I loved staying at this hotel! The Executive/Business reservation is great! The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the snacks and drinks at the lounge is excellent. The service staff is fantastic anywhere that we went through the facilities. The amenities are great: swimming pool, spa/sauna.

El desayuno variado, delicioso y muy completo, el piso 9 tiene un busines launch muy confortable y con buenas opciones de comidas en la tarde-noche. El spa fantastico, la masajista muy profesional, la piscina de una temperatura muy agradable, los saunas increibles. This was my 4th or 5th stay at Tikal Futura Hotel. My room was on the 8th floor this visit. The room was nice and big with a very comfortable king size bed and great walk-in shower. When I walked in, I was greeted with a welcoming letter signed by the GM. (legit signature, not a stamp or copied letter) and a very nice welcoming gift. Very much appreciated this and the cleanliness of the room. The window view was beautiful, and the coffee in the room was delicious. Enjoyed the pool and the early morning water exercises and a soak in the jacuzzi right after. Another awesome stay and will definitely return soon.

We didn’t check in until 8 o’clock at night. So you would think your room is ready and clean however that wasn’t the case for us. After traveling all day, I didn’t complain about it as I was tired and ready to go to sleep and had to wake up early that morning. Bathroom was nasty, no cleaned the toilet and tub, at least that’s what it looked like. You just expect more, especially for the price we paid that night. Never again

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in many countries. No fridge in room is the only negative. One day I left my passport, cash, and valuables in the safe and realized when I got back at the end of the day that I had left it open and forgot to lock it (I remembered this when I saw it open). The staff had come in and cleaned the room and nothing was missing. Really impressed! Lots of nearby amenities also!

The bathroom needs improvement. It was challenging in using the shower handles were not properly adjusted the water was going everywhere and the water in the tub was not draining properly. The room was clean and organized, but no refrigerator which was disappointed.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff was friendly, the indoor pool was amazing my daughter enjoyed the little kids pool . The downside was that at night it was a little noisy due to the party’s on the banquet area and the bar where they had music . But it’s in a great location, clean and safe .

The manager who had me come back to the hotel 3 times was rude. He didn’t want to give me an early check-in even though I offered to pay. He refused and blatantly said that I will not be upgrading you because you already received an upgrade. I told him that I didn’t receive an upgrade because I purchased the room without an upgrade. He flat out said no, I will not be upgrading you and yes we do have available rooms for upgrades. He then ignored me and told me to come back. He was rude. I came back during and a young lady was kind enough to help me and when I asked for an early check-in she gladly accepted, however she had to get approval by the manager who helped me and once again, he didn’t want to give me the room. So then they finally accepted and they must have given me the worst room in the hotel. Horrible customer service

Well!, to be a 5 star Hotel in Guatemala, it does not cut it 😐 sadly because being from there to go visit you think it would be a nice experience. Got that one in particular because my aunt wanted to see a show that night which btw was very nice and made the bad taste sort if go away. Reception is horrible , some people don’t understand the meaning of customer service, I’m paying for a service which did not get , front personnel were extremely rude , they don’t care was basically told if you don’t like it too bad wow ! They leave you talking to yourself and then take forever to take care of you , at the end made us walk all the way across the building to check in right after doing the line and being the next person with no more people behind but they said it was to avoid the crowds 👻 what crowds? My aunt had to drag her suitcase all over and Yes there was a few nice indigenous people making the lines themselves & most unfortunate , that’s probably the reason why we were moved , like I mentioned we are from Guatemala and we look artesanal to put it nicely , sad this happens and management don’t care. Just to check in took almost 2 hrs and the room wasn’t even what I had paid for 😤

They don’t provide airport shuttle service, and if you have a U.S. phone number, they never answer the calls. To book transportation to the airport, you must make a reservation at least four hours in advance and pay Q132 (about $17 USD). This is not convenient for people who are not from the country, and if you don’t have a Guatemalan phone number, it’s also inconvenient. Additionally, they offer a tour but do not actually provide it. You have to reserve it one day in advance—but how can you do that if you’re only staying for one day? They also say they will bring breakfast to your room, but when you request it, they say it’s no longer available. The front desk service is not good, although the cleaning service and the food service are good. Keep in mind: if you are not from Guatemala, do not stay at this hotel, because it is very far from the airport and very difficult to reach.

Estuve hospedado 7 noches, a la 4 noche llegaron a tocar a mi habitacion pasada las 12 de la noche cuando me encontraba durmiendo. era un mesero a entregar unas flores y comida, le explique que no habia pedido nada y se fue. Minutos despues me llamaron de recepcion a decir que nuevamente estaba el mesero con el pedido, les explique nuevamente que no habia pedido nada y que estaba durmiendo porque madruagaba al otro dia a reuniones de trabajo. pasaron 15 minutos y volvieron a llamar de recepcion diciendo que habian confirmado que desde mi habitacion habian pedido el servicio, nuevamente les explique que no habia sido yo, que estaban equivocados, que por favor me dejaran dormir. Al otro dia baje a recepcion a hacer el reclamo y la respuesta fue que eso es normal que pase, que los huespedes en ocasiones se equivocan. Yo le explique que no era normal porque 3 veces que llamen a tu habitacion, pasada la media noche, no tiene ninguna justificacion.

Clean hotel, older so it needs a little updating. Hibiscus restaurant food was good a little pricey. Did not recognize VIP service and refused to honor discounts. Gentleman at the front desk was a little snobby about the VIP status. Will not stay there again.
