I love staying here at Christmas time. The decorations in the lobby are spectacular. This truly is a special place. Our room in the tower was beautiful. The bed is so comfortable and the drapes give you a perfect blackout for deep sleep. Breakfast in the cafe is nice. The pool on the 23rd floor is fantastic. Staff are welcoming and helpful.

Thank You, we felt important and wonderful at the same time, as we walked into the Hotel. The Spa is the Heart of Good Health, I experienced also Good Spa at The BROADMOOR Hotel in Colorado. I really enjoyed the wonderful experience and professional Staff, I purchased products to continue the rich and dreamy feel I received . I plan to come back, bring and treat a family member - hard working Medical student who is living near. I appreciate good quality places, Yours is close and easy to drive to. I want to do a Mother/Daughter trip, as well. Thanks - Being taken care of means a lot to Me, The Staff is Friendly, Caring, Kind, Knowledgeable and Gentle with Beauty in every step.

Beautifully maintained historic property, with comfortable bed and bedding. However we experienced a few shortcomings relative to our room. Two days in a row we had to call very late in the afternoon because no one had come to refresh our room. On one of those days, our soap was removed but never replaced. There is a nice coffee maker in the room, but it typically had just two coffee pods and several of the creamers were curdled. Luckily, there were a couple good ones in the mix. It would be helpful to have either some napkins or a small towel by the coffee machine. Cocktails are expensive and not anything special. It would be a nice touch to at least provide a small dish of nuts or bar mix with the drinks. The cafe food and service were consistently good and reasonably priced, so we went there several times. All in all, this hotel is quite expensive (over $800/night on the couple days when our room servicing was missed). The valet service was excellent, and the front desk associates were very helpful.

There is a reason the Pfister is on the list of the countries 10 best historic hotels. While the common areas have maintained the majestic grandeur, our suite was tastefully modern, with all that one would expect from a hotel of this stature. I would recommend the hotel spa and all the dining options on the premises we sampled were up to standard.

We waited for over 2 hours for a room that was so dusty you could write your name on the furniture, the bathroom magnifying mirror was hanging by a broken arm making it useless and the toilet seat was broken. When we reported the condition of the room we were told that housekeeping would take care of everything. Housekeeping came the next afternoon and did not take care of anything. They made the bed and left. This hotel was a huge disappointment.

Beautiful hotel (currently under lobby renovations FYI) that we wanted to love but had a subpar experience. Room was not ready until 2.5 hours after check-in time, stained linens, trash under the bed and a pair of dirty socks from the last guest were crumpled on the floor. We understand there were staffing issues over the holiday weekend, but the quality was extremely impacted.

Not as clean as expected. Housekeeping came in the first day and made the bed but did not vacuum or clean the bathroom. Soap dish empty as was shower pump. No top sheet on bed only heavy comforter. Not ideal in summer. All was taken care of when they first asked how my stay was going. First impressions are key!

my husband feel warm in the room so he turn the AC on the lowest setting then in the middle of the night the ceiling is leaking, it’s like it’s raining inside, i like the place tho it’s beautiful hotel

I paid for an upgrade to a luxury suite in the 'historical part'. However, the 'historical part ' of the hotel had paper thin walls. My room was directly above the lobby. Not only it had a noisy lobby bar, it also keep the music on in the lobby throughout the night. I got to hear all night. I had stayed in the newer part in a trip last year. The room was excellent. The restaurant was crowded the first night I got there. The receptionist said I could easily get a table when I ask him to make a reservation at checkin. It wasn't the case. The only seat I could get was at end of the bar by a trash can. Downtown Milwarkee is not safe to walk after dark. So, there was really no other dining option if you arrive late.

Outstanding and perfectly updated. We received a high floor and adjoining rooms. It was luxurious and comfortable. Service was excellent and food at bar was excellent. Finally, setting the temp in room was easy and accurate (many old buildings are overheated in winter and this was easy to set to just what you want).

