I stayed here for three nights in March while visiting Capital Reef. The location is very convenient to the park, easy to find and ample parking. I had an upgraded room that was recently updated and spotless. The bathroom was still a bit dated - but functional. The hallways are a bit rough with tape at the carpet seams and pool is under renovation. Overall, for the price it was a great place to stay and would recommend if you are just looking for a clean and comfortable place to spend the night.

Reserved this hotel because of the pool. When we got there we found out it was undergoing renovations. That would have been nice if that was disclosed in the listing. Other than that it was your average hotel.

The place was average. Asked for upgrade and they couldn't because i wasnt a rewards member. Only once in 4 night stay did they service our room. The room was clean but the common area was dirty. Not much for breakfast either.

This property was nicely furnished and well kept up; and we had an excellent room for our family of 6, which consisted of 2 king size beds and a pull out sofa bed. It was close to all the restaurants that the Front Desk Attendant suggested to us, and we really enjoyed the location as it was only a 10 to 15 minute drive to Capitol Reef National Park. We really liked the little tourist shops that Torrey, UT had to offer and we even were able to enjoy the Farmers Market that was held at the City Park when we were not hiking. It is nice to have a pool and hot tub at this property. Our kids enjoyed it and I enjoyed it because all the swimming helped them sleep very well. I gave the rating 4 stars as the shower curtain in the bathroom looked like it had a little mold stuck inside the lining of it and they could replace the sealant around the jetta tub to make it look nicer.

This hotel was very dingy and overpriced. When we arrived there was an overpowering smell in the hallway that seemed as though they were trying to cover the smell of smoke with cleaning supplies. Upon arrival to our room there was a terrible stench similar to body odor. We went to find someone at the desk and no one was to be found. The beds were not the cleanest. This places needs some serious renovations and attention to cleaning. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere nice.

Very basic hotel. Rooms are dated and not the cleanest. I found a hair on the phone, and the sheets were stained. The TV was extremely small. The staff wasn't present most of the time and at check in, they asked for my credit card "in case I break something" which seemed like an odd thing to stay. Overall, it's okay for a night to sleep, however I found it to be overpriced for the condition of the hotel.

What we didn't like was overall look. Needed some TLC. There was an odor the moment we opened the building door. No elevator! We had to make several trips up and down the stairs with heavy luggages and misc.

I understand this is a budget motel, and I wasn’t expecting luxury—but the lack of basic comfort is unacceptable. The room doors are far too small for the frames, leaving a visible half-inch gap all around. I had to stuff six towels around the door just to block out some of the noise—that alone should tell you how bad the sound insulation is. I’d actually read the reviews about noise before booking, but usually my ear plugs block out hotel corridor noise and traffic with no problem. But they made no difference at all here! To make matters worse, there’s a sofa seating area in the hallway, right outside the guest rooms, which encourages people to sit and socialise late into the evening. This is completely baffling, especially when so many reviews have already complained about noise. Why place a communal seating area right next to the rooms when the doors don’t even seal properly? A decent night’s sleep should be the bare minimum at any hotel, regardless of price. Until management fixes the door gaps and rethinks the layout, I really wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We upgraded to a 2 king suite for 20/night and it was well worth it. The room was very comfortable. The beds were great and we were able to spread out very comfortably for 4 adults. Breakfast was very basic. The pool and hot tube was nice. Good location with lots of food options within 1 mile.

Our stay was awful. First night the power was out (but not the fault of the hotel). At 5:30 am on June 22nd the fire alarm went off and there was no one at the front desk or anywhere to be found. The alarm stopped in its own some how. Still no staff to be found. The next evening at 11:30 pm, the fire alarm goes off again and it wouldn’t stop. Again, no staff to be found anywhere. Another patron tried calling the fire department and had no answer. Finally after 20 minutes the manager shows up with no explanation nor any desire to have the fire department come check it out. A patron had to call 911 get the fire department to come and our young children were terrified. The cause of the alarm to go off was something was having issues in the pool area. The fact that no staff was around was extremely concerning and my children didn’t want to stay any longer but we had no other option. Thankfully the fire department gave the clear and we were able to go back to our rooms but it took quite a bit of time to get our kids to settle enough to go to sleep.

It was awful!!! I have come off and on staying here since the opening off this location and I am pretty sure the beds are the originals. The last 2 nights I had been woken up 3 times to a fire alarm blaring in my ears. Friday they had a blackout across the county so I just thought that was the one then. Sat night it rang again and much longer than the other, which none of the staff were helping at all. With all the fire alarms there was never any emergency services attending to it either. Turns out there it must be an on going issue because the alarm is silenced to the emergency services. A few of the tired, angry people called 911 for them to check for us to have peace of mind there is no fire or carbon monoxide (without the help of the staff). Also the fire alarm was turned off manually or would have kept going. I will never stay there again this is not my first bad experience but had been a bit so thought it’d be okay….NEVER AGAIN and will tell people the same.

The on-line check-in made it easy once I got to the hotel. I just told them who I was and I got the keys. We were able to make it to the restaurant nextdoor before they closed. The employee at the front desk was kind and very helpful.

This hotel was a fantastic value for visiting Capitol Reef. The breakfast was great. Two kinds of bagels, two kinds of toast, two kinds of muffins, hard boiled eggs, multiple types of instant oatmeal and cold cereal, two types of juice, hot tea and coffee, multiple flavors of yogurt. Room was clean and comfortable. Mattress was excellent. Room had both a fridge and a microwave in it.

The area didn\'t have much in the way of amenities. We finally found a good restaurant for dinner, thanks to a helpful convenience store clerk who forewarned it would be expensive. Also, we didn\'t find the "grab and go breakfast", as did another couple as well.
