The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. Parking is a block and a half away. The elevator was out of service and we were on the 4th floor. Usually not a deal breaker but I was having massive back issues and the stairs sucked. Was glad to see a waffle iron out for the continental breakfast.

Great location to the ferry terminal and Pioneer Square station. Property is old but been maintained well. Small room and slow elevator. Staff is very friendly.

Excellent stay! Hotel was clean/quiet with secure parking option. Staff was professional and friendly. Very close to Link station with free shuttle stops in front of hotel. Would definitely stay again!

We needed to park our car and no hotels downtown offer parking. This hotel did and it was great! Secured and attached to building. The rate was great and the location of hotel was wonderful! Best breakfast in a longtime and coffee machine in lobby. Best decision in Seattle hands down!!!

The only thing we did not like was there was no onsite parking and the closest was a 10 minute walk. A thing to keep in mind is the parking garage opens at 8am on Saturdays and closes at midnight so just be aware.

When I was looking for a place to stay on Expedia I specified “free parking” as a requirement. There was no free parking at this hotel. I’m extremely disappointed that Expedia didn’t filter out this property because parking was a $30 extra charge on top of a fairly expensive room. Please correct your filters so that doesn’t happen again.

Nice room in an older building. No view from our room except the building next door. Room and hotel were very clean. Very close to waterfront and Luman Field. Breakfast was ok. Not much hot food other than making your own waffle or toast. Check in and out was easy. On site parking garage was nice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and the room was overall clean. However, the bathroom had a strong urine smell that was even stronger after it was cleaned. It appears that they use a product that has a smell that resembles urine. The king size bed room was a bit tight.

Hotel is great but there’s awful smell in our room from the carpet? Not sure. The surroundings of the building is unsafe many homeless and addicts around but private parking of the hotel is safe. Close to everything. Breakfast is limited.

As others have mentioned, this is an older hotel, but I still felt like it's well-maintained and the age didn't negatively impact my stay. You can't beat the location in regards to walking down to the waterfront and exploring all of the piers or catching a ferry or guided boat tour. It's also a short walk to the Pioneer Square light rail station, which easily connects you to the airport. I know there is a homeless problem nearby, but I did not have any bad experiences or encounters. As for my room, I was upgraded (from a full bed to a queen), and the room met my needs. Comfortable bed and a functioning AC, as well as WiFi. The free breakfast is solid too. I'd definitely consider staying here again primarily due to location.

Beautiful historic hotel with clean and comfortable rooms equipped with essential amenities. Excellent and friendly staff especially Trapp who allowed us to check-in early and offered cold water and snacks upon arrival. Cleaning crew were wonderful although hallways had a musty smell. Continental breakfast with many options and the serving crew were on top of refilling and cleaning promptly. Location close to the ferry terminal and a few blocks to 1-Line light rail to the airport. The value was excellent for the location!

Beautiful hotel! Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean. Even though it was noisy outside I felt very safe. But it is in downtown so no way to improve on the noise factor. I would stay there again.

We stayed her to attend a football game. We loved the walk ability and proximity to Lumen Filed. It’s definitely an older building with classic Character, but it was clean and the staff was great. I was surprised at the size of the room. It was much smaller Than expected, but met our needs. Lots of restaurants around and close to the board walk and Pikes Place. Great place to stay if you won’t be renting a car.

Truly was a charming great (brief / just overnight) stay. Love the Pioneer Sq area of Seattle - charming and close to Amtrak and downtown features. My room was compact (but not too small), with all amenities. I did suggest to the front desk person that a grab bar in shower would be good idea and he cheerfully took the suggestion. But if that was the only idea I had for improvement (I used to run a bed and breakfast), we're in great shape. All three staff I encountered were cheerful, responsive, and helpful. The continental breakfast was fine and the lady in charge was welcoming and bustling around helping at 6:30 AM. I have this hotel in my list now as great place for repeat visits to Seattle.

