At check-in, I was told you had switched software and your card machine was down. Staff were using carbon paper to record guests’ credit card numbers, names, and expiration dates. I found this handling of sensitive financial information deeply concerning. If these records are not securely stored and properly destroyed, anyone with access to them could potentially use that information to make unauthorized charges. Guests should be able to trust that their financial information is protected throughou their stay. Before leaving the next day, I requested both carbon copies containing my information. Your staff provided them, which satisfactorily addressed my immediate concern. However, it did not resolve the broader issue of how other guests’ information was being protected. A software change or equipment failure does not excuse inadequate safeguards. In my view, this was a serious failure to protect your guests’ financial information. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC): The federal agency specifically addresses data security practices. It has taken action against hotel companies over inadequate protection of guests’ information. The carbon book was at the front desk and visible to me and any other guest checking in. It is in your best interest to maintain proper security for all hotel guest. The front desk was not very friendly or helpful. But the woman working at the bar was wonderful and even got us food after the kitchen had closed as our plane arrived late.

This past Thursday spent at the Radisson Sea-Tac was our 3rd stay. We love the location & and easy access especially during late arrival flights to this airport. We are always welcomed warmly, checked in promptly & taken care of while there. The Radisson has a spotless & comfortable waiting area. We are able to relax in that lobby with easy access to beverages of all kinds, a lovely restaurant and near another popular restaurant with an extensive menu. The check-in desk staff are very understanding & professional. I made a mistake on my booking and they understandably rectified my dilemma. They know that ‘life happens’ and humans are not perfect and they did what they could to console my error. Another amazing perk we enjoy is the airport shuttle that can pick up or drop off. Fantastic !Thank you friends at Raddison Sea-Tac! I know I’ll be back to stay in your comfortable & spotless rooms. Cheers to your amazing service ❤️
