Stayed 5 days for skiing. Bus 972 stops across Fort Union and the perpendicular street, but it can be better to catch it at the Midvale light rail station on crowded days (weekends). Pretty good breakfasts here, the usual manufactured eggs, pork and turkey sausage, pancakes, etc. Room was clean. A few signs of wear in stairwell (maybe someone poked a hole in drywall with luggage?). One gets the feeling this hotel will fix that. Sidewalk was a bit uneven…needs grinding to prevent tripping hazard. Many food choices nearby. Staff were professional but not warm.

Hotel was fully booked for the weekend. Checked in and could immediately tell that the room had not been well cleaned. There were hair shavings in the bathroom sink. The shower floor was dirty, the nightstand was dirty and hadn’t been wiped down. The walls were extremely thin and we heard everything that happened all night on the floor above us with kids running up and down the halls all night. I almost always choose Holiday Inn Express because they are clean, this one definitely disappointed.

The room was just okay. It had a funky smell like the carpets had been cleaned but not dried out right. Bed was just okay. Pillows were great. The shower had no hot water and no pressure unless it was turned on cold. the shower head was enough to make you not want to shower. It was covered in calcium build up.

While the food was delicious the service was terrible and many patrons had to wait for food to be replenished. One person is not enough to service the kitchen and dining area. We stayed three days and it was like that every day. Location was great and we really enjoyed the restaurant across the parking lot. Also it was conveniently located between two venues we were attending. Staff was friendly and were able to resolve an issue with early check out that Hotels.com hadn’t been able to resolve ahead of time.

There must have been some construction going on that the time of my stay. Loud noises until unacceptable hours of the evening. Room backed up to a parking lot that looked like a construction zone. People out there before 6am using heavy equipment and playing loud music. Room seemed to not get cleaned for two out of the three days I was staying. Front desk was snooty upon check in. Also did not direct me to where my room was or where the pool was or that there even was a pool. Checkout was smooth, however. Breakfast was pretty standard. Not bad and convenient. My Uber driver could not find the entrance because it sits away from the main road behind a section of the building. Difficult to direct rideshare where to drop off and pick up everytime because it seemed inaccessible.

The hotel was average at best. The breakfast was the worst of any hotels we have stayed and that is a lot. They say breakfast is until 9:30 by 9 all 3 mornings there wasn't anything left and they didn't refill it
