The hotel has a nice facade, with a park in front, and easy to find. The location is well situated where you can spot it just outside the West Exit. I especially like it that there is a walkway from the West exit to the hotel entrance without going down to street level! This means no traffic from the station to the hotel. I also love its reception area, with an elegance that fits the hotel's name. Breakfast is served in the restaurant facing the park and the station alhough I didn't have the time to experience it. A restaurant and a convenience store is on site, while Sogo department store is just a few steps away, with lots of restaurants on the 9th floor. The room was clean and comfortable and facilities are well-maintained. The room size is a bit bigger than other business hotels and I had a restful sleep after a hard day's work. Its a good idea to have a wide, full sized mirror, hiding the "closet" behind. With a special discounted price during my stay on Hotels.com, I had a good value for my money.

If you're looking for a more upscale hotel in Omiya, Palace Hotel Omiya is an excellent choice. Staying here was definitely the right decision. I arrived from Haneda Airport using the Airport Limousine Bus, which took about 70 minutes. It was so convenient because I didn't have to worry about hauling large suitcases through busy train stations. The bus stop is just steps from the hotel entrance. The location is also ideal for travelers. It's only about a 3-minute walk to Omiya Station, and a pedestrian deck directly connects the hotel to the station. This made it incredibly easy to catch the Joetsu Shinkansen the next morning. While there are several hotels in the area, Palace Hotel Omiya stands out if you're looking for a more refined experience. The hotel has an elegant atmosphere, and the staff were consistently warm, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet was another highlight. The selection was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the live cooking station, where chefs prepared made-to-order egg dishes just the way you like them. It was a wonderful way to start the day. If you're seeking comfort, exceptional service, and a touch of luxury in Omiya, I highly recommend Palace Hotel Omiya. It combines outstanding convenience with the polished hospitality that makes a stay feel truly special.
