We stayed during the week and it wasnt rowdy. Parking could be an issue if motel was full but we were told we could park next door if needed. Hi, the room was very good. The parking was awfully tight - to the point that when there were 2 spare spaces available, I still chose to park on the street (one you couldn't get into unless you reversed over the garden) - perhaps the spaces need to be widened by 20 cm each? I did notice the cleaning staff parking there which could cause a problem when all parks are taken by guests. I am interested why motels and hotels say they care about the environment and to save water towels don't have to be changed daily, etc, etc, but the easiest way to save water is to have a water saving shower head (this was missing from all our other accommodation too though, so not just a Best Western issue). We have stayed in Maryborough many times, this was the first time we stayed in the Kimba Lodge, it was in our opinion by far the best we have stayed in, we will be staying at Kimba Lodge in future visits. The usual inconvenience we found was the contract workers staying in motels across Maryborough, they all come in large 4x4 vehicles and some of there parking ability needs to be questioned, particularly when most parking on these facilities is limited, this is not to say there was any issues with the actual workers, never heard a sound, well except early in the morning when they left for work. But overall Kimba Lodge was a great motel.

Our stay was fantastic. Pool lovely and refreshing, room was clean and the bed wonderful and comfortable, oh and quiet. I have only 1 complaint. They just need to clean the exhaust fan o er the shower then they would work better.
