Perfect location 2 blocks from the Light Rail, close proximity to Pike Place Market and T*Mobile Park! The Hotel itself is modern, comfortable and has a great Bar and food menu. The Staff is super friendly and helpful with nearby suggestions and making your stay excellent. I would definitely stay here again!

More valet staff was desperately needed to park cars thursday late afternoon. A significant number of cars were lined up in the streets backing up traffic on 5th avenue. We spent what seemed like close to an hour in line on seneca waiting for our turn to valet.

No swimming pool. Business center didn't work, they didn't provide an alternative(needed to work on a computer for 20 mins) both computers in business center were down. Front desk agents were rude and not helpful. Property is outdated and overpriced, if you're reading this and considering, book the Fairmont across the street.

This is an amazing hotel right in the middle of everything in downtown Seattle. Super close to the water, super close to restaurants. The hotel was fantastic, the gym was amazing. Can't recommend this hotel enough!

Liked the locate and it was nice having an onsite restaurant/bar. Saturday night had a DJ. It was lively and fun atmosphere. Very walkable to Pikes place and restaurants. You could scooter down to Lumen field. Room was nice with a comfortable bed. There could be more attention to detail with housekeeping.

Valet service was abysmal. We waited for 40 minutes in plain view of the valets in a queue of cars only to be told that the lot was full, which I later learned that those checking in well prior to me had already been told. While waiting, I went in to check in and was told by a guest that they were told the parking lot was full by the valet attendant. It would have been so easy for them to advise everyone all at once instead of us waiting 40 minutes in line. Our bathroom was disgusting - mold in the shower, dirty grout around the bathtub, and our room was not what we ordered, leaving us all crammed in a small room. This is easily the most disappointing stay I've had a at a W hotel or any other Marriott property.

The bathroom was honestly about a 3 in cleanliness, it really needed a deep clean, but the rest of the property was wonderful. We had also been told that we would receive a $28 credit per day towards any room service we ordered, but that was not applied to our final bill. Otherwise, the people working at the W were wonderful, the hotel is in a great location, and we would likely stay here again.

My only real complaint is the walls are thin (you can kinda hear conversations and doors shutting to say the least) and the last day the tub would not drain water after a 3 nights stay. Thin walls happen, so I’m not toooo broken up about it but the tub filling was annoying at best. The room was a little worn and I know it’s not all gonna be awesome in a 20 floor hotel with HUNDREDS of rooms and very busy. But hey, it’s kind of a party hotel and it’s a good location in my opinion. Would I stay again? Yeah, I probably would, actually. But if I wanted a more refined stay I’d upgrade a little bit to a “better” hotel. In the end, for the money amenities (I booked via Orbitz) I would stay again. Staff was very nice during my stay and had personality, so for this trip and sensibilities it was very acceptable.

Overall looked clean, beds were nice and views of the city were great! Walls are paper thin, can hear every door close or open upstairs / downstairs ect… could hear clear conversations thru the walls and TVs at night so don’t expect quiet… on the 21st floor so relatively up there but can still hear the traffic noises.. honking like it was the 5th floor right outside.. overall not at terrible experience if your looking for a one night stay for a bar hopping night in town to crash at 2am.. not as spectacular of a room as “ announced “

Property was ok. Pretty average hotel. Lobby looks nice. Front desk service is unorganized and not very friendly. Room was not ready on time. They tried to "upgrade" us from the top floor to a middle floor. Definately told them no. Mountain veiw room even on the 26th floor had no view of the mountains. Just a scam name. Parking is way over priced.

My husband and I stayed at the W Hotel for our 1st visit to Seattle. Ray helped us with check in, he was friendly, sweet and very helpful. The hotel is definitely a 5 star for us, the only negative thing is they need to tell customers about ( incidentals) which I believe they call destination fee ours was $75 a night.......

Hotel location is great, staff is very friendly and always willing to assist with any needs, walking distance to main points of attraction. However, I didn't feel comfortable walking after 7:00PM, streets are full of homeless people and unfortunately, most of them are under the influence of some drug, so when traveling alone with your teen daughter is kind of scary; other than that Seattle is beautiful, excellent weather.

New Years Eve stay and trip to Seattle - very comfortable room - went for drinks and a great meal nearby - only complaint was no coffee maker in the room, no guest coffee in the lobby and a 30 min lineup for takeaway. On weekends and holidays no coffee shops open near the hotel so it would be good to have take away coffee in the lobby

Room service was terrible. The menu options are limited, as are delivery hours. 4:00 in the afternoon and you cant order anything because the menu becomes active when dinner starts at 5:00. No snacks, no drinks, nothing. Also, nothing is available "all-day" so if you want to order something late night you can forget it. Speaking of drinks, the room service menu only has beer and wine. So, since there was no room service available in the afternoon and we wanted food and a drink, i went down to the bar/nightclub in the lobby. The server seemed irritated that i was ordering"to go", but whatever. I was irritated that i had to come downstairs for fries and a margarita. I get my bill and the margaritas are twenty plus each. I notice its with the most expensive tequila there. I asked why that was and was told that they give you the most expensive unless you request something else. Huh?? I said i wouldnt be paying that, so they rung me up with the well liquor. I got my order 20 minutes later, then went to my room only to find out theyd left out half of my order. When i called to get it sent up, i was told it would be an hour since they were backed up. Backed up during the time they arent even doing room service?? Poorly decorated rooms, shot glass sized coffee "cups", "king" beds that are actually queens. Not worth the eight hun plus per night. Ill never go here again, will tell everyone i know to never go there, and i suggest anyone reading this take the same advice.
