The hotel was absolutely filthy. Pool out of order. Washer and dryers had been removed. Towels stained and soaking somewhere. Broken toilet seat. No air conditioning.. it blew hot air.The manager said the the whole staff quit 2 weeks ago! And they're still taking reservations! I hope they give me my money back since I checked out 2 hours after checking in. Called Hotels.com. And they helped us get into the Hilton...much better!

Staff were nice, parking was excellent and the pool was open. However, some of the ceiling tiles above the pool were hanging down and about to fall into the pool. Fire doors were not held back by electromagnets, and were always banging super loudly all day and night.

No one was ever at the front desk when we needed something. Our card key to our room did not work. The carpet in the room was damp and the ceiling had obvious signs of moisture. The elevators were dirty. The ‘pool’ area had ceiling tiles that were peeling off. The ‘gym’ is hot and humid with no nearby water fountain. If you are looking to stay in this area I’d strongly advise you to consider other accommodation.

It's affordable to reserve a room, good customer service but downside is that they need to fix the elevator especially they have so many people are reserving room, need to fix the laundry room and hopefully to put more instructions because we were trying to use coins but there is no instructions or anything where to insert the coins, also need to clean the laundry room, need to fix the 5th floor ice machine because honestly, its too hassle to go down and up just to get some ice. Also, need to clean the pool and i don't know if its safe to swim because the water is greeny. Lastly, they need to put AC on the gym and wipes for cleaning.

. The shower was missing a liner to stop water and the tub was on a slope. So much so that you had to brace yourself when showering. The water pressure was virtually not there. Also this is the second time we have stayed here in the last couple months. The first we could not use the pool because it was green and they had a sign on it that said under maintenance. So the kids could not use the pool and that ms one of the reasons we chose the hotel. This time the pool was the same green with no sign saying not to use it.

Floor was soaked and nothing that a wet&vac could have taken care of. Phone in room didnt work had to use cell phone to touch base with front desk. No elevator, pool was closed 2nd day because of a party goung in the dining room and lobby. Hallway had puke on the floor and steps. Door key didn't work until after 4 times coming down to lobby. This is the worst place that I have ever stayed in. No mgr on duty to talk to.

There are stains everywhere, even just walking up to the room. The room itself was pretty dirty. The toilet was running nonstop when I arrived. There were cockroaches on the walls stains on the walls bathtub with stand and dirty ended up canceling and getting a full refund.

Not Impressed!! Entering our room we were hit with a musty odor, walked across water soaked carpet (not sure where the water coming from) to turn the a/c on and discovered the sofa/bed was missing a cushion and was so dirty that we never sat on it. One of the bed's comforters had a blood stain on it also had an area of mold that measured 10 inches in diameter. The shower did not have hot water, the water control knob just spun around in both directions. There was mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. The shower curtain rod was ready to fall off the wall. It was drooping down so the shower curtain would not stay closed. The toilet was not mounted properly to the floor, it would tip back and hit the wall. The vent in the bathroom was filled with dust and dirt. We asked and were moved to another room the next morning. This room was cleaner. There was an issue with the smoke alarm beeping every 30 seconds. I just disconnected it. The lobby/breakfast/sitting area had a worker sanding drywall on the ceiling. There was nothing-no plastic put up to isolate the area where the work was going on, therefore drywall dust was getting on the tables and the food in the breakfast area. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

This is by far the worst hotel that to stay night in. To start, the smell of mildew and marijauna will hit you in the face like a ton bricks when you walk through the deceiving doors. The foyer area is what made it deceiving. The filthy excuse of a hallway decorated with peeling walls, ambiguous stains, and trash lay everywhere. After navigating through the hallway, you’ll enter your room only to be met with something even worse. Upon closer inspection, you’ll find blood stains (or something similar to blood)cky substances caked on the walls, bed frames, and ground, strange brown goo on the walls, mold on the vents and curtains, missing/broken safety features (smoke alarm and door deadbolt), clearly unchanged bedsheets with human hair, furniture with chunks missing, grimy windows, a sofa even the bugs are scared to touch, outdated appliances like the microwave, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, grime in the toilet bowl, disgusting appliances such as the lamps, and rust dripping from water sprayers. There were smoked rolls of cannabis in the staircases as well as used plastic ware lay about. In the fitness area, you’ll see the tiny room filled with pitiful equipment big enough for maybe two people. The pool, filled with green, murky water that looks almost radioactive. Asked the front desk for extra towels, but was told they were out and gave me hairy pool towels instead. So gross. Beds were firm and not changed from other guests prior

