Palace Hotel Omiya

All hotel staff are very professional. I couldn't imagine this level of high standard for everything at this cost. Very satisfied.

Clean room. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was right beside a convenience store, and you can walk to Omiya train station in only a couple of minutes.

Great location, great breakfast, room was fine except that the climate control is centrally controlled and set to heater only right only which is fine but despite being so cold outside the room was so uncomfortably hot. Sign said if hot, just turn it off, but I did but for 2 nights it was just too hot and since the window could not be opened, no way to cool it down. I used the humidifier in fan mode to blow air on me but the constant drone gets noisy after awhile. Lack of under bed storage area was a problem too since the room is small. Blackout curtains was good, everything else was fine.
