Wanting to make sure there was a pool and hot tub, we called ahead and asked. Without hesitation they said yes. Upon arrival the hotel was nice and the staff were friendly. Once settled in we went to explore. I couldn’t wait to see the hot tub. When we went to the pool and hot tub area there was a sign that said out of order until further notice. The hot tub was empty and full of construction debris. It looked like it had been broken for a while. The pool was dirty and had a film on it. We didn’t even let the kids swim. When I asked the staff I was told it was working. When I mentioned the sign I was told it would be checked into. They called back and said it was broken and they had no time as to when it would be fixed. When I told them how upsetting that was as I had called before booking to make sure and I was told yes. Nothing was done to make it right. For the staff to not let us know when we called was not ok. One of the elevators was out of service which made getting to the 6th floor slow and cumbersome. The bathroom in our room was also dirty and the tub did not drain and filled as you showered. I would not stay at this DoubleTree location ever again.

It was a nice, comfy room. I was disappointed in the fact that their pool & hot tub was closed for maintenance. I picked this hotel for that reason. None the less, I enjoyed a couple beers at thr bar.

Hot tub wasn’t hot and the jets didn’t work it also felt slimly. Hot water in the room wasn’t hot right away it took 10 minutes for the water to run before the hot water came water in room 1819.

We have been staying in Tukwila for years for soccer games and tournaments. We just found the Doubletree with racket ball courts and a big gym. This is where we will be staying every time from now on. It has a pretty good restaurant and bar too

Exterior entry way was filthy. There was trash and spilt liquids that made for a very poor welcoming. Lobby furniture was a sore eye considering the price to stay here. The pool hot tub was not working. The room had a moldy smell, garbage behind the bedroom tv stand, and the coffee pouch was still there from the previous visitor. Will not ever consider staying at any double tree ever again.

The maintenance of this hotel is awful. Stinky smell upon arrival. Our room had an unbearable misty, moldy, damp and stale smell. Opened window to mitigate stench. Dusty drawers in room with mold smell. Mold spores on bathroom wallpaper behind towels. Thin towels; some hand towels had holes. Had to close windows at night as was too noisy from high trafficked area. The elevators were dirty (napkins on floor) and smashed glass panels. PROS: The bedsheets were clean.The front desk staff friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle was on time and reliable. Close vicinity to Sea-Tac airport, 7 min drive (traffic depending). There is a large Westfield Mall within walking distance with IMAX. Many restaurants in area. TARGET also within short walking distance to get essentials such as water, snacks etc. I am still confused as to how Expedia recommends this hotel, an 8 out of 10?! Obviously I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Had not one but both comforters stained with what looked like bodily fluids. The worst part is that the sheets were hiding the filth and our children and ourselfs slept in it. Called the frint office and were told they would clean the room and replace all linens, shortly after room service arrives with only a comforter and tossed out in the counter. I let him know that we were told the room would be recleaned and he said I'm only dropping off the comforter and walked out. We were on our way out and had to make sure we would get all linens replaced yet again. So disappointing so much has changed since our last stay. We love the location but Would not stay at this location again.

Convenient place near mall and Target. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Free shuttle in nice van. However the hotel is outdated like from 70s. Noisy. Old toilet about to overflow. Really rusted door hinges. Carpet is old. Motel style door entry. Poor sound insulation. Super soft beds. Not my favorite. Thay charge $2.50 for a bottle if Kirkland water. No free bottled water. No free coffee or tea. I had 2 TVs in the 2 rooms. Overall was fine.

What we didn't like was our check-in with Anne. Very unprofessional, confrontational, wasn't able to answer simple questions about the hotel. We also did not like how loud it was. There was a party going on until 2 am outside our room. The walls are paper thin. We could hear all conversations and yelling as well as balls dribbling above us. What we liked was the way the front desk resolved our issues and listened to our concerns. Everyone (with the exception of Anne) was lovely to deal with.