The hotel had a big sign that said 100% smoke free and the halls and run was full with the smell of smoke. I told the desk clerk and she didn’t seemed to be interested. The first floor and the second floor was Aweful with that smell. The hallway carpets on the first and second floor was filthy. The elevator smelled like smoke. The smell actually got my granddaughter sick after leaving there. The room wasn’t fully clean. The bathroom floor was dirty as well as the tube. I am asking for a full refund.

We checked in and were immediately APPALLED by the condition of our room. I wish I would’ve taken a picture. The bed was just the mattress, no sheets, and the room looked like a party had happened in it. Wood was splintered all over the floor and was in shambles. My husband and I immediately removed ourselves and our pets from the room. The hotel wreaked of weed as well. The front desk worker said no other rooms were available. We ended up going to a hotel across the street which was MUCH more pleasant. This was our second time staying here-we will NEVER be back again.

Stayed overnight, third floor room 310, dirty elevator, dirty floor, cracking ceiling in the bathroom, and cockroaches in the bathroom, crawling, so disgusting. Never experienced anything like this, even in a motel. Forget about the breakfast, I won’t even touch them, not that there are much choice’s anyway.

It was nice that the hotel allowed us to check in early and kept us at the same rate booked, however we did not get a suite. I was told this when I went down to extend the stay one night. The bathroom toilet ran constantly so we had to keep turning the water off. There seemed to be a hole in the wall near the sofa bed. Water stains from water damage on the wall and all lamp shades. The light on the mirror had one light hanging like someone pulled it. One lamp shade near the sofa bed seemed to have black mold on it. You would only find it if you turned the lamp. The fridge was broken and when we checked in had to be thawed. So we had water all on the floor. The front desk didn’t keep track of who checked in or out and when they first checked us in gave us another persons room that extended their stay.

There were many things wrong with this hotel. It’s almost hard to believe it’s in such bad shape considering its location in Innsbrook. Staff never made eye contact once. I attempted to interact with three different staff, two were on their phones with earbuds in and didn’t acknowledge me. This was even the case when I checked out a day early. Elevator was broken, had to take luggage up three flights. Stairwell was filthy and reeked of urine and cigarette smoke. Hallway floors appeared not to have been swept in weeks. In my room, the hallway light was broken and two of the other lights were inoperable. There were multiple water stains on the ceiling and peeling paint and wallpaper throughout the room. The comforter had a cigarette burn mark/hole in it. The couch had a huge tear in the upholstery and was sunken in- couldn’t sit on it. There were ants throughout the room and the water pressure in the sink was nonexistent. The bed was somewhat comfortable - the only saving grace. The second night the hallway reeked of marijuana and the smell crept into the room. There were also people “partying” in the hallway until at least 11pm. I had enough and checked out the next day - I had a three day reservation and checked out after two days, couldn’t bring myself to stay another night. When I was gathering my belongings to leave, there was a heavy burning smell in the hallway - the only way to describe it would be burning plastic combined with cat urine and skunk.

The location is pretty good. But I feel the hotel equipments really need better maintanance. A lot of stuff was out of order. The window curtain was out of hook in the first room assigned to me; then the staff changed a room for me. The window curtain was still not in good shape but a little bit better than the first room. The door knob was loose; the basin blocker was missing; a bulb was out of order; the shower stream was too small. I feel it was not very comfortable. But the location is really good. There are very good restaurants in walking distance. If they repair all those non-working stuff, it would be a good place for vacation.

