Second time staying here. Rooms are clean, beds are soft, pool is refreshing but their breakfast brought us back again. Biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cereal, bagels, danishes, bread, yogurt ... Yes, I know, sounds like most places but seriously those eggs are done perfectly and the rest are just fine quality.

Very small elevator that only holds two people. Difficult to get in and out of parking lot. A lot of noisy guests in hallway. Toilet seats do not fit.

Room was mostly clean. Other people's hair on the bathroom floor (which really grosses me out), breakfast was not great, beds are so high (makes it hard for me b/c my legs are bad). It was convenient location right off the exit. The tv was large and so was the bathroom. There was about 2 inches of frozen ice covering the parking lot and drive. I didn’t see this at any other location we went that night. I think they could have done a MUCH better job with this. It was VERY dangerous walking on it especially loading and unloading your car. Probably would choose another property in this location next time. The price wasn't cheap and I think there could have been some small changes that took little effort to make this place better.

The front desk ladies were very nice coming in and leaving. The hotel was one of the cleanest I've stayed in. I will say you can hear doors opening in the hall wall, so if you are a light sleeper that might bother you. For me it was no issue. Breakfast had a good amount to choose from. The hotel was convenient and right off the highway.

There was a bad smell in our room. We had to kill a beetle in the bathroom. There was a lot oh someone’s hair on the bathroom floor. Skip the breakfast, not worth it, even though it’s included.

When looking for an outlet for my charger, i noticed a pile of random trash and a used washcloth behind the chair. At breakfast the following morning, most of the hot choices were already gone at 8AM. When we complained about the room, we were moved to another room, where I found a used soap bar in the shower. The 2nd and 3rd mornings, breakfast was better supplied. Although the hotel is in a very convenient area, we'll lokely choose a different property next time. The best thing about our stay was that the desk staff were all very polite and helpful.

The room had not been cleaned. There were stains on the bathroom floor, cut fingernails in the carpet, and when I turned down the bed, the sheets had obviously not been changed. There were a lot of hairs and stains on the sheets. While we were dealing with the front desk, trying to get another room, part of the conversation we overheard was whether or not they were going to sell that room to another person and it’s current state. If you choose to stay here, definitely check your bedding before getting settled in.

Just needed a place to crash on my way south, stumbled upon one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Only small complaint is that the room and bathroom are just a bit cramped. Other than that… Comfortable beds, comfortable towels. Very clean. Great shower. Lighting options that I didn’t know I needed. Lots of outlets. Now I’m trying to figure out how to take more trips that let me stay at this hotel.

Very average. Do not stay if you are looking for quiet. You will hear every door open and close. You will hear every conversation happening in the hallway and the rooms next door. Luckily we only needed one night to pass through. It is close to a lot of fast food restaurants.

It was a fairly typical hotel room with two queen beds. The bathrooms are very small and don’t leave a lot of counter space for three people to use, there really wasn’t enough storage space for luggage a very small closet and no real storage drawers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was very quiet.

Great hotel! We usually stay at the Hampton Inn, but have been disappointed with them lately. I had read great reviews about this particular Comfort Inn and I was not disappointed. We were driving north from Florida and needed a one night stay, it is right by the highway, it was clean, quiet, lots of dining options in the area and some are walkable. Bed was very comfortable, but it was quite high and could be a problem for a person with mobility problems. Typical hotel breakfast, but it was hot and coffee was good. I absolutely recommend this Comfort Inn at Beckley WV.

I got in at around 2 pm, I know that check in is at 3pm, I was going to ask if they would let us check in early but the desk clerk doesn’t even say hello, just started saying “check in is at 3, we don’t have any rooms ready “, and made us wait, when I came back close to 3, she said that they were short staffed. While I’m understanding that it’s hard when that happens I don’t expect people to be rude as it’s not my fault that it happens

Staff is absolutely outstanding and properly is very very clean! Ginny and Patricia were very friendly, made us feel welcome and very valued as guests. We met Shashi, the owner and he also took the time to talk to us and make us feel welcome! This Beckley Comfort Inn is the best we have stayed in all our years! We’ll definitely be back!!

