Hampton Inn Seattle/Southcenter

Large room and bathroom. Modern property, clean. Right next to the highway so no great if you are a light sleeper. Breakfast was mediocre and $10 for parking.

Great service and convenient airport shuttle. Hot breakfast included. No complaints.

We booked expecting the pool to be available… it wasn’t. Told not til after Memorial Day. Should’ve posted on the site so we know…

I was surprised and disappointed that I had to pay for parking. According to the website, it said "Free Parking". We were arriving at the hotel around 11pm, and checking out the next day, so that's what attracted me to go to this hotel. Why would I want to pay for parking if I'm staying there for only 12 hours?!? I did talk with the manager in the morning and explained to her that the website site said "Free Parking" when i did my reservations. She said well we just started this program, that parking is now being charged. I told her, that false advertisement, to have your website say "Free Parking" and when checking into the hotel, being told you need to pay for parking to received your parking pass. She asked if i paid for the parking pass? I said YES, cause the gal said, we need to pay for our parking inorder to get a parking pass. The Manager said, if you already paid, I am unable to reimburse you for the parking since it's third party. I was confused!?! So I asked her, are you saying that the Hampton Inn does not own the parking lot? but owns the building??? What am I missing??? All she did was give me her card and said I need to talk with the third party that I paid parking too... This was not the way to start off a well needed vacation to be "nickeled and dimed" on parking - that should have been FREE, according to the website.

Updated rooms which we enjoyed! Great breakfast buffet options for the hotel price. Shuttle for both the airport and the Tukwila Station was really convenient. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again!

Negatives: Bed was uncomfortably hard and we also had someone banging at our door past midnight… not the best night of sleep. Additionally, disappointed that the pool and hot-tub were drained. Positives: Friendly staff and a clean room!

Stay was ok. We stayed because it was close to the airport. We needed to get to the airport early and shuttle service was offered starting at 4 am. Nobody was running at 4:10 am so had to take a uber to the airport. Very disappointing to stay because of shuttle service but wasn’t on time

We used to stay here years ago and it is definitely more tired. Plus they have no hot tub anymore so that was a bummer. Area doesn’t feel as safe anymore either but it is close to the mall and lots of restaurants.

Excellent location. This property is undergoing renovations at the present time so keep that in mind. Hotel is still a good value however. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do when we go to the Seattle area.

The front desk people were very helpful, and the shuttle to the airport was great. However, parking was extra which is absurd!

Really good nice and clean

This hotel is an overall average stay. Currently, they are upgrading the king rooms to roll-in shower. For that reason, there is loud noise intermittently. The front desk provides complimentary ear buds which is thoughtful. Pros: Area shuttle bus to the mall, airport, target, listed restaurants etc. designated times. Nice upgraded rooms Gym Free breakfast Pool You can purchase items like noodles, pills, etc. Cons: Very untidy/unclean eating areas. Rooms are not clean enough, check microwave, phone is dusty etc. Hotel carpets need to wash Lobby area needs to be upgraded Staff needs to be available at all times. Sometimes it takes a while to get customer service to check-in/receive help.

Reception was friendly.no valet available. Carpet was worn and dirty. Room had odor. But appeared ok. Hotel was booked with soccer tournament. Just figured would work for one night. I sleep warm so just pushed all bed coverings to bottom of bed and just slept with feet covered. Woke up in morning with rash on both ankles.

I didn’t even make it beyond the lobby. It smelled like years and years of built up cigarette smoke, so I found another place to stay.

Excellent property with clean rooms, fresh towels and comfortable beds. Really close to SeaTac airport and within driving distance to many breakfast and brunch restaurants.

Hotel is under construction/remodeling. The room had new updated finishes, but the ceiling vents were very dirty. The beds were clean and comfortable and the a/c worked well. This hotel is a decent choice for close to the airport accommodation. I really appreciated the local shuttle provided. I would stay again.

We booked a single queen room. The bed was not even close to a queen. It was a full size bed. The room was extremely cramped. It was as if the room was an after thought. In addition the heating/cooling system was apparently "having kittens." It would kick on and off in a most unconventional way. It would start then stop three times before finally turning on. My wife and I have stayed at multiple Hampton Inns around the U.S. This was not a good representation of their brand.

The room was a twin room that I stayed in very very tight and the road noise which started about three in the morning was aggravating The room was that tight between the bottom and the bed and the desk you had to shoehorn the swivel chair in to do any work Not sure I would use it again If so I would be very peculiar about which room I took Breakfast was excellent the lady that cooked it couldn't have been better front desk staff will find room service appears to be only on demand so remember to ask for that

The customer service and friendliness from hotel employees was exceptional. One employee went the "extra mile" for me. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and offered various food options. The hotel was very quiet during my stay. Everything in the room smelled, felt and looked very clean. Any negatives might be with the hardware and furniture, which I can live with. There was not enough room for the desk chair. The chair blocked access to the far side of the room because the back of the chair was against a bed. Some of the breakfast area furniture could use upgrading. There were fire alarm malfunctions during my stay. Still I think this Hampton Inn is good value.