Staff was nice and helpful. Property looks nice pool and Gym included. Room was clean but it was a dirty used towel hanging on the door in the bathroom and the 3rd floor hallway leading to my room smelled horrible and the people beside us smoked and you could smell in the bathroom so had to keep the door shut. It was also a lot of different type of people may or may not been on drugs. Our neighbors also had a fight at 5AM apparently someone stole something from him. The hotel itself was not bad at all it was really just some the people occupying it.

Door lock was broke, key card didn’t work, so basically had to “break in” into my room every time I wanted to get back in. Sports team was staying there, teenagers can be quite loud and inconsiderate. However, it was good for one night and the staff was more than helpful, respectful, and very accommodating. Five stars should go to staff alone.

Needed to make a last minute change to my itinerary and the staff was more than accommodating and didn’t charge a cancellation fee for one night that was canceled. Also, there was a problem with the toilet in my original room, but they were quick to move me down the hall. Great customer service!

When I went to check into the hotel, the lobby was packed , there were two ladies at the front desk at first and then one left leaving the other lady there to check in all of these people and when she returned, she decided to get on her phone and not help anyone. The room that I stayed in had a musty smell, the carpet was dirty and the handle on the toilet was broken so you had to keep jiggling it to get the water to fill back up in the tank. I don't think I will be staying at this hotel again..

The checkin was easy. The staff quickly got extra towels when I needed more. They were helpful in answering questions. We enjoyed our stay there. The staff were super nice and friendly. The breakfast was great! Waffles, eggs, sausages, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, and the condiments. Cranberry, apple, and orange juice as well as lemonade. Milk, coffee, tea. The breakfast was very good. The dining area was clean, comfortable, plenty of seats, and you could watch tv during your meal.

My day was fine but this evening December 8, 2024 at approximately around 8 or 9 PM the person that was working the front desk was very unprofessional very disrespectful. I had an issue with her dealing with two beverages I brought, but as I hand her my money, I expect the same courtesy when someone gives me my money back when I give it to you on your hand, you give it back to me in mine not put my money on the counter. That’s very disrespectful and unprofessional so I asked for the manager. The young lady told me but first we got to dispute where I asked her to give me my money back and give it to me in my hand and then I asked for the manager. She told me she don’t give the managers personal number to the guest that’s OK but then I asked her for the corporate number and she sat back in the chair and made like I wasn’t even in front of her. I stood there for a few more minutes or a few more seconds to say and I asked her again ma’am may I have the corporate number because I’m not gonna tolerate this from no one, especially being rude and unprofessional so the manager came downstairs, she told the manager her side story and I told the manager my side of the story, but she gonna be on the phone telling the manager she want meput off the premises because of her respectfulness and her unprofessionalism. I’m the one that’s wrong. She has a job to do and she’s supposed to cage to the guest. I’m not saying go out of your way, but how she handled the situation was very unprofessiona

The other member of the FD was impolite, dismissive, and could have cared less about the issues that was being created for myself as well as other patrons of the hotel - FYI I am a choice member and also work at Choice Hotels.

I thought since we were in innsbrook this would be a nice hotel. I thought WRONG. First thing that happened elevator broke as soon as we got there, customers were complaining to me about the smell of marijuana all throughout the hotel. Oh! And the receptions screams profanity When she finds out the elevator is broken. We get to our room after FIVE flights of stairs. Mind you, I have a 2 year old. And the room is 90 degrees. We let it go for a few hours to see if it would get cooler but it never did. So we moved to a new room on the second floor. Once we got there…I tried to sleep but SOMEONE WAS DRILLING A TOOL AT 11PM AT NIGHT! I also went outside and there were groups of people just standing there smoking pot. Nothing was done. This place needs new ownership. I have never been to a hotel so bad in my life. I’ve been to many!