They had 5 star service from the second we walked in to the time we left four days later. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Every worker there is well trainees and they make sure to treat everyone as you are the most important guest in the entire hotel

The lobby is beautiful and makes you feel like you are in a really special hotel. The staff at check in was extremely welcoming, offered a glass of Champaign, gave great suggestions for dining and also gave me an upgrade to a higher floor. The staff in the restaurant was also great and the food was great (we had breakfast there).

Pfister sent marketing for their app through Expedia. Their email promised check-in on the app/no waiting in line at the front desk. But when I got there, app wouldn't process my check-in, and I was told I had to get in line - because I used Expedia.

6PM check in and the room was not ready. They offered us champagne while we waited, which was really nice. They found a room and sent us to the 14th floor. When we got to the room, the door was open and it was still being cleaned. We went back to the lobby and were giving keys to a different room - when we entered that room we realized it was already somebody’s room. They had given us keys to a room already occupied. Thank goodness they were not in the room! It was very uncomfortable. Back to the lobby we go and then they give us the original room - now fully cleaned. So checkin was poor.

The check in experience was awful. I’ve stayed at this hotel for 20 years and this past weekend upon check in I was treated rudely by the check in person. I was on a work call in front of the registration clerk, who my wife gave my license to, since the booking was in my name, and the clerk refused to check us in unless I was off the phone. I got off the phone and checked in and the clerk had such a rude attitude towards my wife and I. Even the bell man who assisted with our luggage commented on his colleague’s behavior being inappropriate. I expect this behavior from a chain hotel experience, not the Pfister.

Checking in was a nightmare. Wait was over 20 minutes. When we finally got up to the counter to check in, the girl began to help us until another couple walked up, cutting in line, and she took care of them. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. Hotel room was good. Housekeeping never came over the two night stay. Needed to ask for more toilet paper. Seems customer service is not a priority. It’s an unfortunate, customer service plays a big part, especially when you are paying for a higher end hotel. We won’t be back.

Our room was quiet and clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've had in any hotel. Dined at the restaurant on-site and ordered room service, both of which exceeded our expectations. Music was played outside and throughout the hotel and it really gave it a nice vibe, the beautiful, interior definitely matched the music. You are greeted and given a glass of champagne at the front desk wich is a lovely touch. Really felt welcome. Good area for food and eveything was within walking range.

Excellent rooms and faciliities. Staff were terrifically helpful. We were disappointed with breakfast. Poor quality dishes. Also, parking was confusing especially as we left Pfister in evening to go out to dinner and we were told to use room key to leave and return but it didn't work.

Beautiful room, amazing bed, great bathroom & towels. Would’ve like some snacks IN the mini bar to choose from, and some toiletries like lotion or a nail file kit would be nice. WiFi was great!! Definitely a little noisy with the alley right out the window & garbage truck noise a bit much at 5am. Steakhouse & room service was fabulous.

Mechi and Rishav were very efficient and quite lovely at the front desk. A very nice first impression. The hotel is beautiful and still very tech current. Food at Mason Street Grille is delicious and the service is impeccable. My husband and I will definitely be returning in the near future.

We were surprised our room was not ready over an hour after check-in, though it was nice to be offered a complimentary drink at check/in while we waited. The well-meaning valets misplaced our car keys resulting in us barely making our dinner reservation. It was unclear if the hotel was short staffed or standards are slipping. It’s a beautiful historic hotel, but the experience did not match the price tag of the room. We have stayed at the hotel many times but this was experience didn’t live up to the past. Orlando, our server at breakfast in the cafe was an absolute delight, and the food & coffee was delicious.

The Checking staff and front were very helpful. The restaurant in the morning was so backed up they said 45- 1 hour wait. Ridiculous on Sunday AM. They said lobby had same menu. We went to lobby and found a dirty table and waited 20-25 min and no one came to take our order. I asked at the bar in lobby and they said there was a server but he/she could not be found. We left and ate somewhere else. Very disappointed.
