Som andra skrivit är hotellet mer ett 4-stjärnigt än 5. Textilier på möbler nötta. Avloppet bör rensas. Badkläder och handdukar lyckades inte torka under 24h, lite fuktigt. Men vi stortrivdes med rum, utsikt, städning, sängar, fantastisk frukost, stor pool, fint gym. Läget är oslagbart. Precis vid Gamla Stan. Flygtransfer stannade precis utanför.Trevlig personal i reception och städning.

We liked spa. Very nice pool and sauna. We didn’t like bathroom. It was leaking. Need repair. Breakfast very poor quality. And aircon didn’t work.

Several pros: excellent position next to city centre and reception service (got both early checkin and late checkout, superior floor - thanks a lot!), clean room, very good breakfast, great pool. Few cons and recommendations: not a five-star hotel for sure. standard rooms pretty outdated, uncomfortable pillows, no iron board. lack of quality materials on the spa area (parquet close to elevators is the cheapest you can buy, wet sauna is unconfy and lacks water hose to clean chairs etc). parking pretty expensive too.

This is an elegant old hotel. The rooms were a little dated, but they were clean. There was no laundry facilities (even though it’s listed). The pool and spa area are fantastic!! Great sauna, steam rooms, we just loved the spa. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the restaurant on the 8th floor is very good!

The good: great location just in the center of the historic city. If you book an executive room you get warranted a high floor and tampa mountain view which is amazing. The lifts are fast and you never wait long. The blonde lady at the reception is very friendly and happy to help! The breakfast is nice with good choice The bad: Paid parking?!? We end up paying 23 euros for the parking which is outrageous, never ever been to any hotel which asked me to pay for the parking elt alone a 5 stars one. The hotel NEEDS renovating. It looks tired and worn out. We stayed 4 nights and we only got service one time, which was very basic just the bed done and towels changed. When we asked for an extra quilt, they said they will try but can't promise, which is very weird for such a basic demand The hotel is definitely NOT a 5 star,not even 4 star. I won't be booking again since my expectations weren't met.

Vi bode två familjer på denna anrika hotellet men det ligger numera mycket under standarden för en 5-stjärnig hotell. Incheckningen var trögt och byråkratiskt med en jätteformulär som alla skulle fyllas i, ingen leende bara förklaringar om att det är "myndigheter" som behöver alla våra uppgifter (ungefär som en ESTA ansökan för USA inträde). Rummen var ganska rena men med gammal heltäckningsmatta som ger en mystisk doft. Rummen behöver en rejäl uppfräschning, AC gick inte att justera och hade en liten TV apparat som en mindre dataskärm. Det värsta upplevelsen var frukosten som var fattig med lite gamla rutna frukt och många tomma fat som vi bad om att få se vad som skulle finnas fäbakom många skyltar med namn på produkter som inte fanns med på frukostbordet. Espresso, freshfrukt drink fick man betala extra 4€/st.

Old hotel, could be much nicer. Reception staff is fine, some of the restaurant staff is really no good. Too many old people are working here and I have nothing against old people. It is just when it comes to hospitality and hotels, the old people gets their salary and they lost their “appetite to serve” long ago… and it shows. My room was cleaned and then they left only one towel in the room. There are no paperwork in the rooms, no menu, no TV guide, no hotel book with services, absolutely nothing! With the exception of cheese, breakfast is quite low quality for a 5 star hotel. It used to be a 5 star hotel many years ago, it is not more then 4 now!

Very nice hotel to stay at with your partner. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Check in time was 3pm but the staff gave us the room at 11am as we were very tired after a long journey. Lovely ladies working at the front desk ensure that your stay is pleasant. Highly recommended! :)

Staff is horrendous -extremely ruud. Breakfast was often running empty and they would not refill, and quality of producys was too low for a 5 stats hotel.

Several pros: excellent position next to city centre and reception service (got both early checkin and late checkout, superior floor - thanks a lot!), clean room, very good breakfast, great pool. Few cons and recommendations: not a five-star hotel for sure. standard rooms pretty outdated, uncomfortable pillows, no iron board. lack of quality materials on the spa area (parquet close to elevators is the cheapest you can buy, wet sauna is unconfy and lacks water hose to clean chairs etc). parking pretty expensive too.

Vi bode två familjer på denna anrika hotellet men det ligger numera mycket under standarden för en 5-stjärnig hotell. Incheckningen var trögt och byråkratiskt med en jätteformulär som alla skulle fyllas i, ingen leende bara förklaringar om att det är "myndigheter" som behöver alla våra uppgifter (ungefär som en ESTA ansökan för USA inträde). Rummen var ganska rena men med gammal heltäckningsmatta som ger en mystisk doft. Rummen behöver en rejäl uppfräschning, AC gick inte att justera och hade en liten TV apparat som en mindre dataskärm. Det värsta upplevelsen var frukosten som var fattig med lite gamla rutna frukt och många tomma fat som vi bad om att få se vad som skulle finnas fäbakom många skyltar med namn på produkter som inte fanns med på frukostbordet. Espresso, freshfrukt drink fick man betala extra 4€/st.

Som andra skrivit är hotellet mer ett 4-stjärnigt än 5. Textilier på möbler nötta. Avloppet bör rensas. Badkläder och handdukar lyckades inte torka under 24h, lite fuktigt. Men vi stortrivdes med rum, utsikt, städning, sängar, fantastisk frukost, stor pool, fint gym. Läget är oslagbart. Precis vid Gamla Stan. Flygtransfer stannade precis utanför.Trevlig personal i reception och städning.

The rooms are spacious, clean, very nice. Hotel is beautifully reconstructed, bringing the old and the new in a great sync. Spa has a big, warm pool with a glass rooftop and two saunas, Finnish and a hammam. Breakfast was amazing, offering everything a person could dream about. Overall a 10/10 stay.

We liked spa. Very nice pool and sauna. We didn’t like bathroom. It was leaking. Need repair. Breakfast very poor quality. And aircon didn’t work.

This is an elegant old hotel. The rooms were a little dated, but they were clean. There was no laundry facilities (even though it’s listed). The pool and spa area are fantastic!! Great sauna, steam rooms, we just loved the spa. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the restaurant on the 8th floor is very good!

People at the front desk were very unfriendly, property is dated. It’s very well located and rooms are a decent size. Internet is terrible, no outlets next to the bed. We loved the city, but the hotel is meh. The gym has very few dumbbells, but does have machines. Mostly the service was not good. Don’t know where else there is to stay in town, but i wouldn’t recommend this place.

It was a lovely stay. We were able to check in a little early which was great. The room was large, clean, and had a.lovley view. We used the pool and saunas most days and they were great. The location is brilliant, right by the old town and also a short walk to local buses. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of items and set us up well for the day.