It was obvious the female breakfast server hated her job. She was actually rude and we seated ourselves and never did see anyone to pour coffee or give us a cheque. The older male server was very attentive and you could see how hard he was working. Front desk was great and helpful. Night time shuttle driver was also quite rude - daytime guy was great.

Didn't like the $20/night parking fee or having to join Hilton Honors to get free internet. (I didn't). Room was amazing. Large with separate TV room and pull out couch. Enjoyed the pool. Grace at the front desk was extremely wonderful.

Kids couldn’t take baths because the plug was broke and wouldn’t hold water in tub. Front desk said there was no engineers available at night. Front desk staff they would talk to supervisor and call me back but never did. Bed sheets smelt like perfume, the beds were broke and sank in the middle. Charging usb port on desk was broke. Tv options had poor selections. Most hotels these days allow you to login in to at least Netflix on the tv.

The idiot shuttle driver drove right past me and my child at the airport after we called and specifically told them where we were. The driver looked at us and kept driving. This was at 930pm in the freezing cold after a 7 hour flight. We were told we could just wait another half hour for the next one. No thanks. This place stinks. Don’t rely on the shuttle especially if you have hungry and tired children.

Everything was clean and fresh, bed was very comfortable. Transportation to get you just about anywhere is within walking distance. We stayed three nights, we did not rent a car, walking distance to the mall, bus transportation available at the mall, took shuttle to airport to grab the light rail to downtown. Buses, light rail, very clean, bus drivers friendly and offered advice when asked.

This was a good airport option - just be careful when booking - it's NOT the Doubletree right near SeaTac. It's down in Southcenter. I made this mistake when I booked via phone on the tarmac after landing in SeaTac. Two other separate people on the shuttle were also mismatched with their bookings. Other than that, it was nice, staff was friendly and the room was clean, quiet, and fine.

This was a perfect place for a quick stop in Seattle. Staff were friendly and the bed/room was comfy and spacious. Close to a major shopping centre with everything you could want. We would definitely stay again. Plus the free airport shuttle was awesome.

first of all we had to pay to park at the hotel we stayed at, Our Truck along with 3 other cars were broke into and various items of value were taken. No security cameras outside, The hotel at first said the reimburse me $16 for my parking fee since our truck was broke into but know they are saying they will also refund my stay. The man who cleaned up all the glass and made us a make shift window was so polite. The hotel was very nice and clean but provide no security of any kind and that is sad

Breakfast buffet is ridiculously overpriced. I was there with my 3 yr old and wanted to get a little bit of food to take back to our room for him. Can only fit so much in a to go box. I expected to be able to fill a tray and take to the room. $30 for a waffle, dry fruit loops and some fruit ! Rooms are outdated, need some USB plug in options.

I’ve used this hotel for 15 years when I travel to the PNW. They have the most comfortable beds and pillows, always have a great night sleep. Friendly staff, clean environment. Never used the bar or restaurant but I’m sure it’s fantastic! It’s close to SeaTac airport. Just recently we used the link. We took a 5 minute Uber ride to the station and used the link to go to the Pike Place Market

The 24hrs airport shuttle was one of the main reasons why I chose the Doubletree. I didn't have to stress about not getting picked me up on time for a 5am flight. Second reason was the location and the convenience of walking to places. The Westfield mall, restaurants, stores, etc...were all within walking distance. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. Khit (sp?) was very helpful when I called to request a shuttle from the airport. I have never been to Seattle so I didn't know where to catch the shuttle. She was very nice during check in as well. I would stay at the Doubletree Southcenter again.

The hotel is a bit outdated for the price. Disappointed that it’s a family friendly hotel, but there’s no microwave in the room. The connecting door to the next room is pretty bad. We heard our neighbor’s kid cry and complain. We had 5 people on the reservation and there were only 2 towels in the room. It’s in a good spot- close to everything.