A nice hotel in a great location - especially for a Richmond area baseball tournament - was close to all parks no matter which direction it was. The property is tucked back in a quiet area away from the main roads, but close enough to them. There are plenty of good dining options 2 miles or less away ranging from fast food to pricier options at the Short Pump Town Center. The breakfast is good enough, but the coffee is not as good as at other Comfort Suites we've stayed at. All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant. The ONLY negative was when I ran into a roach when I got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Only one, but still made us all a bit uneasy. We decided to wash even the clothes we didn't wear when we got home. Don't want to bring any of those suckers home! But other than that, it was nice.

Registration staff was excellent . The hotel had several dirty areas . Our hallway had trash on the floor and was not cleaned up from Friday to Sunday . The door to the elevator room was propped open with a bucket our entire stay . The sofa in our room was also worn and very dirty. The breakfast bar was good but very crowded and they couldn’t keep up with having food available. The hotel is in a good location to Innsbrook and Short Pump .

Loved the front desk and breakfast staff. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There are walking trails around lakes within a walkable 1/4 mile. Cons:The paint and wall paper are peeling in the bathroom a lot although the bathroom is clean. Walls are very thin to the adjoining room.

Staff was great. This property needs some work. Water stains in the ceiling, shower wallpaper peeling off badly, sofa in room very dirty and scratched up, floors in hallway dirty. Guy who was cleaning floors was using smelly dirty water. Breakfast was low quality compared to other CIs ive bern to. I only stay at Comfort Inns because they usually are clean, quality places. This one is not. Needs alot of work. The area is very nice.

The property is run down and has a musty smell. But the front desk staff was very helpful and responded quickly with switching our room since the AC didn’t work in the first room we were assigned. At the free breakfast there was no juice as the machine was out of order, and they completely ran out of milk by 7 am. The yogurts were not cold. They should suspend breakfast if they are out of everything

On the first morning of our two day stay, there basically was no breakfast, even though one was included in the rate. There was no milk, no juice, no creamer, etc. And the attendant could not care less. I will not stay with this hotel chain again. This was my first experience with this chain.

I wanted to like this place but it was unpleasant from the start. If you book through Expedia, hotels.com or any of those sites you can only use a credit card to pay for your room, no cash, Apple Pay or any prepaid card type of payment. Very inconvenient when my debit card is a non branded bank debit card. The lady at the front desk was extremely patient and nice while i figured out a way to move money to a card their system would allow. The front of the hotel was clean but not very inviting, it looked like an empty office building. Pool is saltwater and the pool room smelled pretty bad and there is mold growing on the walls. Not the hotels fault but some kids had their bearded dragon in the pool which was concerning. Other than the main floor, it looks like the place doesn’t have a house keeper, floors, walls, elevators, everything was dirty and smelled of mildew. The first room they put us in smelled horrible and the tv was broken, they moved us into a different room and there was trash beside the couch, it also smelled horrible, the shower curtain was moldy and there was hair stuck to the bathroom ceiling. We made due because the beds looked clean and it was already late. Went to get ice from the ice maker and that entire room smelled like a litter box. We woke up to cockroaches crawling on the nightstand and that was enough for us to leave. Definitely would not stay there again.

Checked into room 505 and found only half of the lights in the room worked. TV did not work, there was no room phone, there was no toilet paper and maintenance was out of it for entire hotel,(“an order had been placed but didn’t come in”) Changed rooms! Second room was clean, everything worked and there was one full roll of toilet paper. Cable goes out if it rains. Had to sign onto internet daily. The entire place needs to be updated. Elevators were dirty, carpets are stained and garbage outside of door of one room was on the floor for three days. Housekeeping comes in at the end of your stay unless you ask for it. Towels were rough and thin. Breakfast was ok and those who worked that area were excellent. Folks at the front desk were helpful and did the best that they could with what they had. Next time we go to the area the Comfort Suites will not be on the top of our list as a place to stay.

Overall, a good, clean place to stay. Hot water in the shower was just warm, not hot. Hotel could use some general maintenance upgrades. Breakfast was good and the attendant was super helpful and polite.
