the main road but still very accessible, next to a Trax location and right near the freeway but it's quiet. I felt safe here and I would strongly recommend this place to any travelling professional or if you need a weekend in town.

The room was cheap, but the property was terrible. There were junkies and hobos all over the place, is was scary to be out of the room at night. The room was ok at best, everything was pretty outdated but the ac worked and it was somewhat clean and comfortable, aside from the empty beer can in the closet and the purple stain on the top sheet of the bed. Probably will not stay here again if I can help it.

This is a very unsafe area. Homless people walking around. People living in rooms full time. Not very clean. Holes in walls and doors. Dirty walls and lights. The Microwave was white, but it was so old it was yellow. You can hear everything in the hallway while in your room. The photos on the website are not accurate for the rooms. Be aware!

We heard people talk and a couple arguing all night long . It was horrible , the out lit in bathroom didn’t work . Hardly any shower pressure .no continual breakfast that said they provided . It was overall not a good experience!!
