The Mark Grand Hotel

Great atmosphere in the hotel bar loved the jazz soundtrack.

Everything was great but the staff didn’t seem to coordinate where we should go. They sent us to the 15 floor then told to go to the third floor but then told to go to the fourth floor. Also baggage to and from venue was very slow. With three children and two being on the spectrum was very difficult to get around. But the facility itself was very, very good.

I stayed in the Grand King Room on the upper floors. Was so lovely to have a massive comfy bed, room to stretch out in, a great TV, free flow drinks in the bar and an excellent quiet breakfast buffet with fresh handmade food beautifully presented and served. Everything was clean, everyone was helpful and even though it's a little out of Tokyo centre, I enjoyed the peace of that and the east access to stations within walking distance. I hugely recommend the nearby bonsai museum/village and the railway museum too. Again both in easy reach.

Room was clean. The hotel was nice. Just didn't like the fact that the Gym and spa were additional charges where it didn't mention that in the expedia listing.