It was nice overall, but the air conditioner was really loud, on and off all the time in a summer night. None of us slept well.

Only minor complaint is that there isn’t enough lighting in the rooms. There’s no ceiling light, only lamps, and they’re not strong enough to illuminate the room

The rooms, though a bit dated were exceptionally comfortable. Lobby had many choices for snacks and they had excellent airport bus service

The room was small, but cozy. Everything was clean and well stocked. No complaints. But a warning...our room was right next to 405, so we had to run the fan on high to drown out the sounds.

Mattress was rock hard. Both my husband and I had issues sleeping because of it and woke up with sore hips and back. Everything was great!

What an accommodating organization. We ended an Alaskan cruise at 6:30 am with a flight to RDU that was not leaving until 10:00 pm. On top of that we had four pieces of heavy luggage. The front desk staff made it so easy. She put us in a room that morning, explaining that breakfast was still being served until 9:00 am. In addition, she suggested local places within walking distance. Amelia dropped us at the mall, which gave us more dining options. He was very pleasant, very complimentary of the hotel, and gave us the number to call when we were ready to return. The room was clean and spacious, with a full channel layout of DirectTV. The General Manager gave us recommendations on what time to leave for the airport, and that the hotel provided a shuttle. She was super nice. We loved the practical touches, like a scale to weigh our baggage. Impressive!! We REALLY enjoyed our stay, and the staff added to the atmosphere. Well done Hampton Inn!

Shuttle took us to the nearby mall after an early check in allowing us to eat and shop. Very considerate and helpful.

Great, convenient hotel. Random- but particularly liked the pillows. They were not big and bulky like a lot of hotels. Staff was very nice.

Each desk and housekeeping staff member was accommodating and very helpful with anything i asked for or needed.

Met Hector and Sonia lady on the shuttle from airport and front desk. They were welcoming and friendly.

The Hampton Inn/Tukwila was the perfect location for the front-end of our trip to the PNW. It was convenient to the Southcenter Mall area, with a good selection of restaurants and stores, plus its convenient to the SeaTac airport! It was also convenient to I-5 and 405 which allowed us to get into Seattle easily to see the many sites we had on our list. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a convenient, affordable hotel.

Everything was ok, Tukwila is a great Area to stay.

Lots of cars being broken into so can’t leave anything in car. Place is locked down at night due to thefts. Noisy from busy road and the place is really dated and starting to look shoddy. Breakfast was good though.

The property is close to shopping mall and dining. The only down side of it is the freeway. It was a bit noisy from outside but it was pretty quiet inside. It was good overall. Thank you.

Pathetic breakfast service...it was not available at all. Even a basic item like Milk was Not there. No yogurt, no eggs, pretty much nothing. Even though we arrived well in time.

Unfortunately, I would never stay here again. The room is very dark. Not enough lighting. The bathroom configuration does not make it easy for a female to get ready in the morning. The breakfast was very disappointing. I cannot believe in this day and time there are no plant-based milk options available. Which makes me think I will never stay at day and time Hilton property again for the same reason. Good grief. This was Seattle, not someplace in the Midwest.

This hotel was ten thumbs up👍 Nice shuttle driver from airport, friendly receptionist, forgot toothbrush..still no charge😊, clean upscale room, but what made it even best yet was the free breakfast that had all the regulars & more…hot food looked and tasted fresh off the grill, more than the average toppings for waffles, oatmeal and cereal, and bananas that were yellow, not browning! Oh, yes, best of all…soft, tasty scones😋. No, I’m not a Hampton plant, just a retired corporate CS rep that knows quality when I experience it! Give everyone at this location a bonus from the driver to the kitchen help!

Breakfast had issues with keeping up. Both morning food area was extremely congested due to folks waiting for main foods to be refilled, multiple times

There was a day when a Hampton Inn breakfast was a thing to look forward to. Not today - mediocre food, dirty tables and no forks! It really was not a good experience

Clean room, great staff, good wi-fi, and good breakfast.

Breakfast had a hard stop @ 9a & the kitchen ran out of all the hot entrees.

Our stay was fine as usual. Only disappointment was that when we went down for breakfast around 8:15, there was no yogurt, no oatmeal, only 1 hard boiled egg and the pan of little egg omlet things were burnt on the edges. I suppose things got refilled, but we were in a hurry, so made due.