We were very disappointed given the price that we paid for a night. I like older hotels, but the room was truly tiny- no place to open our suitcases. Our room looked onto walls in one direction and an alley overflowing with trash in the other. We were told that none of the rooms had views. Maybe there was once a pleasant lobby, but no longer. This was apparently once a budget hotel- it should still be inexpensive.

We couldn’t have been happier with the Pioneer Square! It had so much character, the staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was quaint and clean. We had one day in Seattle and the location was perfect to do and see the town.

The lady at the front desk, Nalyiah(sp) was absolutely fantastic. Helped us get around town. Found great restaurants. Always with a smile. Definitely an asset fo BW. Breakfast had a wonderful selection and Marie was great at keeping the area clean and well stocked

It was a nice enough place if it werent for the fact that they left an ozone generator on in our room (we had never seen one so we didnt know what it was) and we had breathing problems the entire night with residual symptoms continuing into a day later. Staff were slow and ill informed of what to do in this situation and the manager insisted she "investigate" our room— total breach of privacy as we still were in there at the time. Eventually they did offer a refund, though Im not entirely sure if itll be enough to cover my friend with asthma's medical expenses. In a nutshell, these people poisoned us on accident. If you stay here and see a blue box, unplug it! It could kill you!

Conveniently located to the waterfront piers, the free waterfront shuttle, ferries, stadiums and the light rail. Complimentary breakfast in the morning had a good variety of choices and was filling. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious and the was hotel quiet.

Property is fine, construction everywhere, in this neighborhood. Seattle Pioneer Park is definitely not a nice area like it was in the past. I would not stay here again.

What a nice surprise this was - beautiful historical building and within walking distance of Seattle Art Museum, Pike Place Mkt etc. perfect location. I arrived by Amtrak and walked in only 8 minutes to hotel from King St. Station.

Beautiful heritage building, very clean rooms and area throughout the hotel, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Front end staff were helpful & informative. Great location for restaurants all around, alley and across the street felt a bit unsafe after dark.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and many attractions including Space Needle, Mariners Stadium, Public Market and King Street Train Station. Took Lite Rail from Seattle Tacoma airport to Pioneer Square for $3.00 and walked to hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful answering questions regarding the area. Breakfast was very nice with great options. We would stay there again.

It was a great hotel, unfortunately the area around the hotel is unsafe. We found ourselves on 3rd Avenue which was terrifying. That street is only a few blocks from this hotel. So many homeless people who are begging for money and on drugs. Great location in regards to near the piers and ferry but unfortunate the city has so many homeless people.

It's a perfect location, and the hotel is charming and cozy. I could easily walk to the waterfront and some museums. There are several nice restaurants and coffee shops in the area as well. The staff are very nice and helpful. I loved the continental breakfast, which was included in the price.

This was the perfect stay for my partner and I! We saw a show at the WAMU Theatre and wanted to be in walking distance. This was not only the perfect distance to the theatre, but the staff was super kind and knowledgable, the room was clean and parking was available in a secure location so we didn't have to worry about the rental. They also provided breakfast which was delicious and had some of the best apples I've had at a hotel! Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Was only expecting a bathroom to shower in and a bed to sleep in at this hotel but it far exceeded any expectations I had. The check was fast and easy, and the room was really small and kind of cramped, but it was clean and had all the necessities. What amazed me was in the morning, they had an incredible selection of food for breakfast, a bottle filler for your water bottles, and an espresso machine all included in the price of the room! The area it's located is also fantastic, right downtown Seattle, a walk or scooter ride from endless things to do. Would definitely stay here again!

If you were expecting the latest and most modern amenities in a historic building, this might be one to pass on. However, for us the value and level of service were outstanding. The staff were polite and helpful, providing assistance and supplying forgotten toiletries. Breakfast was well supplied with variety and good quality. The location is right on the water, with close proximity to all the Pioneer Square attractions and other downtown attractions. All of those things combined with an extremely reasonable price would lead me to stay here again. The only downside is the cost of parking. I would prefer to have that cost included with the initial booking to better evaluate total cost of staying. That being said, the parking was on the property and both secure and private.