The renovated property was nicely appointed with comfortable beds, nice bathroom and decor. The receptionist when we arrived in the evening was surly and cold as ice. Never experienced someone on reception like this before in all our travels, and as Expedia knows, we travel a LOT. Definitely not a person who should be greeting your customers. The breakfast was subpar with few healthy options. The rate was much less than the surrounding hotels and had great reviews. This is why we chose to stay here. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

This property was very nice. It was clean and well maintained. From checking in with Susan who was so helpful and brought a smile to everyone she greeted, to check out our experience was great! Patricia, who worked in the dining area, kept this area very neat, well stocked, and was quick to help you whenever needed! These two women are real assets to this property. The only thing we felt could use improving are the room lights. We definitely will stay here again whenever we are in the area.

The location is convenient to a variety of restaurants. Wendy’s is right next door and a quick walk across the parking lot. The breakfast is the usual continental breakfast. The staff complained a lot and were quite loud about it. We heard the cleaning staff over the tv in our room. Beds were comfy and water pressure was great.

Desk clerk couldn’t find our reservation even after we showed her our receipt. It took well over an hour to finally get a room. She argued over the phone with Hotels.com about the room rate stating it was wrong and should be Xxx.xx. We were like that’s between Comfort Inn and Hotels.com,don’t drag us into it, just provide a room for us as we just drove 10 hours. Terrible experience.

The hotel was easily accessed from our route. The check-in was easy. Our room, on the first floor was clean, and a quick trip to breakfast area and waffles! We also liked that it was walking distance to both Wendy's and Texas Steakhouse. Although we didn't use it, the fitness center looked sufficient for a quick workout.

We were traveling north on I-77 and found this Comfort Inn to be very convenient to the interstate. Restaurants, gas stations and a Kroger grocery store were all close by and easily accessible. Check in was fast and the desk clerk was very personable and efficient. She made us feel at home.,Our room was quite comfortable and the flat screen LG tv was very large and great for watch the NFL playoff games! We’ll definitely stop again!

Easy to find off of the highway. There are fast food options and gas stations right there. The hotel continental breakfast was very good. Excellent sausage patties and sausage and gravy! ! Even though it was close to the highway - it was very quiet. The rooms are huge and seemed like they have been recently remodeled.

My room was comfortable enough, including the bed. The rest of the hotel is pretty grim. It was snowy and icy outside and the parking lot had not been cleared, making it hazardous to walk into the hotel The only elevator appears to be a freight elevator, and was freezing cold (cold air blows in there for some reason) and loud. The included breakfast was inedible. Really bad food. Didn't end up eating it. The front desk staff were polite and efficiently checked me in.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable sums up our one night stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. I don't eat breakfast, but my picky husband went back for seconds of the biscuits and gravy. I have lung issues, so it is important to me that there is no discernible perfumed laundry or other cleaning products used. This hotel is both clean and fresh smelling without relying on scented products. That, plus the comfortable mattress and bedding made for a great night's sleep. Would I come back? You bet!

We booked last minute to break up a long drive. We arrived late and noted parking lot is too small for hotel size.. it was very difficult. We were greeted warmly by front desk person whom promptly got our keys and directed us to room. The room was very small..in fact to small for 2 queen beds and luggage. The hotel feels like a remodeled cheap motel with its lay out ceiling height and feel. The bed was comfortable clean with nice sheets. The bathroom was not as clean.. the sink had mold around edges and vent fan with caked black dust. The next morning breakfast was 7-9 we arrived at 8:30 and noted things were very low and not being replenished. The lady working buffet was the most unfriendly to the point of rude.. overall I do not recommend nor would I stay here again.

The renovated property was nicely appointed with comfortable beds, nice bathroom and decor. The receptionist when we arrived in the evening was surly and cold as ice. Never experienced someone on reception like this before in all our travels, and as Expedia knows, we travel a LOT. Definitely not a person who should be greeting your customers. The breakfast was subpar with few healthy options. The rate was much less than the surrounding hotels and had great reviews. This is why we chose to stay here. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

Second time staying here. Rooms are clean, beds are soft, pool is refreshing but their breakfast brought us back again. Biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cereal, bagels, danishes, bread, yogurt ... Yes, I know, sounds like most places but seriously those eggs are done perfectly and the rest are just fine quality.

Desk clerk couldn’t find our reservation even after we showed her our receipt. It took well over an hour to finally get a room. She argued over the phone with Hotels.com about the room rate stating it was wrong and should be Xxx.xx. We were like that’s between Comfort Inn and Hotels.com,don’t drag us into it, just provide a room for us as we just drove 10 hours. Terrible experience.
